Everything. Beautiful venue, absolutely stunning room. Absolutely love the feel of the place. Room was enormous with a very luxurious feel. Dinner was fantastic as well. Quite pricey but you definitely get exceptional quality for your money. The staff were wonderful and attentive and we were given a free round of drinks because our starter was later than expected, even though we didn't really notice! Can't fault anything and will be back.
Only advice I'd give is we were initially going to have the bar menu rather than Al carte, however we only got the set menu and Al carte menu. Then noticed someone with something off the bar menu. So if all menus could be handed out if applicable that would be great. But we should have asked in all fairness.

From the minute we walked in everyone was so welcoming, and this continued throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and we were very grateful that they accommodated our early breakfast before we went out for the day to Oldfield Forge. The decor of the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are stunningly decorated and designed with comfort at the forefront. The food, whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner is sensational and not to be missed! We actually cancelled our reservations at another establishment on our second day because we didn't want to miss out on another night of their culinary delights...and we were not disappointed! I would highly recommend the goats cheese souffle starter, beef wellington and chocolate souffle dessert (the burgers are incredible too!) In summary, this hotel is an absolute must and we can't wait to come back again! We can't thank the staff (and chef) enough for making our stay at the New Inn so special and memorable.
The only thing to mention would be that you could hear the music from the restaurant downstairs in our room till late. However, it wasn't obnoxiously loud and earplugs were provided but we didn't need them and I'm quite a light sleeper.

Fantastic stay at The New Inn! The staff are super friendly and helpful, excellent service. We ate there both nights, once in the bar and once in the restaurant. The food was absolutely awesome both nights and breakfast was great too. Comfortable, good sized rooms, and very clean. It was really hot at night due to the mad heatwave, but fans had been put in the room to try and help with this as much as possible. Highly recommend this small hotel, a real gem.

Really lovely pub. Small and simple, beautifully decorated downstairs. Food was superb and while quite pricy, not outrageous. Room was lovely. Road noise commented on by others didn’t bother us. Some music noise from the bar downstairs could be heard but not late. Duvet was too warm, pillows too soft (for us). Bathroom well lit, shower was nice and powerful but decor in the bathroom was a bit unimaginative. TV was small and basic. Small details but have experienced better elsewhere at this price range. Lady in charge (Danielle I think) was lovely; very attentive and friendly, other staff we met also lovely.

From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room was wonderful, we really appreciated all the little touches (cookies, cotton pads in the bathroom). Breakfast was delicious, and the beer garden was lovely on a sunny afternoon. Loved the bath too
Only a small thing, the door into the restaurant from the garden is quite loud when it closes, we could hear it in our room. This was more annoying than the road noise (which didn't bother us at all)

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The building and decor is beautiful, we were lucky to arrive on a sunny day so were able to enjoy a wine in the stunning garden. When taken to our room we were completely blown away, we had the superior king with the big bath en-suite.. it’s even better in real life than on the pictures. Food was outstanding for our evening meal, and breakfast was beautiful! Clean throughout, can’t fault a thing! We will definitely book again and have recommended this place to friends and family.
The only thing which bothered me, which is out of the hotels control was the road noise. Ear plugs are provided though, I’m a light sleeper so that doesn’t help.

Staff were great, so welcoming and friendly. The Inn was spotless, lovely garden where we had our breakfast. And the food well, we go to a lot of places in this country but this was the best food we've ever had by far. We can't wait to go back. Thank you all.
We thought the bed could of been bigger seen as the room is big. And noise from the busy road. I slept fine but my husband didn't. But it wouldn't put us off going again

Excellent food well deserved AA rosettes. Will go again to try full set menu as we only managed the shorter one and every course was a delight. Rooms are very comfortable and very clean. and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Wye Valley beer is well kept and menu caters for excellent pub style grub as well as gourmet. A great balance.
The pub is situated on a cross roads and traffic can be a bit intrusive early morning. Ear plugs are available in the room in case of sleep disturbance. It did not affect us.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful room (Hare with separate bath and shower ) . Great choice of beers and wines. Great food - clearly very popular with the locals on a Saturday evening The whole property was done up early 2020 to a very high standard. Modern comfort incorporating 15th century feature ( exposed beams etc). Garden area lovely and would be great in a warmer evening
A little bit more choice at breakfast would have been good. It was well cooked and excellent quality. However we were not offered any fruit juice . Good choice of options - eggs Benedict, fruit , fried breakfast, açai bowl but you Couldn’t choose to have fruit / cereal / yoghurt as well as say a small amount of fried such as eggs on toast
