Overall I absolutely enjoyed my stay in Toghill House Farm. The location of the hotel (it's more a B&B) is perfect if you're with your car (lots of parking spaces as well). The breakfast is really the highlight as it was delicious and plentiful. The breakfast room was really lovely as well. On the same note, the whole establishment and, by extension, the room I was staying in was amazing, it had a very rustic, vintage, and cozy vibe.

One complaint about the room was the cold. I was staying during the winter and since the house is an older house it was by default colder. The rooms do come equipped with heaters, however, those looking for hotel-type luxury should probably look elsewhere.

It is very close to the Cotswolds Way and there is a restaurant just a few hundred metres away via a new permissive footpath. The room was cosy and had a good view. The facilities were excellent - if you want, you can wander around the farm and meet the animals. I have stayed here twice, and once my room was in the attic and had a bath with a view! The breakfast was a superb traditional English breakfast with real fried bread. There were plenty of other options to fill you up for the day.

Access to the bed in the loft bedroom is interesting, but a little fun at the same time. Haven't yet responded to my requests for an e-receipt after 5 days.

Really lovely comfortable room. Spotless. Very comfortable mattresses. Easy and straightforward check in. Lovely coffee/tea/ hot chocolate facilities. Beautiful countryside views. Stunning

During breakfast, we were not keen on the fact that the dogs could roam in and out whilst we were eating. No issues with the dogs roaming, just would have preferred that they did not come into the eating area Otherwise, a very comfortable stay. Thank you

Laura, the hostess was very nice and helpful. the room was comfortable and very clean. there was additional space to eat dinner independently, including a microwave. Breakfast was also good.

The farm is not easily accessible without a car. public transportation is 20 min away by road without walking path. The location is excellent for anyone walking the Cotswold trail but not to independent travelers.

Room is cosy and nicely designed (I love the flowery lampshades!). I simply adore the breakfast room, the sun shines through and it's just a perfect way to start the morning - the full English breakfast is amazing as well. Staff are endearing and lovely. We enjoy the walk around and get to see the horses and the sheep, the view is stunning. It is nicely situated in between Bath and Bristol.

Nothing not to love here! Gorgeous period farm oozes character and wholesomeness. Laura is the sweetest most accommodating host. Our room overlooked the paddock where sheep and chickens were grazing….such a lovely change from the city life. We tried to do our laundry but the drier was on the fritz so Laura took it in and dried it all in her own home. Staff also accommodated an earlier breakfast as we needed an early departure . Wish we could have stayed longer.

it was located outside of Bristol and exceptionally easy to access and good parking facilities, met by the lady who owns the property, she was friendly and helpful. the room was clean and had the usual facilities and a four poster be which was very comfortable. The shower eventually became hot ( was cursing a cold shower)but when it was hot it was possibly the best electric powered shower I have ever had it had a good pressure and was hot. breakfast was served in the main house and was very good with good selection of cereals and choice of full English or continental- full English was very good.

the room was cold even with the heating on and the bathroom cold in the morning.

Everything is perfect. We had reserved a family room, and when we arrived, it surpassed our expectations in terms of cleanliness, warmth, and the quality of the shower. The view that could be seen from the room was breathtaking. We arrived at the hotel at six o'clock in the evening, and the weather was foggy; consequently, when we checked in, it felt like our own home. You can use communal microwave and fridge too! The English breakfast was incredible, and the surrounding farmland and house provided a breathtaking backdrop for the meal. We felt our stress melt away as we strolled around the farm that belonged to the house. We were only able to stay there for one night, so it's a shame that we have to leave.

All I can say is wow!! A little bit heaven, rooms were lovely and warm. Imaculately, clean, well decorated, and a great size. The whole property was like a scene out of the film the holiday. The breakfast was amazing, full English as well as cereals, something for everyone. We will be back!! Thank you toghill farm house.
