The food we had was perfect really big portions for the price it was and the room was comfy and cosy. Everywhere was clean and very tidy but also very rustic. We loved that. Such a lovely village and was not far away at all from anywhere. We walked the 3 peaks and was only a 15 minute drive so was ideal.

We wasn't able to have tea on Sunday night as the kitchen closed at 7, on a bank holiday!! Not ideal after a walk doing 3 peaks we had to go get our own tea. Breakfast was fast but missing parts that should have come with it. Also we was not told or any signs saying that hot water for showers are turned off in the night so when getting up early Sunday we couldn't shower as there was no hot water. Overall the pros way out the stay however just little things that were not ideal.

The Location is fantastic for Ingleborough Cave and is only a short walk to the starting point. The hotel is perfect as a base for surrounding areas to explore. Ingleton and Settle are only a 10 minute drive. It is perfect for a peaceful getaway and relax The rooms and location are beautiful. The staff are warm and welcoming from first arrival, throughout your whole stay to on leaving. Breakfast has a continental or cooked option and both very tasty and great value with being included in the price of the room The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfy and there is a village shop just around the corner or there are supermarkets 10 minutes drive away. There is also a noticeboard across from the shop that has information on additional local activities occurring The hotel bar is very handy for after explore drinks with great drink selections, friendly staff and locals and a relaxed cosey atmosphere Highly reccomend a stay here when wanting to explore the surrounding locations. I will definitely be staying here again in the future and will recommend to friends

Lovely location. Dog friendly. Easy parking, check in and check out procedure good. Mostly friendly staff. Quiet hotel and location

Stayed in April and was very impressed with the hotel, room, staff and food, this time not so much. We were left standing at the bar for atleast 5 minutes while a member of staff dealt with another customer and a young female member of staff who was standing doing nothing did her best to ignore us. The room wasn't as clean as previously and the food wasn't as good. Also the mattress on the four poster bed was very hard, I know this is individual preference but it wasnt conducive to a good nights sleep. A shame realy as we had looked forward to our return visit but standards seem to have slipped lately

The breakfast was lovely although on the first morning there was no egg on my full english. I asked the chef next day very nicely if there was a shortage of eggs and he said there wasn't and he didn't know why it was missed. When my breakfast arrived it had 2 eggs, 2 hash browns, etc. He came to see me at the table full of smiles and asked if everything was Ok and we all laughed. It was very hot weather whilst there so we couldn't leave our dog either in our vehicle or in our room whilst having our evening meal so we were very kindly told we could bring the dog in the dining room with us. So we sat in a corner and our dog lay near us on the carpet.

There wasn't anything really apart from no plug in night light so you can see when visiting the bathroom in the dark. I always take my own as I have never stayed in a hotel, Inn or B&B where they have them. So the New Inn was the same.

I booked this hotel as a last minute night away for my girlfriend as a surprise after a long few weeks. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were helpful, friendly, organised and went out of their way to do their best. We stayed in room 9, we pushed the beds together to make it a double as I managed to book a twin room hahaha. I couldn’t complain about anything really as the room was comfortable, clean and the temperature was just right , with the option of a heater that was left in the room incase we felt it wasn’t warm enough. The hotel was perfectly placed for a nice walk and views around , with outside facilities that would be great to use in the summer but even nice to look at this time of year. I would have liked a bigger TV in the room but I think that’s just picking. In particular we noticed that the young waitress ebony was extra helpful to everyone and deserves a little bonus but a shout out at the very least if the owner or manager reads this. 100% will return, likely in the summer to enjoy the outside a bit more. Thank you very much for a nice stay.

Everything was fine. Room Clean deluxe room very large great tv two chairs and a sofa. Plus a 4 poster bed. Great views, no noise at night just owls. Friday was busy in restaurant had a little wait for food to arrive, but when it did OMG Bigest chicken Kiev you have ever seen on a bed of garlic mash with all the vegatables. Best meal I had in years. All staff polite, smilez on faces very helpful and knowledge of the beautiful village of Clapham. Wee had our beloved dog Lola with us and she was treated just as well, she's already asked to go back. Lovely hotel lovely staff, keep it up we are coming back, 😍

Found this hotel by accident and really pleased we did. Warm welcome from the moment we walked in, including being shown to our room and facilities being explained, which is rare these days. Room was large with comfortable beds, huge bathroom, TV & tea & coffee making facilities. Breakfast was amazing. We genuinely couldn't believe it was included in the price. There was a good choice of meals served in the evening. Large portions & quality local ingredients - steak was cooked to perfection, as was all the food which was also presented beautifully. All the team were friendly, helpful & nothing was too much trouble. Special shout out to Will who really looked after us. Even though the weather was awful, we loved the hotel & the food so much we stayed an extra night. A real gem of a hotel with exceptional food & customer service - we can't wait to stay again!

Everything!!! Staff extremely friendly, Stephen, Loz and Will another member of staff who I didn’t catch their name went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, especially our little dog. Very very friendly! Hotel room was immaculate and cozy, warm and good quality furnishings etc. Clean and modern with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. We loved the padded window seat. Pub and restaurant were modern but still had the country pub vibe with roaring fires, perfect for a nice cold drink after walking. Food was exceptional with huge portions, the button mushroom starter was Devine and the breakfast choice was unbelievable, from Full cooked breakfast to pastries and cereal, every kind of coffee you can think of and fresh juices too. Excellent value for money, I would pay double what we paid to receive what we did, we will definitely be back and can’t wait. Absolutely stunning little village with a beautiful beck running right through it with cute little bridges all along. Beautiful waterfalls 5 minutes walk away and caves and the trail up Ingleton entrance which we will be doing next time. So much historical land marks to see too. Just perfect!!

Coming home, I actually felt sad to leave, I don’t often feel like that when leaving anywhere.

Very clean and looked to have been recently refurbished to a degree. I had room 12 and it was a big room. Bathroom was large too with a shower over the bath that had decent pressure and worked well. I had dinner in the evening, cod and chips and asked for some onion rings not realising they were not on the menu, but the chef knocked some up for me which was a really nice touch. Couldn’t eat it all as it was a huge portion. I saw the size of the breakfast in the morning getting delivered to someone on the next table and opted for a sausage sandwich instead as I doubt I would’ve made it through the size of the breakfast.

There a little bit of noise making it into the bedroom from other rooms and machinery but it quietened down early and I got a great nights sleep so no real negative points here.

It was close to visit friends in tge surrounding villages. Easy accessibility to the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dale's. A beautiful picturesque village with plenty to do outdoor walking etc.. The village of Settle has a great Booths. I would say the higher end of Waitrose!! Great little market town. Visit the Settle Stream Train if you're interested in exploring the countryside. A nice stay. Very dog friendly!

The only downside was the service. Evening meal ordered starter waited and waited. Finally food (35mins)but it was my main course not the starter, which I had to ask for. There was only one person serving on the Saturday night.
