We enjoyed the breakfast, which had all the visitors sat around the same table, even though we had our concerns about this at first. It was lovely to get into conversations with other guests, and we even found out that some of them were soon to be visiting the place were we lived, and we could give them tips. A nice lounge is available for guests to use, though we didn't avail ourselves of it. Recommendation to visit Croombe park was spot on.

The velux windows could be quite noisy in heavy rain, but fortunately ear-plugs had been packed. All our stuff was tidied up for us without any warning whilst we were out. Whilst the staff clearly needed to access the room to top up the tea/coffee etc., it would have felt less intrusive if other stuff had been left. But we accept that is something of a personal preference.

This is a barn not a hotel . Rooms are small but have lovely velux windows tea coffee milk sugar television and we was room 1 and the bed was more comfortable than my own at home . Lovely hosts perfect breakfast cereals orange juice cooked breakfast lovely communal living room with television. I would stay again and the bonus was I got to meet the horses in stable next morning : the hosts were so lovely and hard working I give them 11/10 and when you go you shall too and ample parking . Two pubs in walking distance one is Nepalese restaurant at the anchor would recommend food and the other is Yorkshire man again fish and chips pub food absolutely spot on .

The bathroom and toilet for some could be a down point as just across the corridor which is no wider than a metre so not en suite but this is a barn not hotel and the toilet and bathroom were solely for our use so can’t grumble

The property was approximately 20 to 25 minutes walk into Upton upon seven on a very straight easy road. Took no time at all Even though it was near the main road, you couldn’t hear any traffic as there isn’t much traffic going on the roads . breakfast was very nice and the couple that run it were very pleasant.

The rooms were very snug- comfortable-, but the bedroom and bathroom were very snug. i’m quite don’t know whether they will be a fan available if it was a hot evening as it would be needed

All travellers' needs provided for but see above. Clear instructions with one important exception. Excellent breakfast and friendly hosts

My problems were really two: the main one was that there was no obvious way to take the chill off of the bedroom. The single radiator remained cold throughout evening and night with a ghost of warmth in the morning. Once in bed under the duvet it was fine but I did find this lack of heat saddened me as warmth is an obvious need. Of course it doesn't need to be sunbed hot! Maybe the hosts are tougher than me. Less of a problem was the absence of sound insulation from below. Conversation was clearly audible for the whole evening. Fortunately, it stopped before I needed to sleep (at around 11 p.m).

What a beautiful place! I was warmly welcomed and was shown to what was described as a family room with its own private facilities across a small corridor. Everything was spotlessly clean and I liked the change from the usual en-suite facilities. My toilet and bathroom were close at hand and nicely appointed. I also had use of a brilliant, spacious and comfortable lounge on the ground floor. The Patron was happy for me to wander around the farm and I was able to greet the fine horses in the adjoining stables. In the morning breakfast was great and was served professionally. The farm is close to busy roads but I couldn't hear anything from inside the building. I stayed here on my way to Hay-on-Wye and wish that I had stayed on the way back instead of trying somewhere else that didn't give me a good night's sleep!

Nothing.

The farmhouse is really lovely and has a gorgeous lounge with large windows. It was easy to find, off a little roundabout. The couple were friendly and welcoming. The house was warm even though it was cold, wet and windy outside. The breakfast very good and freshly cooked. Coffee was great.

The bedroom was a little small and the TV was tiny (difficult to see from the bed. The bathroom and WC were across the corridor. We were told they were just for our own use but anyone else could have used them too

Our stay had a real personal touch by the owners set out in the country with a lovely older couple. Took me back to the days of my grandparents with even the same cups and saucers Breakfast was lovely, cooked so fresh Beds really comfi and Debbie was great offering us clean linen and towels Great lounge area and most of all horses outside the bedroom window this made our stay. So peaceful and different from the normal rat race hotels with no personal touch

Bluebell Farm is a real gem of a place to stay. Ever so easy to find off nearby roundabout. Amazing views of hills on horizon. Ever so friendly couple running it. Would you believe we actually had a lovely tablecloth on table at breakfast time, with lovely mats. Better by far than your standard economy hotels, and much cheaper too. We were woken by horses neighing in stable yard at back and swallows flying over the roof top. Breakfast was cooked to order and very nice it was too. Shower and bedroom were immaculate, and bed had beautiful floral duvet cover on. Just a lovely place to stay and we shall definitely stay again.

All was perfect.

Breakfast was fantastic. Easy to find just off the roundabout. Plenty of parking. Lovely views. Lovely beams and character to the accommodation. Lots of personal photos to see, Great staff, owners.

Head board that knocked and squeaky bed. Door knocking when the windows is open for air, although once chair put against it , it stopped moving and knocking/tapping throughout the night. Toilet and Bathroom across the corridor. If I had young children I wouldn't' be happy with the "Family Room" as it is 2 separate rooms.

The property was rather dark inside but it was a farmhouse with small windows and my room very "compact" but en suite and everything was surprisingly efficient (shower hot and powerful) TV working, WiFi no problems, breakfast was excellent, very tasty, plenty of parking

It might feel a little dated to some people but I think that is part of its charm
