Lovely place to stay when visiting Worcester. Very close to the city centre and Foregate Street Station. Also only 15 minutes walk to Shrub Hill station. Place was in great condition with good facilities and very comfortable. I especially liked the shower.

The only minor complaint I have is that the sensor for the light in the communal areas by the front door isn't great - it didn't trigger the lights to switch on when I first arrived (late evening) so I had to use my phone torch to get from the front door to my room. I guess that might pose a slight security risk too...

We wanted to book in a little earlier than 3pm and were delighted when we were accommodated. The room was called Goldings and was perfect. It was extremely clean, well presented ( loved the decor ), and perfect for a few days away. The bed was very comfy, and we slept well. The shower must also get a mention, it was great. The Hop Merchants House is in a perfect position to visit Worcester, and we found it very quiet. Parking is convenient, just opposite and priced at £12 for 24 hours. However, there are cheaper parking spaces a short walk away.

Just one small thing, there is a fancy microwave oven available to use, and we struggled to operate it without a manual. It might just be our age - hahaha.

This is an exceptionally well-designed apartment with a lovely entrance hall and easy coded access. Ultimate level of cleanliness in all areas. Extremely comfortable bed with crisp high quality bedding. A fantastic boutique kitchen, with microwave & fridge, made it possible for us to eat 'in' after an exhausting journey, with M&S close by... Excellent staff communications via phone. We loved it all!

OK it's on a main road, but the noise is muffled by double glazing so no problem for us + visually we found the adjustable blinds actually made the 'roadhouse kinetics' quite exciting. However, although the 'open bulb' lighting over the bed is really attractive, it's just not great for reading or for isolating the spread of light to your partner who may want to sleep. We have experienced a similar oversight in many of the otherwise excellent places where we have stayed on our travels.

The property was immaculate from the minute we entered through the front door clear directions of passcode and clearly labelled front door

There was everything you could possibly need not only did it look beautiful it was very tasteful but quirky we loved it.Very cleverly thought out the way the kitchenette was at the bottom of the bed with stools placed under the work top.you didn’t need to take anything with you everything was there to use from iron to milk provided in the fridge. The bed was really comfy we slept so well we had to set our alarm to make sure we woke in the morning.Perfect location too.Jackie could teach a few people how to have the perfect Air B n B well done our stay was amazing and we would love to return.

The room was immaculate. It felt as if it had just been refurbished with good colour schemes and decorative touches. In one corner there is a small kitchenette area with basin, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine and bottle fridge (supplied with fresh milk for our arrival). Comfortable bed with good linen. Across the corridor there is access to a pretty roof terrace. There are 2 or 3 coffee shops within a couple of minutes walk and a Tesco Express just around the corner. It is very well located for visiting Worcester with about a five minute walk to the Guildhall, where the tourist office is, and a further five to the Cathedral.

Although very easy to access by foot, the one way system makes it circuitous by car and I do not think Google Maps has it in the right place. Follow the directions which you are given by the owners! Our room overlooked the street and so the view is not great but we were not troubled by noise. The roof terrace is at the back so much more attractive.

The room was spotlessly clean with outstanding in room facilities. I especially liked the smart tv so I could stream from my phone to it. This is a rarity. Everything in the room was designed/decorated to a high spec with an eye for detail. Plush carpeting throughout the building. We were on the top floor directly opposite the outdoor terrace, which was a brilliant added bonus. Fabulous outside seating area with patio heater. Amazing location in the city centre with all local amenities a 1 minute walk away. Parking opposite hotel was very reasonable for 24hrs.

There was nothing to dislike.

Spotless, modern accommodation with kitchenette with coffee machine plus pods and teabags with milk in fridge. Very comfy bed and great to sleep on a mattress that isn't soft. Lovely rooftop terrace with outdoor seating. Great communication with Jackie re parking and access codes. Centrally located so you do expect some traffic noise especially if you have a front facing room, I was in Fuggle on the ground floor. Small SIP car park directly opposite or if you want covered parking then St Martin's Gate is a 6 min walk. Would recommend.

Perhaps some blackout blinds or curtains would be useful as room very bright in the morning due to large window

The owner is accommodating and kind. The hotel is of a very high standard. It is stylish and chic. We slept very well as the location is very quiet and there is good soundproofing. It's very close to the train station/taxi rank, shops cafes and restaurants, and there's a small Tesco just around the corner which is open late. It was brilliant to have a fridge and kitchen area, dining table and sofa, what more could you need for a very comfortable stay. The wood garden is simply stunning and beautifully designed. Enjoyed a coffee there in the sun! We would definitely return next time we're in Worcester!

The Hope Merchants House is immaculate! It is honestly the cleanest, well thought out accommodation I have ever stayed in. Jackie has done an excellent job in designing modern spaces which feel comfortable and spacious with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. The kitchenette was well equipped and bathroom excellent. There is a hairdryer and iron/ironing board provided. Access was simple and the communal entrance welcoming and again, immaculate. There is a lovely roof terrace to enjoy if you have the time too. The car park opposite and central location make this the perfect place to stay if visiting Worcester. I hope to be back one day. Thank you Jackie!

Nothing - it’s perfect

Excellent location. Lovely furnishings, decor and nice and warm.

No shelf or anything to put toiletries on in the bathroom, had to leave them in bedroom. Our room was lovely and comfortable, but no table or chairs. It had 2 stools that you could sit on next to the ‘kitchen ‘ bar, but this then obstructed the door to the bathroom and were not very comfortable. We didn’t pay much less than others in our group whose rooms did have tables and chairs. I advise booking another room. We were in Fuggle.
