The location and most of the breakfast. The jugs of iced water included in the breakfast buffet.

The room was a bit tired with the hangers for clothes in a strange place ( on the bathroom door instead of on the wall next to the shelves). The avocado on toast for breakfast was really terrible, as it had been prepared in advance and the toast was soggy and cold instead of hot and crisp, and the yolks of both poached eggs were hard instead of running over the avocado. Everything else was very nice.

I found the staff extremely friendly. They were able to store my luggage for a few hours prior to check in and were very careful to ensure that my stay would be a comfortable one. The hotel is full of character and has a bar and restaurant attached. For my purposes it ticked all the boxes and I will stay there again. The location could not be better being on the historic and beautiful Friar Street and very close to the Cathedral

Nothing really. Some may feel that the hotel could do with some modernisation, I suppose. But that doesn't bother me. The room was basic but comfortable. You get what you pay for, after all.

Food and service exceptional throughout. Breakfast/dining room and bar area very well presented and comfortably furnished. Staff very pleasant and obliging.

Upstairs in the accommodation itself there is an obvious need for refurbishment with decor, fixtures and fittings in need of some attention. Our allocated room was rather cramped for a double and would be more acceptable as a single room particularly for a stay of more than two nights which was the case for us. Overall this did not detract from our holiday.

Location was fabulous. Breakfast was amazing Bed comfortable and shower was great. A real bonus was Debbie who worked on both reception and served our breakfast. She is an asset to the hotel she was so welcoming and friendly just what tyou need when you have been travelling a long time. She was just the same the next morning at breakfast. Really made our stay very enjoyable.

The hotel itself is in need of a makeover it's clean but really outdated I get it has to stay in character but it just needs a lick of paint and new carpets and furniture.

This is I think the fifth or sixth time I have stayed at this hotel so it is my residence of choice in Worcester, A small but comfortable room with an excellent view onto the historic Friar Street. a very fulsome breakfast which came as part of the deal and it is also good for evening meals (extra). Location is close to the Cathedral and shopping centre. Staff always very friendly and helpful.

Not a lot really. It is a bit of a distance from the rail station but that wasn't a major hindrance.

Great central location, well informed by reception when booking in, what's going on, where to go etc... The website states car park at NCP Car park is two minutes away, it is, literally. It's right next door to the hotel. Good choice at breakfast. Meals in the bar are excellent and fairly good value for money. Rooms are clean and, if you keep the windows shut, quiet. Curtains do keep a lot of light out too.

Stood in the bar waiting to be served, staff walked past me 4 or 5 times and said nothing, until I stopped one of them snd asked to be served. Only then was I informed the bar doesn't actually open for another 15 minutes. Breakfast is good but the poached eggs are not soft (had them twice, so did my partner) on both occasions, the yoke was hard. The room was warm but very noisy if I opened the windows. BUT... Let's face it, if that's all my problems where, it's not too bad is it???

The location was lovely in that the front of this historic inn is virtually opposite the magnificent Cathedral even though unfortunately I did not have time on this occasion to pop in for a browse round. The room I was allocated was very comfortable and very clean. And the breakfast in particular was exceptional. Perhaps above all, the inn's staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Although overall the prices were reasonable, the one thing which on this occasion did spoil the whole experience for me was that, at the last minute, I was unexpectedly given an alternative but more limited evening meal menu to choose from and which did not include any starters and a choice of only two desserts, neither of which particularly appealed to me. Hopefully this was just a one-off aberration.

Breakfast, room and location were great. Staff friendly and helpful, great communication. Location brilliant to explore the city on foot although no on site parking a public car park nearby at reasonable cost

Unfortunately staff training meant that the restaurant was closed on the evening we arrived, although alternatives were available nearby and we were informed by email that the situation had arisen. It is a situation that needs “investigation” for the future to see if there is an alternative way / time for delivering essential training.

Excellent 3 day stay at this pub. Stayed in room 23 - large & spacious, really comfy double bed, big TV , good WiFi signal, all clean & tidy, shower/bath, extremely quiet for a good night's sleep. Every staff member was really nice & helpful (big shout out to Debbie at breaky, she's a star who goes out of her way to make sure all is ok during your stay). Breakfast was included (served 7-9am) and was cooked to perfection with top quality produce used. Location is excellent, in heart of town centre for shops & restaurants, very close to train station & buses, take visit the beautiful cathedral opposite too! I've already booked another stay here for later in the year. Many thanks & keep up the good work 👍

Could fault anything.

Extremely clean rooms, lovely place to stay. Staff really friendly and looked after all my family. We booked 3 double rooms and they were all very nice. Cosy and warm too. We would definitely stay here again. NCP car park is only next door, so we left our car and did lots of walking around Worcester. Breakfast was really nice, lots of choice. Well worth the price we paid, for a town centre hotel. Good homemade food on the day/evening menu. No complaints, all good 👍😊.
