Hotel is superbly placed to explore the City on foot. It is clean and welcoming. Most areas are in great condition with just the mai stairwell showing some wear and tear. Breakfast is usually buffet service but we had a cook to order on one morning as the hotel was quiet - this was lovely and hot. You can request options such as porridge, scrambled/ poached /omelette eggs from a separate menu, which is a nice touch. The spa area is very clean but is only ideal for gentle swimming and relaxing as it is small. Nice jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The gym looks great for machine assisted workouts and there are some free weights and a rack - ideal to keep moving and do basic workouts. Can't fault the room we were in or the staff who were all pleasant and friendly.

Really nit picking now, but hotter coffee at breakfast would be nice. Its quite nice filter coffee but stays in the pot a little too long to stay hot.

A warm, friendly hotel with a spectacular staircase decked out with Christmas decorations. the room was spacious - lots of plug sockets - and quiet as it was on 3rd floor. They do warn you that they often hold events over the weekend so there may be some extra noise, but we did not hear anything on the top floor. They were good enough to transfer our original booking from the weekend before when Storm Darragh meant no transport from Wales. An ideal location opposite the train station.

The only issue is that there is no restaurant over the weekend, and the bar is not open until late afternoon. They do not have a coffee machine so that you could at least have a cuppa while relaxing in their very comfortable lounge/bar area.

A good decision to stay here, for the first time. I was taking photographs for the three days of the Worcester Music Festival, which means a very full day with little time to stop and eat, so the excellent breakfast buffet was a very important part of my stay. The location of the hotel was perfect, with all venues in comfortable walking distance. The private car park at £10 a day was very good value on a busy weekend when public parking is always very crowded - the Worcester 10k and half-marathon are always held at this time. Wi-fi was quick and positive - essential for rapid posting of photos and reviews. I had a very tiring schedule, so the benefits when arriving back in late evening to a comfortable, quiet room to work and then to have an uninterrupted sleep in a very comfortable bed can't be overestimated. The staff were excellent - polite, friendly and very professional. I didn't get a chance to explore the gym facilities but by the sheer number of people using them, I'd say they were very good indeed! I'll definitely be staying here again.

There was nothing of any great note - some parts of the hotel could do with a lick of paint - what hotel doesn't, but that doesn't detract from the positive experience of the overall stay.

Very comfortable room. There was an issue with a broken toilet seat which was fixed really swiftly and by friendly and accomodating maintenance staff. The location was excellent, close to all key amenities and very accessible. Breakfast was good. Appreciated the assistance from helpful Reception staff - Gift, Andrew and Shannon - many thanks.

Room was quite close to boiler so could hear the humming at night but not understandable and really a problem from our perspective but this was the only think we could include as a mild negative although did not detract from an excellent hotel.

The hotel was fairly quiet during the weekend we were there, so we had no problems finding a parking spot. The hotel is in a good location in the town centre but there was little noise. The room was reasonably spacious and comfortable, and the shower was unusually powerful for a hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and there was a good range of food options for breakfast. We didn't try the leisure facilities.

Our friends were in room 121 initially but it suffered from some equipment noise so they had to move room after the first night.

Spacious and beautiful building. Our room was a good size, well furnished with a lovely desk and even a sofa. Great location on the High St, opposite the station. Good range at breakfast buffet. Lift to 1st floor, quite a lot of corridor! Also a step free ramp through the car park to Reception - which they should have told us about but discovered for ourselves! Useful as my hubby uses a walker. Good lounge facilities.

The room got very warm and the fan didn't really help. Rooms at the front of the building can get really hot too. The first night there were extremely loud flocks of screaming seagulls, unfortunately, happens in other UK towns too!

Rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. There is plenty of storage space within the room. Check-in was simple and quick. Rooms had plenty of sockets, usb chargers and came with iron and board, safe, hairdryer and toiletries. Parking was very handy and secure with barrier entry and exit. But I would suggest getting there at a decent time to guarantee a space without paying the £20 for a guaranteed one. The swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub were nice to relax in, even though a little smaller than in the pictures. Handy central location, right opposite Forgate Street station, and some cracking cafés, restaurants, and bars. Staff were excellent. Excellent value for money all in all.

Leisure facilities could've done with some freshening up, new and updated changing rooms needed, and a few bits of trim missing from the steam room doors. Floors seemed to stay wet at all times, no proper drainage. Definitely wear flip flops/pool footwear when in and around the changing rooms and around the pool area. Tv in the room was not connected to the Internet, unable to screen share or connect device to TV. Couldn't use the streaming Apps on the TV at all. But free view worked okay.

Staff, location, cleanliness and comfort.

I felt the hotel decoration and carpets looked slightly tired, also the pool area looked like it needed a little a little tlc. But I'm being very picky here, it was the only downside and didn't detract from our enjoyment. Only menthioning it as an area that could be improved. I also felt that the parking should be included in the price, so was a little surprised to be asked to pay extra. I booked via booking.com and requested hotels with parking.

Me and my daughter have stayed here before for an overnight shopping trip - love the place! Perfect location as literally over the road from Foregate Street train station, and only a minute's walk into town. Beautiful old building, very grand, and lovely staff. The room was comfortable with plenty of space and places to sit and put things. Perfectly clean, gorgeous bathroom too. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets, crisp clean sheets, plenty of plug / USB sockets by each bed :)

The only imperfect thing was that the room was stifling hot when we arrived - we had to turn the heating off and open the window! I can see that's a hard thing to gauge though, with our weather being so unpredictable!

Great location being so close to Worcester Foregate Street rail station. Very friendly staff welcome on arrival answering all of my queries. Nice clean room with plenty of towels. Ample tea/coffee making facilities and a TV that worked. Wi-fi easy to access. If you like a grand staircase for making an entrance, this hotel has certainly got one.

Rather large duct outside window which seemed to give a constant pitch sound that was very noticeable when trying to sleep (remedied with earplugs).
