Staff were excellent despite working very long shifts, especially Terry who was excellent with all guests especially watching him with the elderly and regulars. The mattress and pillows were amazing, best sleep I have had away from home for a very long time. Reasonable prices and excellent food. Steyne Gardens is on the doorstep and the seafront a hundred yards away, ideal for the Worthing Carnival and restaurants to suit every taste within 10 mins tops. Definitely booking there next time we go to Worthing :-).

Location is perfect for access to Worthing promenade, restaurants, shops etc, all walking distance. Easy access to bus services, for visiting other towns on the coast. Gardens adjacent to Hotel gave us a “Mini” car rally, and then Worthing food festival.

Car Parking is a slight problem. No on-site parking is available. Street parking has to be paid for via the hotel for all day parking, or via meter for 2 hours max. This is only good if you can find a “space”! Parking is due to change, as per notices displayed on the street.

The Ardington Hotel is a jewel of a hotel located just off the seafront in Worthing. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the breakfast is superb and the restaurant is so good I ate there for both nights of my stay. The room was clean and comfortable and they handled my request to upgrade from single to a double with great courtesy and efficiency. I'm surprised at it's 3 * rating, in my view it should be 4 * and I've stayed in a few that weren't comparable to this.

Honestly, I would struggle to find fault with this hotel. I was staying alone and the staff were extremely sociable especially the lady in the restaurant on a Saturday night who had only been working there for a short time. Unfortunately I didn't get her name.

Staff were fantastic. Super friendly and polite. Nice bar which we were able to sit in for a few jars.

I was asked to swap my room to a single as a couple had been given a single rather than a double. I was on my own so I felt like I could, but even with a partial refund, over £100 for a single room is a bit ridiculous. We were leaving very early on the Sunday and thus there was no cooked breakfast available for us, which was disappointing. The staff did make a huge effort to accommodate us by having cereal, toast, juice and coffee ready. However, for overall value a single room and no cooked breakfast made it seem not great value.

The location is within staggering distance of the Seafront & Pier plus there's a smallish tree lined Park fronting the Hotel. Bearing in mind the Hotel has a Three Star Rating, attention to detail was evident - excellent restaurant with good menu presentation even for a 'lite bite', clean and comfortable room. Bearing in mind I had booked 'On the Run' it's not often I stay in a place on Business that I'd be happy taking my Wife back to for a leisurely weekend.

Check in to check out, the staff were very cordial, helpful and efficient. Loved the location, the spacious room and street views. Although the room was a little dated, I felt like it contributed to the overall charm of my stay! The breakfasts were very well prepared and presented. Had one supper meal... and it was very good also.

Bar service could have been a little faster... I believe two persons should be tending to those services at morning and lunch as well as afternoons and evening busier times. The coffee service at those times seem to slow down the whole bar process.

Staff were amazingly friendly and the Hotel just yards from Worthing Seafront and the promenade. Perfect location to explore Worthing and the surrounding locations along the coast. The hotel is exceptionally well maintained filled with historic charm. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast delicious.

The hotel doesn't have it's own parking and whilst there is street parking right outside, it is both busy and expensive. We ended up driving to a local multi-storey car park and leaving the car, which did make sus wonder if it would be safe. As it turns out the car was fine but then we do drive an old banger.

We had an excellent stay at the Ardington Hotel. It’s a lovely building in a great location - the room and all areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean. The owner is friendly and charming and makes for a very hospitable stay at the hotel. The breakfast was good and was served every day by very friendly and efficient staff. We hope to return and we would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Worthing.

Having read some of the reviews I was expecting a tired old seaside hotel. However I found the hotel to be really nice comfortable and a very good location. I would love to be able to return and bring my pet dog although I know that the hotel is a neon pet hotel, having spoken to the receptionist she said it might be possible if I spoke to the owner which I will do so as I would love to return a couple more times this summer as I am looking to possibly move to the area next year?

There wasn’t really anything I could think of

The service was exceptional, the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable and the morning breakfast was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay and would happily book again when visiting our friends or when taking a break by the coast.

There was absolutely nothing I would complain about.
