We loved the location we stayed in the executive suite it was so big and super comfy bed . Bathroom was stunning loved the decor, but what stood out to us was the exceptional customer service from the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. A shout out to Sharon who greeted us with a friendly smile she was very friendly and professional a real credit to your establishment there was also another lady sorry I didn’t ask your name petite with fab glasses also very professional and friendly .and a real plus for your hotel Reception desk staff also . Breakfast was very tasty . We would recommend a stay here you will not be disappointed. Everything is spit on . We will be back .

Really can’t think of anything that we didn’t like .

The location was excellent, directly on the beach. The breakfast was very good indeed. The hotel has many nice rooms but - since I was only by myself - I had a very small room - which was clean but not really comfortable. So, I would suggest that single visitors should request a more comfortable and larger room. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful but the room could have been better and provide a better view to the ocean.

I do understand that a hotel must have different qualities of room, but my room was really too small in comparison to the bill. I also did not understand that booking com took money from my credit card without passing it to the hotel.I am used for bookings to pay directly to the hotel when leaving.Something fishy, I think. Next time I will make my bookings directly at the hotel and not with booking.com since I did not like this procedure.

Spacious twin room. Comfortable bed. Good ensuite. All looks recently refurbished - nicely done. Good assortment of teas, coffee etc. Plenty of towels and soap, shampoo etc. 24 hr reception. Varied choice for breakfast. Good location. Staff friendly and efficient.

Hall and stair carpet desperately needs replacing but I assume this is part of the ongoing refurbishment. No parking on-site although could park reasonably close. Parking permit available from hotel for £5 for 24 hours. Would like to see this clearly advertised when booking to avoid unnecessarily purchasing a ticket from the roadside ticket machine for 4hours at a time.

Perfectly located overlooking the seafront and just a short stroll from the town centre. The spacious room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was gleaming, recently refurbished and equipped with high end fittings and a plentiful supplies of good quality toiletries. There was a good choice of hot and continental breakfast which was freshly cooked and table served by polite and friendly staff. Reception staff were all very professional and welcoming.

Apparently no disabled access to the property meant our wheelchair bound relative couldn’t visit during our stay.

The staff were, without exception, lovely. The real overarching strength of the hotel. The restaurant was very good. One can tell that real care has gone into procuring ingredients for both the dinner menu and breakfast. The bar staff were both knowledgeable with wine suggestions and could deliver an exceptional 'Old Fashioned'; what's not to like?

I really don't have anything negative to add. If being picky, my fairly small, single room looked out onto a blank wall, but I'd booked a cheap, single room, so it isn't really a valid criticism.

Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room was a good size, well decorated and clean. Uninterrupted views of the sea. Ate in hotel restaurant on first night and meal was very good. Freshly prepared. A very good cooked breakfast, worth the cost for the convenience and quality. Again food was hot and freshly cooked, not left sitting on a hot plate. Great location away from busy town but close enough to walk to. Beach directly opposite. Short drive or bus ride to Brighton. This is our third visit to this hotel. Will definitely book again when next visiting area.

Parking restrictions have recently changed in local area. Though there is ample on street parking close to hotel, there are time limits of 2 or 4 hours max stay. Fine for one night stay but not if you want to leave your car for the day. Though there is longer stay a bit further away.

The rooms were clean, and had plenty of tea, coffee etc. Excellent choice of food for breakfast served by really helpful staff. The bed in one of the rooms was really hard but the other two were fine.

One room, a small double was poorly laid out, only one mirror which was nowhere near the dressing table or plugs, and was too high for a shorter person to be able to see. No full length mirror which is essential for dressing. There was a really small tv in the room which for a person with poor eyesight would really struggle with.

The room was lovely very clean comfortable bed had a really good nights sleep.

Breakfast was a disaster. There was a young lady at the breakfast room bar no other staff. I order a full English without beans and a poached egg with coffee and juice. I went to help myself from the continental breakfast, there were no bowls for fruit or cereal, the chopped fruit bowl was empty. I asked for more bowls and they did get brought out. I thought coffee would arrive shortly, after 25 minutes I had to ask another staff member about my breakfast. I did get my coffee shortly afterwards but after waiting a total of 50 minutes and other guests getting their breakfast I had to ask again for my food. Another couple also had a long wait. I think it may have been the Manager she was very apologetic but it really spoilt the stay. The food was absolutely delicious when it arrived.

Classic grand old seafront hotel with a bit of faded glory but a lot of modern makeovers inside. Extensive breakfast menu all freshly cooked to order. Nice modern bar with some outside seating. Good location within very easy walking distance along the promenade to the pier area.

No car park although the on street car parking turned out to be very easy and plentiful. The exterior needs some work so the Seaview room turned out to have its view across an old unusable balcony, but the room was huge and had a nice modern en-suite bathroom.

We stayed here the night before and the night of our wedding. Great space for getting ready in, super light, great facilities, great view of the sea from four huge windows.

I couldn't get the shower temp hot, so I had a refreshing shower. I heard a few other guests say the same, so perhaps something wrong with the temp that day. I didn't mind too much as it was a really warm day. Not anything to do with the hotel, but because the room had windows on both sides, you get a bit of traffic noise. There was a shredding van running its engine for an hour at 5 am. I was up anyway, but worth being aware of if you're a light sleeper.
