Room was ample for my husband and I, we had no guests. pool area is beautiful, it's like a tropical island! bar person was very nice and professional, also accommodating, I don't remember her name, sorry, room could use more sturdy night stands, they almost tipped over. The area is fine, but when there is a concert, it gets a little loud and congested, but didn't bother us, kind of like having a free concert! Front desk staff also helped with the room since my husband is slightly Hadi capped and doesn't do stairs well, she put us near a ramp, we really appreciated that!

No dislikes that could be helped, the room was clean, people were nice, the planes that occasionally go over are loud, not always, but when they do...wow. but wouldn't stop us from staying again!

Nice pool and firepit lounging area. Restaurant and lounge were great, loved the live music. Garden area was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Room had a musty smell, peeling wallpaper, lights that didn't work or missing switches and low water pressure. However, it was clean and comfortable.

The location was perfect and the staff very friendly. We had a ground floor room which was great as we had 6 bags and didn't have to carry them upstairs. Being able to park outside the room was also a bonus. The facilities in the kitchen were excellent but didn't do them justice as was only staying one night. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast, and the service was very good.

The accommodation was expensive and paying over $130 for a four hour late check out I also thought was on the high side especially as it was so quiet. Didn't like being charged a post Covid 5% fee in the restaurant so I took it out of the tip. The room was a little tired and needed decorating as there were water stains on the ceilings. The room above must have had water leaks.

This hotel was beautifully done on the inside and outside! As someone who loves Hawaii it was very enjoyable to be able to relax by the fire pit, listening to Polynesian music, surrounded by a beautiful tropical landscape. My husband and I were there to attend a show at the restaurant and so the location was perfect! That staff at the restaurant/venue was amazing and we had a great time at the show!

When we arrived we were able to check in with no problems, but the women working the front desk was a bit off putting. The only other thing we were disappointed about, although not the properties fault, was there was a somewhat large group of teens/young adults monopolizing the pool/ hot tub. The pool and hot tub looked so nice we were really hoping to be able to use them but it was just too loud and crowded. Bad timing I suppose!

Great location, great restaurant. Easy parking. Outdoor amphitheater hosts music concerts. Live entertainment in the bar. Great views of the harbor and yacht anchorage. Nice ambiance, this is not a sterile high-rise tower.

Its necessary to adjust to the fact that the airport is very nearby and therefore there is a good amount of aircraft noise, as departing planes are passing almost overhead. The good news is that there is a curfew, so the planes do not fly late at night or early in the morning. But if you want to nap during the day, bring earplugs.

ADA parking was a miss. There was only one handicapped parking space in the lot nearest our room (which was an ADA room). Older hotel but the room was clean and very comfortable. Rowdy upstairs neighbors threw trash and bottles onto our patio and it was not cleaned up. The view was wonderful and the landscape was tropical. For my husband's birthday. He liked it so well, he booked an additional night.

The grounds were beautiful! It was reminiscent of a stay in Hawaii. I especially loved the 2 parrots, the Koi and the family of ducks. Very relaxing for a 3-day get-away! Several near-by restaurants including the restaurant at the hotel that was quite good. Very close proximity to the San Diego Zoo. A true treasure!

The room could have been a little larger. But, it was certainly adequate. The bathroom and the area where the coffee maker and refrigerator were, was a nice plus.

Interior courtyard and pool area are spectacular. Lush, well-kept, comfortable - large pool too. We felt like we were really on a resort vacation and that was an unplanned outcome. Location is perfect and we enjoyed walking out to Friendship Bell. Short walk to Bali Hai for our SD event. The restaurant is terrific - two great breakfasts with fine service and ambiance. With the 20% hotel guest discount, it was great value. Would definitely stay here again. On checkout we were told our wing is scheduled for upgrade - but it was fine as is. A plus: at check-in we were given the map and choice of rooms with explanation of pro's and con's. We opted for second floor room facing garden. No balcony but more private. Also lots of seating in the garden patio.

The property is absolutely GORGEOUS. Lots of green and palm trees, gives a very tropical vibe and looks as if you’re out the country at a resort. The pool is saltwater which adds to that tropical vibe and the fire pit area is GORGEOUS with I believe 4 different areas to lounge and sit at. The grounds are STUNNING all around. Everything beautiful. Rooms are simply wonderful. Big bathrooms, nice shower heads with good water pressure. Nice lighting. The fans and lights are on a slider so you can dim and slow the lights and fans. The bedside lamp has a touch base and my kids were obsessed. The best part of the room was the VIEW!!! We had a second floor room with a balcony and I loved the wooden window doors that slid open to reveal the glass sliding store. Truly was a great view every morning waking up to the sun shining through those wooden doors. I had a great stay

Some of the rooms (only about 5 or 6 I was told) do not come with tubs. Only a standing shower. That’s fine if you aren’t traveling with small children

Our stay was very comfortable. We enjoyed our time on the balcony watching the sunset and marina area. We walked a lot in the area, enjoyed some places to eat and the walk to the end of Shelter Island. The grounds are beautiful and gave a nice ambience to the fireside terrace. The tropical landscape made it feel like we were on an island vacation. We enjoyed a breakfast and dinner at the restraunant. I would definetely stay here again!

The inside of the closet area needed to be vacuumed. Other than that the suite was superb!
