I loved everything about this place. The suite was clean, fresh, well lit. My bed was so comfortable. I stayed there four nights, I think. Anyway, a longer time than normal for me and it was so good every night. The bathroom was clean and I appreciated the size. It was large and spread out so you did not feel as though you were being put into a sardine can. The breakfasts were very good. There was always muffins, breads, juices, and cereal. The warm entree was different each day, well except when I asked for scrambled eggs two days in a row. The hostess said that was doable. I appreciated her effort. She was so nice. I truly wish I could remember her name. Overall, this was an amazing place to park your butt for an extended stay.

I don't believe anything could have been better. I truly did not find anything amiss about this place. I would highly recommend this place for anyone traveling.

The location is WINDERFUL, super close to everything. I like that it's safe for single travelers.

I have always had a wonderful stay at any Homewood Suites but this time the room was missing blankets, there were no tissues, and the thermostats didn't work. The staff were very accommodating and happily gave me what I needed, but the housekeeping dept. should make sure this is done. Also, it may just be my preference, but when you aren't traveling with children, the reservation staff should group families on 1 floor and single or couple travelers on another floor, preferably above those traveling with children. Just a thought.

We appreciate the complimentary upgrade. Very spacious room. Beds were very comfortable. Decent restaurant in the same parking lot. Free parking. Quality shampoo and soap. Convenient to drive to the airport. Decently sized indoor pool. Great to get in a real swim before a long flight.

Breakfast had a good selection, however the hot food choices were marginal. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was one of the cleanest places we have stayed in a long time. The people were very friendly and the guests were too.

The cost of the items in the little store were a bit ridiculous but that would be my only complaint.

Loved this hotel! Stayed here last year prior to our annual "girls' weekend" in old orchard. This hotel is so clean, comfortable, and centrally located to all the good shopping in that area. Will always stay at the Homewood Suites in Portland when I'm in town!

Nothing, absolutely love everything about this hotel.

We stayed for family vacation. Two great restaurants (kid friendly) border the hotel parking lot. Hotel is 15 minutes from Scarborough beach, Old Orchard Beach and Portland with plenty to do nearby. Having laundry on site and a small kitchen were very convenient. Our suite was roomy and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant.

The suite concept was perfect for our mixed group with elderly parent and pet. We had a king one bedroom suite which allowed us to be together and have privacy at the same time.

Wish they'd clean the rooms more than once a week, at least sweeping and vacuuming. Staff were generally great, except for one rude older maintenance man that would stand and watch us while we were in the pool and hot tub, without saying anything to us, that was uncomfortable- I did let the front desk person know

A/C needed to be attended to. Room 112. Did not like the fact that you needed to stay 7 days to qualify for housekeeping- that is just not right!
