Comfortable room, close to everything.

No big deal but the main curtain doesn't close but we just used a clip to shut them.for privacy!

This is my second time staying here. The staff is very nice. I requested a room on the first floor because I’m small and I had a heavy suitcase. They didn’t have one for me but offered to carry my suitcase up the stairs. The staff seemed very friendly. At one point I came back and the owners were planting flowers or something on the grounds. They take good care of the property. My room was comfortable. The one thing was that my bathroom faucet kept tripping. I had to move the handle very carefully to get it to stop every time I used it. I just wanted to place to stay so I could visit the parks and stuff for a little getaway. It’s not luxurious, but it’s what you would expect from a motel, and the price is right!

The location was good for my visit. I didn't try the breakfast. I needed to eat on the road!

A friend joined me later, and although we had told the front desk that she would be coming in after 11 pm, they called to tell her they were closing the front desk at about 11:10 and reluctantly provided a phone number for her to call when she got there. Obviously "after 11 pm" meant 1 minute after. And the cleaning people go really hard on the Pinesol!

Staff was friendly. Due to health issues we needed a first floor room . I called ahead and they accommodated my request. We were appreciative of the help. As always with reviews, I am hesitant of them…so I read to see if I can live with what the reviewer find as negative aspects. The recent reviews posted were pretty spot on. The location was great, beds and pillows comfortable, the room was clean and the bathroom was spacious. The outside looked fine and well kept. There were ample towels. Yes, the soap is a bit rough, the folks upstairs seem to stomp when they walk and the shower next door could be heard in the bathroom. No of these things were issues for us. Honestly the only issue we had was the light bulb near the tub and shower was burnt out. I could have called the office but we just dealt with it as we were tired. I would stay here again.

Clean convenient to my medical appointment, wicked comfortable beds with nice pillows...has fridge and microwave (sorry I forgot my half a sandwich in the fridge) Staff was very accommodating to get us a first floor room. Was very quiet. Excellent value for the price...

Could use a night light and/or light switch next to the bathroom door for nighttime bathroom visits.

The room and bathroom were super clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. The place had everything we needed. Even though it was close to busy Route 1, the room was pretty sound-proof. Once the door was closed you didn't really hear the traffic sounds.

Light in bathroom was odd. One ceiling light kept going off. Lighting over the sink was bright and harsh.

The owner was so kind to help me unload my bags as I had just had a medical procedure and was in extreme pain. He also placed me in a handicapped room which was so helpful as I walk with a crutch and have balance and pain issues. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud.

I did use a blanket that was in the closet. This blanket smelled like smoke, even though my rental was a non smoking area. I know the owner must be extremely busy, but the blanket needs a wash that gets rid of smoke odor.

The location was excellent. It is so very close to a medical facility where I often have medical procedures. I loved the pretty entrance and the staff were very friendly. The room was so comfortable and the bed was like sleeping in a cloud.

I liked everything about this hotel. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Location was great, close to Old Orchard Beach and to Portland. Right off Route 1 but in a quiet neighborhood around houses. Very clean and comfortable room. Staff we interacted with were pleasant and polite. Breakfast was simple, few cereals and fruit available.

Shampoo, conditioner and soap provided but not greatest quality. Not really an issue if you bring your own. Area in general tends to have expensive rates in summer.

No rush time I had the check out time wrong I was thinking it was 11 like most hotels but it was for 10 ... never did they knock or call the room and it was already after 10:30 I had to call to confirm the time and they still was very pleasant and didn't rush

Everything was well kept no complaints
