It was all in all a very appropriate location in proximity to Pittsburgh and at an appropriate price for a place to take a shower and to get a good night's sleep. At the end of the day, most traveler's visit an area not for the hotel or but for the local attractions and for me in particular, I just want a clean, safe place to park myself overnight. This was the right place at the right cost.

Minor thing... The offer included a breakfast but the breakfast really was just a choice of a few granola bars, some muffins, some hot cereal selections, coffee; however no juice, no eggs or waffles, no toast, etc. as is typical of a true breakfast offer.

We liked the peacefulness in the area, close access to public transportation, and friendliness in the building. Cleanliness was up to standards!

The only thing I didn't like was the receptionist when we checked in. Her attitude in particular. She had a beyond quiet speaking voice. Just by simply asking if she can speak louder annoyed her.

Our stay at Extended Stay America in West Mifflin, PA went smoothly. The front desk staff all were very accommodating of all of our requests and needs, especially Martell. Our first-floor, pet-friendly room was easily accessible and convenient. The room was spacious and comfortable, and having a kitchenette with plates, cups, bowls, utensils, and pots and pans provided made for easy and quick meal preparation and cooking!

The room was a bit larger than I expected and that was a pleasant surprise! Also the location was quiet. I needed the tranquility and I certainly was not disappointed!

Well, the refrigerator was not functioning at it's optimal capacity. The freezer was perfect, but the lower portion was just a tad above room temperature. As I was not staying very long, I didn't want to trouble the staff regarding replacing it. So, this is not so much a negative, in a sense. Equipment break down from time to time, right?

The front desk staff is so friendly! They really connected with us, especially my kids.

The grab and go breakfast is lackluster at best. I wish there were more options. I have to go get fast food for breakfast every morning.

People at front desk were very nice and friendly. The room was spotless and very nice. Great price and will stay there again.

There was a young gentleman on the elevator with us with a vacuum. He had no shirt or shoes on. He did work there because he spoke to the lady at the front desk and then went in back. I'm taking off one point. This is no reflection whatsoever on the staff I was in contact with. They were wonderful.

Every day at 3am the person above us walked very heavily back and forth in the room. Not sure what they were doing in such a small confined area but it was nonstop. We thought BigFoot was in the room above us. It woke my family and myself up every day. At check out informed the person behind the counter of what was happening to us. She said she would call that room and let them know that a noise complaint was made.

The room provided nice amenities and was very cozy.

The carpet could have been cleaner but I also realize it is the end of winter too. The breakfast area needed to be wiped off, it was evening when we arrived and it was dirty then.

We liked having a small kitchen in the room, but maybe the hotel could rent or sell small pots and pans. Sorry, I don’t pack those items when I’m traveling.

A lady was checking in and didn’t have her I’d. Apparently the staff member checking her in told her she could find someone to use their Id,and let her have the room the lady laid for. Sorry , I see this as a serious problem. The clerk shouldn’t have told that lady that. What if the lady that forgot her Id was using a stolen credit card or illegal activity in that room. It would come back to who ever used their Id. She watched that lady ask me and she got mad when I told her no.
