Check in was fast and easy and the staff was very nice. Great location easy to find and the parking was free and very accessible. There was a shuttle that we used once and the driver was very friendly.. The AC unit cooled the room very quickly we even had to turn it down it got really cold in the room; amazing! The room was very clean and supplied well. Great place to stay; thanks so much!

The Continental breakfast was ok but would have liked eggs or a little more protein. They had a gentleman preparing waffles and pancakes he did a good job. Can't complain it was free and very accommodating

Be prepared to be in a maze! It was a very comfortable, nice hotel with a shuttle to the nearby restaurant because of the rain. The guy who drove the shuttle (Scott, I think) was sweet and helpful. The front desk was helpful. There is a parking garage if you want it and a beautiful view of the mountain/hill. The hotel is a challenge to navigate, but there is plenty of help. The rooms are nice and everything is clean. There is an outside balcony, etc.

For such a nice casino type hotel, the breakfast is not good. The waffle machines were down and you had to wait in a line to heat the semi-frozen eggs.

Fairly convenient walk to the arena, quiet for the most part. Fridge, microwave and Keurig came in handy. Large room to spread out and relax. AC worked great even on super hot days.

Location may not be for everyone. It’s a hike up the hill and then several stairs to Building 3 when walking, noisy in the room when people were talking or warming up their trucks, motorcycles on the parking deck right outside the window. Front desk staff civil, but not friendly, long summer I guess.

Breakfast could have had more selection and the quality could have been higher. Adding Meat (Bacon, Sausage, and Ham) and a choice of potato (hash browns) would make a great difference. Offering scrambled eggs instead of Egg Omelets, getting rid of the muffin mixes in a cup and replace with real muffins, adding fresh fruit, and getting new beverage machines (ensuring lines are replaced and water is filtered( would make a big difference as well. Also Get rid of the sausage, egg, and cheese muffins...gross.

Clean facilities. Friendly staff. Breakfast needed more options. Nice comfortable bed. Good sized bathroom. Our room faced the front of the hotel and only had a curtain on the window. At night, the room was VERY light. A blackout shade would definitely be an asset to front facing windows! Keurig coffee pot, small fridge and microwave in room.

That the staff was friendly. and even took time to actually remember our names. and our group of friends that joined us for the stay. and we're more than helpful when we were needing cabs and info for breakfast also.

The only down side, was the breakfast in the hotel itself didn't have any meat offered. but the rest of the breakfast was good. and the neighbor restraunt down the hill. had an awesome breakfast though.

Excellent breakfast. Very good location in Deadwood a couple of blocks north of the heart of downtown, with its many small casinos and bars.

The hotel advertised a guest laundry in their description, but we learned from the front desk there is none. They said there was a laundromat a couple blocks north of the hotel but also warned us that but they had heard reports it wasn't very clean. We ended up doing laundry at a laundromat in Lead, SD a couple of miles south of the hotel.

Parking was great. Breakfast included was okay, good enough we didn't have to buy breakfast out, so always a positive. Hotel seemed very clean. Nice to have a refrigerator in the room. We were on the back side of the hotel (away from the highway), so room was very quiet.

The room was very small, didn't have a bedside table on my side of the bed (I use a CPAP), so had to use one of the dining chairs for my "table". The seating on the little patio area was very limited. It's too bad the trolley doesn't stop at this property, but it isn't too far of a walk to Cadillac Jacks where we could catch the trolley.

The breakfast was fine, not difficult to get to. Choices of food were OK, but the fourth morning we did go to a restaurant for breakfast. The times are changing and while they didn't service our room during our 4 night stay, the staff made it simple to obtain any supplies, etc. that we needed. In a way, we liked it better than the "old days" because we didn't have to vacate the room every day while someone came in to straighten up. It was simpler and more convenient to just do it ourselves!

There isn't much we didn't like.

this is a very nice place to stay. And when I checked in Christian was so polite and makes you feel welcome. they do their best to make sure your stay is pleasant.

they could change up breakfast once in a while. like have biscuits and gravy or bacon and sausage. individual cups of yogurt instead of scooping out of a big container. maybe have individual packages of rolls or doughnuts.
