The room (142) was pleasantly laid out. The stream was great white noise and covered completely the sound of the nearby coaster. The beds were comfortable. There were snacks and coffee in the lobby. We got 20% off the 2 neighboring restaurants. We tried the Atrium, which served delicious, generous breakfast. In fact, it beat the local Flapjack Houses hands down. The room service is: you set out your soiled linens and trash in the morning, and the housekeeper leaves fresh linens/toiletries/trash bags in a bag on your door each day. The room stays as neat as you are accustomed to living. There was a small coffee pot that we used each morning in the room.

The pillows are generous in number, but collapse away from supporting your head gradually, and you wake up with a neck ache. Our AC was bad about kicking off and not wanting to turn back on.

The jacuzzi was clean but not good enough so for future stays in a room with one I will ask for cleaning supplies to clean my way LOL!

Loved most the river that runs through it. It’s all you can hear, blocks out all traffic. It’s like you’re in the woods. I’ve never experienced a motel like that. If you have kids, they have some space to explore. I also liked the view from the pool. There was a private hot tub for the few rooms at the top of the property. It’s not a new place, if that’s what you’re looking for, look somewhere else. If you are looking for something more than a nights sleep, check this place out. Can’t wait to take my grandkids!

I was in 353, I believe it was? There was a fireplace in there, I think that’s what caused the kind of musty smell. I’d ask for a room without one next time.

I did not have super high expectations to be honest, but were happily surprised when we arrived. It is not a newer property by any means, and that is evident in the property. However, the room's accommodations served the purpose and things were clean. It was quaint. The location was fantastic...right on the strip and easily accessible to all the local attractions.

I can't really think of anything in particular. We asked if there was any possible way to have a check-out at 1:00 instead of 12:00, and they said there were absolutely no late checkouts. That was a tad frustrating, but I do understand their policy.

The location of the hotel in Gatlinburg was excellent. Within walking distance to downtown attractions/restaurants. Even though the hotel was in an excellent location, when you are on the property of the hotel it was very quiet and relaxing! Enough parking and in great locations based on your room location. Felt secure and safe. Indoor pool was excellent since 2 of our days were rainy. The hotel is right on the river with balconies hanging right over the river. The sound was so relaxing and the view was incredible!

The grab and go breakfast could have had a little more variety.

The staff was very helpful. The location is walking distance to the center. Very very nice the trolley root is right ther This is an old style hotel that they've kept very well up with. And I think it's worth every penny. The fact that your balcony hangs over the stream is an added touch, I would highly recommend it to people, but if you're looking for certain things, you may not be impressed because again, it's been there for in their family for generations of eighty years.

The bathroom is smaller than you would exthat's alike.

Larry at the front desk was great, he gave us a super room in a perfect location. We love being right over the river and the indoor pool was a perfect temperature and SO clean and the hot tub-yes!

We have always loved Zoders for the "extras"; wine and cheese, cookies and milk and the little morning breakfast-none of which are available at this time. Zoders is still hanging on to covid excuses and probably not enough employees which seems to be the current affliction for so many businesses now. We still like Zoders but will probably look for a new place to stay for our Gatlinburg getaways.

Convenience, cleanliness, courtesy of the staff. Although located just off the parkway, it is a quiet location. The balcony is an actual balcony with room to sit and relax.

The temperature of the hot water in the bath was lukewarm at best, although the temperature of the water in the sinks was very hot. The scald limiter in the bath was set incorrectly, the remedy should be an easy fix. The front desk was very receptive of the complaint, unlike some other hotels in Gatlingburg that I will not mention.

The location was great. We were able to walk into Gatlinburg. The staff was great and even let us park our car on the lot before we checked in so we could walk around town. The suite was spacious and had plenty of room for the large party we had. Our favorite part was the balcony overlooking the small creek. It was very peaceful.

Our only complaints were the internet was hit and miss and the dish washer backed up the only time we used it. However, there had been a huge downpour the night before so it wasn't the hotel's fault. It wasnt enough the keep us from staying again though.

If you’re wanting the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg, I would definitely recommend this property. It’s right in the middle of it all! You can park on site, although the small parking deck we were assigned to use was too squished for us to comfortable fit our midsize suv in. But they had an open lot we parked in. The suite was very large and felt like a good apartment, with a gas fireplace. The two bedrooms were separated completely for privacy, but the living room and eating area is a good place to join back together with your friends/ family. The suite was clean and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the balcony which overlooks the little river in back. The suite was definitely enough room for our family of 6.

Could definitely be more updated and aesthetically pleasing. Our large suite’s walls were almost completely bare, but I imagine they probably deal with people damaging property, so why decorate the walls, ya know? Also could use some extra blankets or thicker blankets on the beds.
