good location. Big bed. Breakfast was included. Pool was a definite highlight and cocktails by the pool too. I generally liked staying here and It was my most expensive accomodation this trip and I'd rate it higher if not for the "mould issue".

It has to be said that my room: ROOM 2003 probably has a black mould issue as I can smell it after living in houses in Australia with the issue. They need to tear apart that bathtub and check it as I'm pretty sure the mould is living around the bath tub. Its not silicon moulded around the edges and water would leak into those gaps and its the right environment for black mould. Very bad. HUGE ISSUE for me. I couldn't be bothered complaining so I shut the bedroom door when I slept but I didnt like it one bit. For such a premium sort of accomodation - I found it totally unacceptable. So.. silkotel needs to ensure their rooms are properly cleaned. That bathtub...

great location easy walk to the river cute local market across the road and central market about a 12 minute walk. bright rooms great water pressure in shower

the fitness center treadmill wasn’t working correctly no balls to stretch on a few more hand weights would be useful. the room could use independent reading lights better light switches. a towel rail for hanging and drying things. but all really very nice i sill return

Staff wonderful, room was lovely, breakfast was great value. 2 pools, happy hour 4-6 buy 1 get one free. 2 min walk to old town, close walking distance to night markets, river, restaurants & coffee shops. Easy access for transport & grab. Even the sky's gave us a great view. We loved our stay & would certainly recommend. Thank you Silkotel for making our stay that little bit more special ❤️

Mattress was a little firm for my liking and could do with a mattress topper, but it was not an issue.

This hotel ticked all of our boxes! It was in a great location, it was great value for money and the staff were super friendly/helpful. The hotel had 2 pools which were stunning, the option to use their bicycles for free and extras like a buffet breakfast. The variety of food was fab and the hotel room itself was also clean and tidy. I would recommend the Silkotel to anyone travelling to Hoi An.

I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. We were surprised it wasn’t a 5 star resort. The city itself was captivating so if we ever come back to Vietnam we will for sure rebook this hotel.

Everything was fantastic at The Silkotel Hotel &Spa. Their attention to detail makes it a hotel a cut above the rest. The staff from the moment you step out of your transport, to reception, pool, restaurant and room cleaning services were efficient, welcoming and happy. The location really suited us as it was only metres from the entrance to the Old Town and with free bikes it was easy to ride to the beach but a free shuttle was also available. We noticed how courteous they were to some of the more difficult guests even when they didn’t deserve it. They take great pride in keeping the hotel and grounds spotless. We were delighted with our choice of hotel and look forward to returning. Highly recommended and Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable. 🌸😘

It's very central and we can walk everywhere. It looked very pretty with all the Christmas decorations, lanterns and lights and the staff are excellent. It's our second stay at the hotel and we will hopefully be back in the future.

There was not anything we did not like at the hotel, sadly it was the rainy season so stopped us walking as far as we may have done had it been good weather. Will chose the time of year better next time when it's the dry season.

Everything about this place was perfect. The staff were incredibly kind, the two pools were both of a very high standard. Breakfast was also very, very good. Overall this was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Vietnam. The location is ideal too, perfectly in the mix of everything but luckily not next to any loud bars. Wonderful!

hoi an itself is a must see the ancient buildings and the chilled out vibe is so relaxing it’s far from the hussle and bustle of hanoi and hcm .. the hotel is within walking distance from most activities but a grab is handy if u need to go further a field the hotel offers free bikes we used these to cycle to the beach also umbrellas are provided in the rain .. breakfast was good nice fresh fruit bread pastries and an egg station and plenty of local food if u want something more wholesome .. pool table a nice addition to pass the time and the pool did look nice however there was no sun and I didn’t venture down this route .. the gym is very outdated and basic but u can lift the odd weight and walk on the treadmill to make the heart work … the boats and lanterns at night are a treat for the eyes and would recommend the cooking class and coconut boat.

there were limited hot food options for our breakfast taste in the morning so make sure u like eggs and bread … there were also a colony of little ants in our room unfortunately it was hard no to think about them though they were mostly above the headboard and in the bathroom around the sink we did inform reception and they sent maintenance to spray the area but I don’t think it got rid of them fully .. other then the overcast weather and rain and lack of sun I would say we had a great time here

Overall the hotel is very nice. The location is really good, just next to the river and the old city. The pools are pretty good, not the biggest but cute. Personally we prefer the one at the upper floor. The breakfast was really good with good veriaty. The room is pretty big, clean and well accessorised. The hotel also let you lend an umbrella and a bicycle for free. There's also a pool table and a nice gym.

The water current in the bathroom are really bad, they are not stable. Sometimes the current is strong and sometimes it's weak, the same happens with hot and cold temperatures, so it's really annoying to take a shower. The staff at the reception are not updated with information regarding transportation, they offer a taxi when there is a free shuttles in the city. The bed has only one side with power socket which was also unstable.
