The hotel was in a great location walking distance of Gare de nord ,also the Louvre ,muse d,orsay and other major attractions. Plenty of eating and drinking options close to the Hotel.The staff were really friendly .Bed very comfortable. It is a budget hotel but for the price it was excellent.

Bathroom although spotlessly clean was very tired and really needed at least a regrout and shower head needs a descale .

The Monsieur at the reception of the hotel was very pleasant, kind and helpful even if we stayed only for one night. We had a problem with another airbnb that we had booked and he was very willing to help us! ! The location has many choices to go out and eat and in the evening is full of life!

Great location near the train station. Quiet rooms even though the room overlooked the street. When closed, the windows blocked out all noise. Also appreciated the fan in the room.

The decor is nice if a little dated. It's a 3 min walk to 2 metro lines and 10 min walk from Gare du Nord where the airport train arrives. Very convenient. There's a bakery across the street and lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.

Very convenient for the Railway stations Gare de Nord and Gare de l'Est. Lots of reasonably priced places to eat very close by. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money

Access to the upper floors by a very steep stairway or a very small lift, If you have mobility issues or do not like small spaces consider asking for a room on the lower floor

The owner/manager was very friendly and kind. The room was not small, as many Parisian hotels have, and it had 2 windows with lovely potted geraniums. Bed was comfortable. There was a table with a water kettle to make tea and a coffee maker too. Bathroom was spacious with plenty of hot water in the shower. Elevator in the hotel was small, but we were only 2 in our party, so it was fine. Location of hotel is good as the Gare de l'Est (with metro lines and train lines) and the Gare du Nord (train to CDG airport, plus other metro lines) were within a short walk.

The staff is fantastic. Very kind, frendly and always there for any kind of help. The location is perfect, close to the metro and walking distance of some of the best quarters of Paris. The room is clean the beds are comfortable. Good food in the area and bars.

The bathroom could use some renovation and there are too few outlets to charge your phone. But again we will gladly come back, the owner of the hotel is a perfect host.

Nothing as such, but there are few things which if they (can) improve. It would make the experience even more amazing: 1. No exhaust in washroom/toilet (completly humid inside after a bath) 2. Shower curtain was small and that lead to wet floor after having a bath 3. Fan is provided, but due to noise from street you have to keep the window closed. And you end up with No ventilation

It’s difficult to prioritise what I liked most about the Hôtel de Bordeaux, but I will give it a shot! Firstly, the room was incredibly comfy. There was a comfortable bed, it was tastefully decorated and two gorgeous huge Parisian windows allow light in by day and fresh air in by night. The room also had all the creature comforts: ample storage, a safe, a fan, a fridge, warm drinks, a kettle, a hair dryer and tv - so the room has you pretty much covered! The bathroom was lovely as well and there was very strong water pressure in the shower. The surrounding area of Gare de L’est is a fantastic Homebase for exploring Paris. you have two major train stations nearby including the Eurostar terminus - Gare du Nord. Plenty of buses and metros go to and from Gare de L’est - including to the Eiffel Tower in the west of Paris and Bois de Vincennes in the east. You’re incredibly well located for travel and exploring. The area is very vibrant and buzzing. There are plenty bars and restaurants near, great Parisian cafes and bakeries, supermarkets, ATMs and a McDonalds. It’s a great area to stay in. And last but certainly not least, the team were brilliant. Yaz (hotel manager) and his team were always so friendly and accommodating, I truly had a fabulous stay with them and would definitely come back!

The staff were very helpful and friendly, this was my second visit to this hotel. The lady who was looking after the hotel made us a great breakfast each morning and she was first class at her job.

As the weather was very hot we had the windows open all night to keep cool, that was not a problem as the room was supplied with a fan, THE DOWN SIDE WAS FROM PEOPLE DRINKING AND SHOUTING UNTIL 3 AM FROM OUTSIDE, please note this was nothing to do with the hotel 🏨.
