The location was perfect; it was in the city center and close to everything. The breakfast gave us a lot of choices and especially their croissants were very tasty. The room was very bright and with a nice view at the Rossio square. The rooms were cleaned everyday.

The only disadvantage was that upon check-in, the receptionist asked us for our credit card (and wrote down all the credit card details in case of damages), even though we have already pre-paid the whole amount of the reservation. No hotel has ever written down our credit card details (including the ccv); they usually charge temporarily the card with an amount as a guarantee, which is released after check-out.

The location was right in the heart of everything, could not have asked for a better location. Close to the Metro and Train stations for easy on/off. Breakfast had a good variety of items to chose from each day. The room was amazing; had an awesome view of Rossio square with floor to ceiling windows. I can't speak more highly of the staff, upon checking in and until we checked out Nelson and Raquel were available & more than willing to help with any questions we had, includng recommendations for places to visit. Overall, excellent hotel which I would not only recommend but continue to come back and stay!!

I have no complaints regarding the accommodations, location, or the staff as everything was wonderful.

The staff really looked after us and we’re very friendly. We drink milk with our coffee (Nespresso in room with unlimited coffee pods) so they told is to just ring reception and someone would bring us some hot milk to our room. Most days they would leave us homemade chocolates in our room. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect - right in Rossio Square. Noise wasn’t a problem as the window were soundproofed well.

Nothing really negative. Would suggest having some hangers for coats - was a space begging for it by the door. Also same for bathroom, as the hanging rails for the towels are in the shower/bath, so awkward to hang back once you got out as it had a shower panel.

The location of this hotel is awesome. Dining options abound within walking distance. It is close to the Metro and rail station. It's just a few blocks from the Santa Justa Lift, the tram stop, and the Gloria funicular. It's a climb, but within walking distance to St. George's Castle. The room was spacious and spotless. The staff was helpful and friendly. We arrived early (before the room was ready) and they stored our bags for us. When we got to our room, our bags were there. The internet connection was strong. The beds were very comfortable with both a thick and a thin pillow. Temperature control in the room was good. There were a large number of English-language TV channels available.

Space for toiletries in the bathroom was very limited. The conditioner provided was watery and not very good.

Could not find a better location if you want to be near the river, where all the restaurants are and near the old city. We received complimentary port during the short time we were waiting for our room to be ready. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Room was modern and shiny and clean, but the "interior" view was actually a window which received light but could not be seen through.

Small but high quality hotel right on the Rossio and close to restaurants, bus tours, funiculars and all that the Baixa has to offer. Comfortable room with wonderful huge bed (2m wide) and though not massive floor space, it was big enough. Wifi worked perfectly. Coffee station and in-room safe. Best of all, the staff were unerringly helpful. A special shout-out for Nelson (I think this was his name) who went the extra mile with sightseeing recommendations and getting taxis etc.

No criticisms from us. I guess the bill was not especially small, but that’s life these days.

The hotel is in an excellent location – handy for the city centre, restaurants, many attractions, plus the hop on/hop off bus and metro. A great quality hotel with a clean, comfy and spacious room and a great breakfast! The staff were all so helpful and friendly too. Definitely right up there with one of the very best city hotels I've stayed in!

The one thing is that I'd love to see a more interesting range of vegan-friendly breakfast items. You can currently have some of the cereals and bread, fruit, jam and salad. You can request soya milk from the waiting staff. It'd be great to have some plant-based yogurt/cheese/pastry to bring it up to the level of the rest of the breakfast, and/or to have a hot option.

Clean room, comfortable bed, large bathroom, strong air conditioning, great amenities including coffee maker, really cool balcony with great views of the square, great location, super friendly front desk staff, free luggage storage after check out

There were no complimentary water or drinks in the room & all the items including bottled water cost money and the price for them were high. It would have been nice to have a couple free bottles of water included with the room.
