The room was very modern and had that urban chic design that i loved, the staff were friendly and welcoming. check in experience was great, they explained all areas and of the property and what i was entitled to and were i could access things. Breakfast was great, team and food i loved.

the dinner service needs work, i had one of your boxes with different selections which was good but i had to return the platter to get sauces added as well as the pork was tough, my spouse had the Atlantic salmon which he loved, i had dessert the mango cheese cake- i would have preferred a different presentation it was presented as 4- 5 small bites versus a slice nicely presented would have made a difference. also the prices are quoted in US dollars, we either get Jamaican Figures or be told the rate of exchange at the start when we receive the menu.

The ROK is a very pleasant jewel for Kingston . I finally there is a quality 5 Star hotel on the waterfront which I do believe will spark economic development for a very run down area

The only thing is , I wish they had a shop where a person could buy small items like nail clippers etc

I really loved the downtown location, the ambiance was great. The staff were so professional & really pleasant, from the front desk team... special 'shout-out' to Oshin & Dominique - ladies, you are 100% awesome! The team by the bar next to the pool were really accommodating as well. #good vibes! I also felt extremely safe during my stay.

The housekeeping team could have paid more attention to details, adding extra cups, teas packets, etc as necessary and changing all towels when needed. I had to repeatedly contact front desk regarding same. However, items arrived quite quickly after just one phonecall! So thanks.

Room was okay

After waiting for over a hour just to check in with an agent that was new and not knowing what he was doing then wake up to see I was charged 4 times for one room smh 🤦‍♀️ this was unacceptable am telling u they need to train these people properly and I booked 2 rooms for 3 people and he charged me for 2 rooms for 4 people am telling you never again.

The staff at the ROK Hotel Kingston were 11/10 and I had a wonderful exchange with each and every person on the team. Everything was extremely clean and beautifully presented. I enjoyed my time at the ROK Hotel. The bluetooth Marley speaker in the room was also an absolutely great touch!

The food options were a little disappointing. The pool bar only really offered fast food and for vegetarian guests there was not a lot of choice, diary free guests I think had no options. It would be nice to have some healthier/ vegetarian options at the pool bar. The staff there were marvellous though!! <3

Good location for the airport, charming staff, comfortable room with exceptional shower and lights for an hotel.

Lack of parking

Door staff were second to none! They were very professional and made you feel safe. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. The A/C was wonderful in the hotel throughout. The breakfast staff were friendly and helped any way they could if you needed anything.

The evening restaurant was an issue. Not all items on the menu were available. It seemed understaffed, having to wait for food and drinks for over an hour.

Staff was very professional & friendly. The hotel was clean & fresh (airl). Security was good, especially the floor level access to rooms.

The rooms are small & tight fir 4 adults. The shower was not designed properly as we were standing in dirty water b/c of poor drainage. The exterior & entrance to The Rok need better daily maintenance & beautification. Pressure washing the paver stones, and adding more vibrant flowers and shrubs outside would go a long way on differentiate The Rok from its surroundings.

The decor complimented by the aesthetic artwork and security at the ROK, is one that must be experienced. Location could not be better with great restaurants and entertainment across the street while savoring the cool ocean breeze. Crisp linen with that fresh smell and a comfortable bed just made my 2 night stay a win.

There's nothing not to like at this hotel except i wish i could've spent more time

Staff was great, very service oriented, front desk, kitchen, rooms and others. Pop-up party awesome, honors members should automatically get wrist bands Rooms and facility extremely clean. Very convenient location.

Breakfast needs improvement. Need more.option, an omelet station, different type of bacon etc. Dinner menu needs Jamaican options.
