QT Sydney is a quirky boutique hotel in a prime site, close to the elegant Queen Victoria Building and the harbour. Staff are young, enthusiastic, and professional, whilst retaining their individuality. The interior decor is imaginative, but functional, and the facilities and room service are exceptional. I particularly enjoy the lift music, which changes according to the number of passengers!

Parking is expensive, because it’s off-site. And I miss the pink-haired custodians of chaos, who used to greet guests at the door. Tiny niggles, if I was looking for areas for improvement: no teaspoons provided for the Nespresso coffee and T2 tea, which were excellent; the TV lacked some free-to-air channels, and the channel guide was inaccurate; the on-line room-service menu didn’t match the QR coded web-browser ordering system, which also missed a couple of late-night orders (resolved very promptly by the staff when I called), and the dishes didn’t always match the menu description (berries became mango, peach, and/or nectarine in the otherwise excellent granola)

The 7th floor deluxe king room we had facing away from Market street was very comfy, spacious for two and very quiet despite all bustle and construction outside - we got amazing sleep. Location is perfect for anything in the downtown area or Circular Quay, and only 2 blocks to the metro and airport rail. The rooms are decorated in a funky dark boudoir theme, which is perfect for getting rest or romance, but may be dark if that's not what you're looking for. The hotel uses an app for requesting services or amenities like towels, etc, but front staff also seemed happy enough to take requests in person.

Bathrooms are typical modern hotel: spacious and fully equipped, but not very functional. I'd recommend some place to hang towels to dry.

Quietest hotel room I've ever been in, on 8th floor. Good location close to transport and shopping. Very helpful, courteous staff. Spacious room and bath.

The shower floor had no barrier to contain water and was very slippery. There was only about a 14 inch wide glass wall instead if a door. So your shower time was spent trying not to fall or spray water all over bath. The soaking tub was short and deep, with a bench. I found it awkward and am only 5'1". Decor is dark and glamorous. Black furniture often dusty. Poor lighting. Lacking in sit-down restaurants nearby.

the location is great, the room was spacious, the bed was really comfortable, I liked the funky design features of the hotel. the staff were friendly and helpful, the room service was great too. I appreciated the upgrade of included breakfast as well.

just little things really - that aren’t significant but noticeable. it was hard to open and close the curtains as they were behind the desk and tv unit. the room didn’t have the Dyson hairdryer and it would have been nice to pair my Apple device with the tv as I don’t have android. when I used the shower the dressing gowns that were hanging there got wet at the bottom. I didn’t use them because of that. all up , these are not a big deal but just giving feedback.

The location is fabulous - right in the heart of the city with lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and walking distance to major sites - the Rocks, Museum of Contemporary Art, the wharf and the Opera House. The room was good sized and comfortable, and the bathroom was wonderful...very large with great water pressure and hot water for the shower. The staff was exemplary - very knowledgeable about the area, and provided great help for navigating the area.

The room was not as clean as I would have liked and am used to.

Great location. Close to shopping and public transportation i.e. the light rail, buses, ferries, trains. Lots of restaurants nearby to choose from. Rooms are very quiet. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

The queue/crowd that occurs before a performance next door at the theatre can be confusing and annoying to get into the hotel front door. As others have commented, the rooms are very dark which is not appealing in some ways. The layout and lack of privacy in the bathroom could be difficult for some people.

The staff at this hotel are exceptional. I arrived early in the morning off of a long haul flight and despite my room not being ready which I knew would be the case considering the hour of my arrival the manager of the spa offered me the use of the showers so I could freshen up. This type of attention to detail makes an extraordinary stay.

There wasn't much I didn't like but there was a bit of dust on the shelves that were a part of the minibar, but that's me being really picky.

Location was central to everything we wanted to do on our stay. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. Loved the freestanding bath and it was great to have a decent hairdryer (Dyson). This is not a cookie cutter hotel and it has it's own unique style, which made it interesting. The staff were always friendly.

Our room didn't have a view, our view was a brick wall. Whilst we didnt stay for long periods of time in our room, and this wasn't overly important to us this time around, it might be important to others to know that not all rooms come with a view. Apart from this, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel.

This hotel is outstanding the design is brilliant, very quirky and stylish, I just loved it. The staff were very warm and welcoming, the location is perfect for the Sydney CBD so close to everything. It was very comfy and I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely go back again.

The staff in the restaurant were not very helpful or attentive. It wwas advertised an opening at 06:30 for breakfast but they eventually told me that they did not open until 07:00 but they were quite short. Very different to the overall team at QT who were fabulous.

The staff were exceptional. Very pleasant and easy to deal with. Location was perfectly situated with town hall train station only a short stroll. 2 x Woolworths near by (one closes at 8pm, the other 24hrs). Penty of food eateries to choose from and lots of shopping malls within blocks of each other. A nice dark and quiet room considering the amount of traffic this street gets. Pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

The entrance to QT is a little confusing, almost walked into the theatre, actually I did only to be told the hotel is nextdoor haha. No coffee sachets, only an expresso type gadget. Prefer just plain ol coffee. The ironing board needs extra padding underneath it otherwise you end up with diamond patterns on your clothes from the metal framing. Other than that, not much I didn't like about this joint.
