Convenience. Comfortable. Clean.

The air-conditioner didn't work. I tried it a few times but ended up opening the window for fresh air. It wasn't safe there as there wasn't security screens and being a long weekend there were party goers until early hours. Then the early travelers left early. My stay could have been a little more relaxing if I could have had the window closed and the aircon on for safety and noise reasons. Oh and the shower was a little weird and had to be positioned properly or it fell down. The tiles had some mold. Honestly I've had it worse. But I do feel the worse room is left on booking.com so the bad reviews come from there mostly. Last in gets the worst room.

I didnt have the breakfast, however the beds were comfortable and the rooms did their job.

Internet provided was slow,used my own dongle. The male receptionist was a little short at first, because the lady doing rooms had to find him for us to check in and apparently this took her away from her job, as they were fully booked out. No one was in reception on arrival, pressed buzzer and called out several times. Eventually he came back to office. Said he was outback, I was tired and just wanted to check in.

The lounge and 2 single lounge chairs are old, dated, dirty arm rests, worn and stained from sweat and age id say.., the single I sat in once I covered it with a blanket. The double sofa I couldn't use, the cushions sank low and the framework dug in the back of my legs..all was fine except the dated lounges and dated faded orange taffeta curtains. The place did what I needed..very comfortable clean bed..nice modern bathroom. Great price.

The pillows were hard but still slept well.Was happy with everything it was clean had plenty tea and coffee for the price we paid was very happy and customer service was good would definitely stay again ,We were up for a short stay at that was perfect would stay again.

The location was great ! The staff were very helpfulness. The parking. Plenty of parking. We could walk to the shops. The bus stop was right outside practically. I could leave the car there all day & walk or get a bus to Tweed Heads / Coolangatta. I liked the fact that the weather was kind to us & I could sit outside my room in the sun & read or play my ukelele. Daniel on the reception was very informative & helpful.

When I tried to ring & tell the staff about leaving my musical instrument there, I seem to be put onto Booking.Com rather than be able to speak to a staff member straight away. Very frustrating!😆 All was resolved 😎👍

It was suitable for an overnight transit stay - a good motel. Important for me was it was clean and tea making facility meant I could still make a cup of tea in early hours of the morning. Room was old style motel and bedding is due for replacement, but clean and tidy

External noise of other guests turning up in early hours of the morning - no respect for others.

Location was an easy drive to Coolangatta Tweed clubs restaurants etc. We are very familiar with the area so Calico Court suited our needs perfectly. As the motel has about six rooms on a second level older travelers should request a ground floor unit when booking if required. Spacious clean unit and friendly staff. We would recommend this establishment for short stays of one or two nights.

The motel has an ideal location to visit relatives we have at Tweed Heads South.

A little bit more maintenance would have been helpful, with the towel rail and soap dispenser both falling off the wall. Fabric on the chairs and sofa could do with a good cleaning.

Clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Good value for money in an expensive area. Had everything we needed for a 3 night stay to visit family on The Coast.

All good really. The furnishings could do with an update but that's about it.

We stayed at the Calico Court Motel as a 1 night stopover for an early flight out of Gold Coast Airport. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and and there was a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Not 7 star but neither was the price, we would stay again.
