Situated right on Macrossan, the main drag strip, 1 min walk to coffee, 2 min walk to the beach. Everything close at hand, restaurants, cafes, etc. Beautiful pool at rear of apartments, plenty of seating/lounges for everyone. Lots of seating options in room, table/chairs, lounge, table/chairs on our rear porch/deck, and also table/chairs in the common area. BBQ facilities, water cooler and ice machine 24 hrs, book library. Super friendly and knowledgeable guys who own/run the apartment. Everything was fabulous, even the grumpy fish in the pond who said hello each time we walked past. lol.

We really liked the apartment and the view over the marina with a constantly changing view of boats coming and going. The furnishings of the room were very comfortable. The location was excellent with many restaurants in walking distance. And a walk around the Esplanade brings you into the centre of Cairns. The staff at the Information Centre (check in) were very helpful in booking a sunset river cruise, booking taxis etc. We would certainly stay again. There is a convenience store next to the Information Centre (34 The Esplanade) which is handy, Woolworths a short walk away and coffee is available over the road at the Casino from 6.00am.

Very spacious apartment, comfortable bed and pillow. Conveniently located. Supermarkets, night market, variety of restaurants and Reef Cruise terminal are all within a few minutes’ walk. The apartment is spotless clean. It was the only place that I had stayed which kettle is as clean as a new one. Full kitchen facilities, washing machine & hanging rack are available within the apartment. Staff are very helpful and nice.

There are a lot of charging sockets inside the apartment but not one is conveniently installed. As I did not bring along a sufficient long cord, I could only stand by the kitchen if I needed to check my cellphone at the same time needed to charge my cellphone. However, in general it was a very enjoyable stay.

The location was very convenient with restaurants downstairs on the waterfront and walking distance to Woolworths, McDonalds and a large number of other restaurants. Having the Kitchenette, Washer and Dryer in our apartment was greatly appreciated. The view was better than expected with combination of garden, mountain and water views. We didn't hire a car, we walked and went on several half/full day tours. Reef Cruises left from the Marina just out the front of Cairns Private Apartments. Jo and Darcie at Reef Visitor Information Centre were very friendly and helpful.

We loved the accommodations. They were roomy, very comfortable, and well set-up for our party of four. The view of the harbor was limited, however it was close to everything we wanted to do while visiting Cairns, walking the Esplanade, reaching the wharf to catch our dive boat, and near the pick-up point for a tour of Kuranda. We enjoyed our stay.

Our balcony faced the rear of the building and there was quite a bit of noise from the trash bin area. We were told someone would be sent to fix the ceiling fans on the balcony, but that didn’t happen.

Location was wonderful. Apartment had views of city, sea and marina. Apartment is within close walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shops, lagoon and esplanade. The apartment was spectacular, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lots of TV stations to choose from which is great when you want to relax after a big day exploring what Cairns has to offer. Have to say that the ladies at the Information Centre were fantastic. Their friendly and upbeat personalities made for a happy, welcoming start to our stay. Thanks girls.

Great Location , walking distance to town , the Esplanade & beach , Casino across the road . The building and reception areas are kept in excellent clean condition. Fabulous view of the hills and harbour from the balcony. Excellent amenities, everything you need for a short or longer stay. Bed is spacious and very comfortable. We appreciated the extra towels. Great wardrobe space.

We didn’t find the couch very comfortable to relax on and it needs a clean. Bathroom is looking a bit tired and it’s quite dark in the shower area.

Kitchen equipped with everything needed for a short stay, apartment was clean and roomy for 1 person. Airconditioning worked well in the Cairns humidity. Friendly staff member was able to source me a portable fan which helped me considerably.

Toilet took a great deal of time to fill up even after just 1 flush. If there were 2 people using the apartment it would cause issues. Water pressure was good in shower and basin so would suggest toilet be looked at. Small fridge -to enable freezer to freeze ice cubes it had to be put on the highest setting which in turn froze things in the fridge.

My room overlooked the water and the esplanade walk. There was a lovely balcony with chairs and a table to relax and enjoy the view. There were several good restaurants connected to the building. The bed was comfy. The shower was really great. The hotel is close to everything.

The only things I found annoying was that there was no phone in my room and I needed to make local calls (which for some reason my cell phone wouldn't do even when using Wi-Fi and a local sim card), and that the air conditioning system ran incessantly unless I manually turned it completely off. My room was either cold or too warm.

The apartment had everything we needed for our stay, was exceptionally clean and in a great location. Particularly loved the large balcony. On our month long trip travelling along the east coast of Australia, this was our favourite accommodation.

As our arrival was in the early hours of the morning we collected the key and instructions from the lock box. This was fine however we went to the wrong entrance and tried to use the wrong elevator (which opened but would not ascend using the keycard). This led to a slight panic until fortunately a resident was coming out and showed us the other set of elevators for the other side of the building. We had just travelled over 24 hours and jet lag probably contributed to the confusion but perhaps this could be made clearer on the instructions.
