location is great. it is not new but it's clean and tidy. after booking the hotel, I strongly recommend you to ensure the hotel can find you (by the booking.com chat, email, phone number e.t.c.). When I first arrived in Australia, the staff told me the hotel's lift was out of order and they offered a full refund. They were allocating all customers on the lower floors and I was only on the 3rd floor so I am happy with that. They are doing a good job in maintaining the property in a clean and good order.

The room was self contained and very well appointed. Looking down onto a car park was not the greatest but we spent so little time in the space it was not a problem. The bedroom was great and very comfortable with built in robes. The bathroom maybe needed a spruce up but was clean and well appointed. Having a washing machine (new front loader) and a dryer was a bonus. Kitchen was very good to use and the lounge was extremely comfortable. Reception was very helpful at all times.

The bathroom needs a little updating as the tiles were painted over and had begun to peal in some spots. I would imagine the humidity being a tropical location would not help.

I had never been to this accommodation before. I was concerned when I approached as it was hidden away. However once inside the place was awesome. It was clean, everything that you needed was supplied. I had been up in the Torres strait islands hence I needed to do my washing as I was moving on to Melbourne. So happy to find washing powder in the machine and get my washing done, dried and ironed. Enjoyed a lovely clean room, comfortable bed and restaurants right outside to get some dinner. Really convenient location.

Could not find any faults to be honest. I forgot my phone charger. I called the receptionist as I had arranged for someone to pick it up for me. They retrieved it and had it waiting ready for pick up. Workers honesty was out standing.

It was comfortable, clean and welcoming , we had booked another place but it was that disgusting we left and found this one late at night , we booked it at 11 there after hours number was answered and the lady was very accommodating and contacted the caretakers to let us in the lady who looks after the place was very kind and understanding and l opened up the underground parking for us as it gets locked by 8 pm to keep cars safe . For to room and were so relieved that we had a beautiful clean place to stay and it was the best sleep we’ve ever had ,definitely recommend this hotel

The location was excellent, able to walk to everything in the city and close to restaurants, chemists and supermarkets. The room had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable and good linen, especially the pillows. There are two tv's sorting out the channels was a bit difficult. The room was very clean, air conditioning worked very well and had everything we needed, fridge was small but suited our needs. Plenty of parking if hiring a car.

Sometime there was a bit of street noise, but I think you would get that from most accommodation in the area and you can't help the local birds flying in.

The postion is a ten minute walk to the ocean, and Woolworths and bws are right across the street. Clubs and food are also walkable, so there is no need for ubers on a night out. The pool was lovely and clean.

The floors of our room definitely could have used a mop before we came and the bath/showers waterpresure wasn't the best. In addition, not having an oven was a bit inconvenient and the outdoor furniture was definitely lacking, and one piece was falling apart in places

Great location - across the road from bank, food and drink provisions (Woolworths), plenty of small restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. About midway point between the waterfront and the Shopping Centre. Older building but large rooms, very comfortable, clean and like a mini apartment with seperate sleeping area, bathroom/laundry, kitchen, dining/living area and a small balcony. Good safe area to park a hire car.

Cooking smells from the next apartment and a strong smell from the air conditioner on the balcony (?). It was also a bit hard to distinguish where to park in the onsite parking area, but so convenient to have the carpark.

For an old hotel, it was perfectly clean. Everything we needed as in fully self contained. Walking distance from the shops. Not enough milk. We had to buy milk. there were only 2 little sachets. enough for 1 cup.

We have no complaints. it was what we expected and will stay there again. Parking was available, although a little tight for a large vehicle. No problem is we had a small car.

Excellent location in the centre of town, right opposite a supermarket. It was a nice spacious apartment with friendly, helpful staff. The bed was comfy, shower was decent and the WiFi worked well. The kitchen had a lot of worktop space and contained everything we needed. It was great to have a washing machine and clothes airer.

Cleaning needs a little more attention and it would be good to have more hangers in the wardrobe and better drawer space.

The 1-bedroom apartment was spacious with an adequately-equipped kitchenette. The location was very convenient and the late arrival check-in procedure was very easy and clearly explained in advance. The Receptionist/Manager was very helpful and courteous. The outdoor swimming pool was a decent size but I did not have a chance to use it due to heavy rain during my stay. There are some large terraces on the upper floors where hotel guests can enjoy some interesting views over Cairns on a day with pleasant weather. The hotel was fairly quiet for sleeping. The hotel was very close to a large supermarket and several good restaurant choices.

The swimming pool looked like it needed to be cleaned as I could see a lot of sand in the bottom of it all the way from my high floor balcony. I wasn't sure I'd want to use it even if the weather had been better for it.
