I had a wonderful stay and was genuinely impressed by how well-prepared the room was. Everything I needed was already provided—I only had to step out for food that I will cook. As someone who prefers to spend most of my time in the room, this setup was ideal. The hotel’s central location made it easy to walk to nearby spots, and the upgrade to a larger, sunlit room was a lovely surprise. The reception staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even when I accidentally left something behind, they kept it safely for me until I returned to pick it up. This has been my best hotel experience in Hobart so far. I would absolutely recommend it to other travelers—it’s worth every penny, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
A little wash room would be perfect. Maybe its a feature for penthouses of the building.

Comfortable Bed, though NOT as comfortable a bed as the last apartment I stayed in at this hotel with friends - in a 3 bed Penthouse apartment. This time with just two of us we stayed in a double studio. A totally different experience and not as luxurious or stylish. The location isn't bad - ten mins walk to Salamanca Markets and harbour and close to shops and restaurants in the CBD.
Though we like moody vibes, the room was very dark and it was hard to see. Last time we stayed in a Penthouse apartment with balcony with mates and it was bright and stylish and a lovely space. This time there was just the two of us in a studio room which was totally the opposite of what we experienced last time. The owners of this hotel are not very generous in their provisions and we couldn't get a parking spot either (you need to book ahead and spaces are limited) so had to park on the street which was not ideal. Room was pretty basic with no frills. On the expensive side for the experience you get. Having said that, the room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Stylish and clean apartment and in CBD, only about a ten minute walk to Salamanca and the harbour, but close to shops and restaurants. Parking a bonus. but what I loved the most was the bed which was sumptuous and super comfortable! That was a major plus for me. I would definitely stay again. A great choice if you are in a group. The bedrooms were spacious, beds comfie and the apartment we choose (there were six of us) was a three bedroom with a balcony. The apartment was filled with natural light, which was great:-) Couldn't fault the space really!
Having to pay extra for parking when there were already allocated parking spots for each apartment was in lieu of the expense a bit much we thought - free parking would have been greatly appreciated. Also the apartment, though stylish, had a bit of a clinical feel about it. Needed to be a bit more homely - tasteful art works, plants, throws or flowers maybe, would have added to the ambience and enjoyment of the space. Also there were hardly any teabags left in the apartment - only enough tea bags for one cup each which was a bit miserly especially as the apartment was on the expensive side. But regardless of that we would still recommend staying here as overall it was a lovely apartment and the beds were super comfortable!

Spacious apartment, good central location, great friendly staff. Clean and regulary serviced. Loved the good coffee shop on Criterion Street called Villino Coffee. Easy walk to town, supermarket, shops, Sky Bus stop to/from Airport.
Difficult to get comfortable in beds a bit old and tired. Would be better with washing machine and dryer in each apartment. Long wait times with broken elevator. Would be nicer with a dining table set up by the kitchen in such a large room, TV remote was flat, shower button fitting missing, flat hard uncomfortable carpet, but clean and new. Dishwasher very small and doesn't work well at all. Apartment doors all slam loud and fast which gets annoying. Apart from that, is generally very good and would stay again if coming to Hobart.

Perfect location in the CBD centre. Everything is within a 5-10min walk. Got the corner apartment which has lots of windows and good views of the city. Kitchen is great for basic cooking. Big size rooms. Paid extra for the private parking which was handy.
Rooms are not the most noise insulated. Heard the bin trucks every morning around 3am, and could hear other people in the hallway and next door. Room doors could benefit with a slow release mechanism as they close very quickly and they’re heavy, not the safest for kids or elderly people.

The staff on arrival were super friendly and helpful, and all staff we encountered during our stay were the same. The location of the hotel might not provide the best views from the room (although we could see Mt Wellington between the buildings on the 8th floor) but the central location is great for anyone who is exploring the city on foot. There are plenty of eateries, great coffee shops and plenty of retail stores surrounding the accommodation. The room was very clean and had plenty of modern features; spacious enough for two of us to be there for 8 nights. The bed was very comfortable, which was a bonus for a lengthy stay and the bathroom was clean and new with great water pressure for the shower. Another huge bonus was the ability to control the A/C in our room which you could actually feel was working and the ability to open the window in the room for fresh air is one thing I feel is missing from so many hotels, so this was great.

I loved the hotel stay.. the receptionist (the guy) kindly greeted my whole family (about 20 of us) at the reception and checked us all in to all our rooms. The hotel was so clean and facilities were always tidied every morning the ladies did an awesome job even servicing the rooms. There was a little popular Malaysian food place just outside the hotel that was really good and convenient if we were lazy to look for food, close to banjo bakery and the mall too. The Saturday Market was a short troll away too.
nothing loved it

Close to everything! We loved the location and appreciated the free cot for use while we were staying and they didn’t charge us extra for bringing our baby like some other hotels. They also gave us a room that was very accessible with a pram and all the baby things we needed. The room size and kitchen amenities exceeded our expectations. We had an incredible sleep on the bed and would love to know what the mattress was!? So good!
The shower was very slow to drain so sometimes there was a lot of water on the floor. Wish there had been a tub, otherwise- lovely.

Spacious and clean room that had everything we needed in our stay- stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. TV also allowed us to log in and watch Netflix. The bed was comfortable, and the floor was carpeted. The room heater was useful in the cold weather and they had rain shower head in the toilet which provided hot water without having to wait too long to be heated. They had laundry service at 6 dollars per cycle, but we did not use them. There were two restaurants - Japanese and malaysian cuisine - at the lobby too. They also changed our towels and made the bed daily. The location was near to food, groceries, and sights. The reception staff have always been so helpful to assist us with whatever we needed. The check-in and out process was fuss free. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The location was very convenient for what we had planned for the evening. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was well presented, reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Suggestions for improvement, the pillows weren't very comfortable which made it difficult to sleep even thought the bed itself was great. Also the little milk containers were so small we needed to use two each for each cup of coffee. There was only 6 supplied so if you had 8 containers of the milk it would have meant we could of had two cups of coffee each, not a big concern but a suggestion.
