Location was great , only 2 staff on and lots of people waiting to check in -need more staff on

Our room was next door to a storage room -very very noisy in the morning -staff should be aware that the room next door could have people sleeping

Access to the different facilities was great. The desk is staffed 24 hours and location is perfect for access to trams and restaurants. Very comfortable hotel, is a lot bigger than it looks. The room was an excellent size with lots of floor space. Pool and sauna were a pleasant bonus.

The buffet downstairs is over priced, especially for what you get. The lack of security with the lifts is concerning, people can easily walk in off the street at night and get to any floor. The bed had a very uncomfortably soft mattress topper that couldn't be removed. A microwave in the room would be useful for longer stays.

Location of hotel, value for money, convenience to transport, shops & theatre district. Half tix located across the street from hotel.

Aircon needed adjusting. Location of triple share room, long way from lift, 3 glass doors to negotiate.

Every single thing, we really had a good trip. It was in the middle of the city. Pricing wise it was fair. Affordable. Really got more than we thought.

Car park. Very highly priced. It was too far from the hotel. Over charged. We found it could be cheaper if we had booked online. Other hotels were offering $18 but we were made to pay $45 per day. Couple of staff, only couple we found non approachable attitude towards us. But others were great. Didn't care as it happens with us every where.

As a return guest of multiple visits, I have only good things to say about the Victoria. A safe and comfortable stay in the middle of the city with fantastic amenities and wonderful service! Special mention to Melanie who was extremely helpful throughout my stay from check in to check out. I will be back at the end of next month!

There was a slight issue on the day of checkout whereby I was locked out of my room prior to checkout time. Again, Melanie was extremely helpful in gaining me access to the room so that I could pack and checkout. I realise that these problems occur but it would be great if this had not happened at all.

loved that the hotel was located in central CBD which made it so easy to get everywhere. free access to gym as well and most importantly, the reception staff were friendly and helpful. Didn’t manage to get his name but there was a staff (wears glasses) who provided excellent customer service. He was friendly and patient and also helped us to book a taxi on our last day when the driver we had hired wasn’t able to make it. Overall, definitely recommend the Victoria Hotel!

generally no issues but i do note that the door sometimes makes slight banging noises. not an issue for me since im a heavy sleeper but could be for some.

I enjoyed staying at the Victoria Hotel, I didn't eat there. I packed swimmers as I'm a Swimmer expecting a pool I could swim in so I was a wee bit disappointed but what the he'll, I wasn't visiting Melbourne to swim . Overall I loved my time at the Victoria, it's central and old worldly. Loved the chandelier and the fishtail used to be in a different position I recall years ago, so I was happy to find it again. This is my first stay at the Victoria Hotel and I will definitely stay again. One issue in my room which I dealt with was the drainage in the shower, but again it was no big deal. Thanks for a great hotel regards Riki Trewenack

we asked for an extra bed for one night during our 3 night stay, no problem and only charged $50 for the extra person. This place is convenient to shops, fast food. pubs and so much more,

The dining experience in Mister Munro did put a damper on our anniversary evening, We ordered the chicken parma and I found a curly black hair sticking out of my chicken, I had a closer look and touched it, I wanted to make sure before i told the waiter, He apologized and took it away only to bring it straight back and tell me it was cheese.....no way was it cheese, Ruined our evening as didn't enjoy the food after that.

The location is definately the key draw card for anyone needing to be in the city. The price is a pleasant surprise for what you get for your money. The beautiful entry makes it seem quite posh. The staff went over and above and were friendly and professional. We have stayed here several times over the years and each room has been spacious and the beds/ pillows very comfortable. I like to stay somewhere with parking. the parking here is two doors up and costs $50 per night but it is secure and worth having the car nearby. The cleaners did an amazing job. There used to be a spa and pool on the 6th floor. Now it is just the pool but it is heated and clean. the gym has everything you need. I saw the sauna but not sure if it is still used.

Nothing to say here.
