excellent location. easy walking distance to so much. train/trams also close by. Very comfortable room. good shower pressure too. Do think you need a blind/curtain over window in bathroom though

Staff at the restaurant couldn't care less, not friendly. Probably needs retraining or get alternative employment

Location can't be beaten, clos to the city and walking distance to everything we wanted to do! The rooms was clean as was the bathroom and houskeeping were doing the job everyday to a high standard:) The luggage storage room was handy when checked out as we had an afternoon flight so were able to have brunch without the worry of where to store our bags!

We had some noisy individuals in the room opposite us for the first night and then again early the next morning and we had words in the hallway when I told them to "keep the noise down" as we were trying to have a sleep in. Very inconsiderate for all of the hotel guests on this part of the floor we were staying! My wife and I are quiet tall and we suffered the small bed which had a large hollow in the middle and was not good for my back!

Amazing location, great Heritage Family Room with a double and 2 singles. Beds were very comfy and aircon was excellent. Perfect for our city mini break and great value for 1-2 nights. We were out and about nearly all the time, so it was great for us. If you were staying a few more days, you might want somewhere with room service, a bigger pool and a bar with more extensive opening hours.

We had almost zero contact with staff due to online/virtual check in assistant. No mini bar or room service - though there are literally hundreds of eateries nearby to visit or get delivery from. Pool is very small, but towels were plentiful. The Bar wasn't open on Sunday evening, even though it was a long weekend. While the sofas and tub chairs on the mezzanine floor made a nice breakout space, the lack of any option to buy a drink was a bit of a downer.

Air con was fantastic, and the corridors n room smelt fresh n clean. It was a quiet room did not hear any noise. Lifts worked well , staff were really helpful. Bathroom very clean. The room overall was spacious n clean and beds comfortable.

We stayed for 3 nights the second day the staff didn't replenish our tea n coffee , but gave us milk. There were no spoons on the saucers. We only had 2 wooden stirrers for whole weekend. We did notice when you used the taps in basin we heard a knocking sound in the walls, it sounded as though someone was knocking on the door🤣🤣

Location was great , only 2 staff on and lots of people waiting to check in -need more staff on

Our room was next door to a storage room -very very noisy in the morning -staff should be aware that the room next door could have people sleeping

The place is a warren, and there are two sets of lifts. One set gets you to the Ground floor and the other doesn't, but the signage is not clear about which lift you're heading to. Makes for awkward moments where you go down to the 1st floor on the lift then have to walk to the other lift to get out. I was there on day two of the new check in/out system, and it did not recognise my hyphenated surname. This led to annoying situation where I checked out of my phone, tried to check out on the terminal which just ate my room key and then had to go to a person and check out with them anyway.

We went for AO to Melbourne and choose The Victoria Hotel for having only a short walk to the tennis stadiums. As well we wanted to see a lot of the core City. So it was the perfect address for us. The room was great - everything needed: fridge, big TV screen, so that we could follow the games even when we were not on-site the courts. In our floor was a small pool, where we could start the day with swimming. A little gym aside, that was used by a lot people. We had washing/drying machine service, that was well. Directly aside the hotel, there is a coffee/breakfast bar - really good cappuccino there!! Open every day! On the other side of the hotel entrance is a lunch and dinner restaurant with quite good offers and good quality meals and drinks. We love this hotel!!

We do not eat breakfast but enjoy a meal 3 nights we stayed in the Munro's. Excellent service and food! Beds room,chairs and desk all great. Bathroom needs a shelf and towel rails as nowhere much to hang clothes and towels. Drians need cloudy ammonia regularly put down them to illuminate drain smell and cleaners need to remove mould in sink lip under glass door and around ceiling light. Tissues provided were good.Bedfing excellent.

See above re cleaning.it was pretty good except the horrendous bang ,bang, bang every night from 12 ish loudly waking us up constantly until about 4.30 . We were told only country people complain and we were on the 3rd floor and experienced this every night. This not good. Our bathroom had mini moths invading the room??

Access to the different facilities was great. The desk is staffed 24 hours and location is perfect for access to trams and restaurants. Very comfortable hotel, is a lot bigger than it looks. The room was an excellent size with lots of floor space. Pool and sauna were a pleasant bonus.

The buffet downstairs is over priced, especially for what you get. The lack of security with the lifts is concerning, people can easily walk in off the street at night and get to any floor. The bed had a very uncomfortably soft mattress topper that couldn't be removed. A microwave in the room would be useful for longer stays.
