Our stay at Citadines South Vienna was exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They kindly allowed us an early check-in, which was much appreciated after our journey. As it was Christmas time, they surprised us with complimentary breakfast—a thoughtful gesture that added to the festive spirit. The location is superb, with easy access to Tram 1, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The property itself was spotless, well-maintained, and tastefully furnished, offering a perfect blend of comfort and functionality.

We already stayed in this accommodation in 2022. We booked it again since we love it. Everything is clean, rooms are fully equipped, staff is lovely and very helpful. Also the breakfast is great! Near this accommodation you have tram 1 that goes to the city center and to every important point for tourists. You also have an option to come by car since they have a garage (but you pay it separately from the room). Also like I said breakfast was lovely this time was the first time we requested it. And they have a storage room where you can leave your luggage if your plane leaves later during the day. This accommodation has everything and more that we need so when we come back to Vienna we will definitely again book it.

Room was spacious enough and the kitchenette was well-equipped. We had a very big terrace too. Staff was friendly and tried to accommodate every request. Easy to travel around by tram or bus. There's a Lidl supermarket just across the street.

The central heating was set on high, and we couldn't control it. So we ended up leaving one of the windows half-open to be able to sleep comfortably. The neighborhood was a little shady, especially at night. There's a number of "red light" establishments around. Also there's not many options to get something to eat after 20:00. So plan in advance.

Great breakfast. Good facilities. Close to tram. Quiet room. Fully equipped - everything we needed, except toaster and cleaning material/ equipment.

Our room was cleaned only once during our 10 day stay. The reception staff were present but not very helpful, or customer service orientated. On our last day we had a midnight flight and moved out of our room at 11h00 as per the hotel rules but asked whether we could spend time in the common area. In order to galvanise us into leaving earlier, our Wifi access in the common area was withdrawn by the reception staff. As a result we ended up leaving for the airport eight hours before than our booked flight. If you are planning on arriving much earlier than 15h00 (we landed at 06h00) or leaving long after 11h00 (our flight left at 23h00), this hotel is not your best choice as no exceptions are made with regards to occupying the hotel room early or waiting in the hotel's common area.

It is very close to the tram. Also there is a supermarket nearby. The apartment was clean and easy to check-in. It was nice to have a place to leave your luggage after checking out.

The beds are uncomfortable. It wasn't nice to leave six coffee capsules for five five people for a two night stay. If you want more capsules, you nhave to buy them from the vending machine.

Very good location. 4-5 supermarkets immediately near by. Tram line 1 which goes to city center at 50m from hotel. Park across the street. Table tennis, table pool, football table machine and others to spend free time at location. Very nice, big room (we were 4 persons), with fridge and other cooking stuff (we did not use).Also lots of extras, we did not use but nice to have: ironing machine, safe, hot water/ tea maker, coffee machine, microwave, glass and ceramic plates and glasses, inox cuttlery, etc. Great balcony or terace to drink tea or coffee. And not the last, very comunicative and helpfull stuff.

It was a problem with the balcony's door lock, but we were offered another room and even a bonus for trouble so the "bad" issue turned in a good one for us. Also, the parking is convenient and safe but the price is a little high. It can almoast be considered as an extra person in our stay.

First of all, the staff is very kind and always helpful. In the lobby you can relax or make yourself a cup of coffee. Our room was perfectly clean, equipped with everything you might need and more. They thought of every little detail in the room. For us the room was very beautiful and we enjoyed our stay for 5 days. The bed was excellent. The bathroom is equipped with soap and shower gel, also you have enough space to store your things like make-up or cosmetics, towels etc. They also provide you with their towels if you don't bring yours. The kitchen is very well equipped, you also have a coffee machine in the kitchen and they provide you with capsules (5 of them) and also little sugar bags, but if you need more you can buy capsules from the machine in the lobby, but if you don't want to spend money you can always get free coffee in the lobby where you have big coffee machine that makes excellent cappuccino and all sorts of other coffees and teas. They provide you with sponge and detergent in the kitchen and you also have a washing machine for dishes and they provide you with detergent capsules. We also had an iron and ironing board. The air-conditioning device was excellent. Some comments here say that when you open the windows there is too much noise because of the main street and also a hospital is very near, but it's not that bad. When you feel hot just close the windows and turn on the air conditioning device, at this time of the year it is too hot to open the windows anyway.. Because we wanted to see so many things in Vienna we didn't spend too much time in the room, like we had breakfast inside and spent a little bit of time in the afternoon like two hours to rest and then again go outside and come back later to sleep, maybe if someone is spending more time in the room and they really want to sleep with their windows opet then they will probably find to be a little bit noisy. For us we didn't notice so much noise, nor did it bother us.

Just one little thing is that because we stayed for 5 days maybe they could take out the trash or provide an additional bag for garbage. That's all.

Studio apartment had new equipment, everything was clean, staff members were polite and helpfull. Free tea and coffee. Tram station to the city center was very close to the hotel.

The bed and pillows were a bit too soft for us, but that could be only our preferences. The hotel is on a very bussy road and crossroad, so it was very noisy with the windows open. Even though the tripple glass is quite soundproof tor us it was still very noisy. During the night it was quite hot in the studio and we could not open the windows because of the nosie. There is the AC in the room, we didn't want to use it.

Our apartment was spacious, airy, very nicely furnished and very comfortable. AC, Wi-Fi, TV were all included, the staff was super nice to us, our rooms were even ready a couple of hours before our scheduled check-in. Breakfast was great too, there were a lot of options.

I think the only downside was only one bathroom in an apartment for 5 people, it was kinda difficult to share it sometimes. Other than that everything was great.

I stayed at the small apartment with a kitchenette for one week. The room was very nice, kitchenette had all the required tools to make breakfasts and a simple dinner and a bed was very comfortable too. The room, despite its windows going on the crowded street was surprisingly silent. A great feature of the place is its localization, vey near Davidgasse tram station, which is a great starting point for going out to the city's most interesting atractions.

The room is not "the" cheapest, but its definitely worth its price.
