First of all, this hotel is very basic, more so than other Ibis hotels I stayed in - this one is more like a basic student hall of residence than a hotel. However, staff members I interacted with were exceptional, very friendly and professional, especially the young lady with long dark blond hair that checked me in. They made me feel welcome and made my stay comfortable. Overall I was happy with everything and felt I got good value for money.
On one side of the property, you hear the street noise and on the other side, you hear the tram. Personally, I have found the tram noise a lot easier to tolerate than the traffic noise. Either way, do not expect complete silence.

Overall a good accommodation option for a few nights in Vienna. Special thanks for the early check-in option, and generally good breakfast food options! Stable wifi for calls.
It should be noted that the room was not in the best condition: stains on the walls and carpet, blinking light bulbs in the bathroom, and signs of wear and tear, although it is generally tried to be kept clean.

We selected the hotel for the breakfast, which was great, very rich and diverse, just like in other reviews. We highly recommend it. We spent a week and had a very pleasant stay. The location is great, very close to U4 metro (or 20 min walk to city center), the area is nice, there are restaurants, also Billa and Spar shops close by. The room was beautiful, with large windows, plenty of natural light. The bed was large and comfortable. The room had a desk with chairs, a bench, space for clothes, and a clean private bathroom. The general aspect was clean and friendly.
Almost perfect. We would have liked to have a small fridge in the room and maybe a small safe. (They usually are available in 3 star hotels).

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. It’s not exactly in the city center, but it's within a 15-20 minute walking distance. On the way, there is a market area similar to the Grand Bazaar in Turkey, with cafes where you can sit and have a drink. Next to it, we came across a square market selling old items, and we absolutely loved it. The rooms have the classic Ibis hotel style— a bit small, and the beds are quite close to each other. The cleanliness was quite good, the staff was decent, and the breakfast was also pretty good in my opinion. In terms of price-performance, I think it’s a very reasonable hotel.
twin rooms, the beds are so close to each other. It would be better if there were more space.

Ibis Wien City offers a pleasant and comfortable stay. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures, modern and well-maintained. The bed and pillow were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean and felt brand new. The location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and professional. Overall, it is a great value for the price, with just a few small improvements needed to make it even better.
However, the addition of a kettle for convenience and a smart TV with YouTube would enhance the overall experience, especially for longer stays.

Very clean, comfortable and all of the furniture and facillities are new. The bed was very good, we slept like lambs and the shower was amazing with unlimited hot water. Amazing for this price and location (about a 10min walk from the subway). There is also a DM and the chocolate factory in the same street and 2 parks within 10min.
We didn't get the breakfast because it was 15€ per person. But that's about it. It's optional so it's not really a negative experience just a reminder for the people booking.

I liked the view from the room, the bathroom and the bed, it was so comfy! Like a cloud! The hotel location is amazing. There is a clean drying across the street, hairdresser, pharmacy, and amazing bakery just 2 minutes walk from the hotel named Ströck. There is also one Spar supermarket and Billa on the opposite side. The Museum of chocolate is just across the street.
I didn't like that the room doesn't have the fridge, it's unacceptable for the hotel chain such as Ibis.

Very comfortable bed, cleaning service's every day,big Room, and bathroom. Near supermarket bus station and laundry.
Transport to city center was not convenient. The nearest metro station was 600 metres and could you go there only walking. Also,we asked from the receptionist to wake up as at 4:00 in the morning and she called us at 5:00 dont trust her. 24 hours ticket for transport in the city cost 8 euro and it is the cheapest solution.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was exceptional, which was our favourite part. Despite being a small room, the layout was practical and cozy, offering enough space to feel comfortable. Though the hotel is older, they made the rooms so cute with modern touches like red chairs. It was super calm and the neighbourhood was nice. Within walking distance, there were plenty of cute bars, second-hand shops, and other gems to explore. The location was also very convenient, with the city center easily accessible on foot and a great connection to public transportation. The staff stood out for their politeness and kindness—they really made us feel welcome. We went with the big car and parked and entered the garage with no problem. We initially chose this hotel because of the reasonable pricing compared to other options in Vienna, and we were thrilled with our decision. We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation!
One small suggestion would be to include a kettle in the room, along with a few tea and coffee options. This would add a nice touch for guests.

The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Location was also ok - 5 min walk to Margaretengurtel U-bahn station.
The staff at the reception (three people I met during my stay) was very unpleasant and unhelpful. On two occasions, the man acted annoyed with any of the questions related to my stay (like can I get the bill printed out, or is it possible to prolong my stay for one more day, or what is the actual room price), the other lady was completely disinterested to engage in conversation with the guest and provide help (actually was talking to me with her head supported on hands as in deep slumber) , and the third person was obviously new to the job and looked completely lost behind the desk (that is the least problem as long as she improves with time). Had I come to this hotel without previous reservation, judging the reaction of the staff at reception desk, I would not stay there.
