I wasn’t too sure what to expect after reading all the bad reviews, but this hotel is perfectly fine and you get exactly what you pay for. The room is clean, the bathroom is big, shower is nice and hot with excellent water pressure. The room was cleaned and the bed made every day during my 4 - day stay. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. I had a room facing the main road with traffic & a tram, but was able to sleep well with earplugs in. The location is ideal, within a two minute walk from Rennweg train station with a direct connection to the airport, the tram outside the door brings you to the centre- which is also only a 15 min walk away. I didn’t pay for breakfast but there are plenty of shops, bakeries, cafés and restaurants within a short walking distance. This is a simple but nice hotel.

There was an ever so faint smell of smoke in the room, the previous guest must’ve been smoking in there. Glass wall in the shower was inefficient and floor flooded slightly after every shower.

You can have a 30 ish minute walk to the city center from the hotel. Also, to get to the airport, you can take the train from Rennweg (literally 3 min away from the hotel) and be there in max 30 min.

The bathroom is a bit small, even as a solo traveler you might feel you do not have enough space. But you can manage.

Very good location to everything, up the road from direct airport train route. Older hotel in Rennweg, very comfortable and just perfect for the price. They definitely do not deserve some of the awful reviews on here. If you want five star pay hundreds around the corner. But value for money ..... this place has it !!!

We liked the hotel vibe very much. The decor and feel was very welcoming and comfortable. The location was perfect for us as it was close to where we wanted to be. The transport links were easy and quick to use; both tram and underground subway. The breakfast was varied and of good quality and served in a lovely traditional alpine hotel style room. We loved it. Extremely good value for money. Our floor was getting renovated and it will all look lovely when it's complete. Very nice hotel which we would return to and recommend.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would rate the breakfast 1000/10 if it was possible. The rooms are a bit outdated but they are renovating the hotel. The lobby is charming and if you arrive before check-in you can leave your luggage in a designated luggage room. The hotels location is also perfect, the hauptbahnhof is around 20min walking distance but public transport is also available so you can easily visit the tourist attractions. I know that there's no such thing as a perfect trip but the breakfast and the hotel staff made up for it. Overall it was a pleasant stay for us.

There was no air-condition in our room but we had ventilators so it wasn't that bad.

The hotel is quite nice, non so far from the city center of Vienna, walking for prox more th 1 Km or taking the tram nr 71 really close to the hotel that brings you in the center (ring, staatsoper etc.) or taking other buses also in the night. From the airport with S7 or regional train you'll arrive in 20 minute to the hotel close to the train station Rennweg. Historical Belvedere palace/museum is really cose walking hundreds meters. There are some automatic machine h24 at tha ground floor of the Hotel for cofee or other things and the Reception is h24. Te rooms are quite nice, and big with furniture of mountain style . Close to the hotel there are bars, restaurants, fast food, supermarket (Lidl , DM, DIPA etc.) etc.

I had a room close to the lift and with another door inside (may be for a family, in case opening the internal door having a double - double room) so I could listen the other conversation from my room and the noises outside the main door. Tv was not working (antenna calbe was broken) but I didn't use it visiting Vienna the all time.

I was really stressed after reading a lot of reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was incredibly welcome and helpful, the room was nice (the furniture is old-looking by design, not necessarily bc it is worn out). Sure, there aren't a lot of facilities - but honestly, you're not booking a 5-star all-inclusive hotel, you should set your expectations accordingly. We had a really good stay and made good memories with other people in the hotel. Signed, a Vienna Swiftie. <3

Some of the cleaning staff were really loud in the morning, but when I told them if they could keep a lower tone, there were no further issues.

No breakfast but a nice kitchen to cook and store food. It was very near transportation, shops, and attractions. Very nice.

Hosts have to remember that we are traveling, mostly from other countries. I wish they would let us know exactly which bus/train to take to get to home. And (almost a huge problem this time) European wifi sometimes doesn't connect well.and traveling all day I had like 2% charge on my phone to get last minute instructions. It was after 1 AM, in the rain, locked outside, but fortunately 2 boys were just coming home in that building and helped me get the key from the lockbox.

We loved that it was near the tram stop and the underground for ease of travel. The lobby was great and the decor was very authentic. The rooms were well appointed and a decent size.

Unfortunately, the curtains in our room didn't adequately cover the window which caused privacy issues and also annoyances with light. The breakfast was sub-par to be honest. The food was cold, and the juice warm and also cheap cordial.

Was in a great location, easy to get around using trams trains and buses, and away from the chaos in the city centre. Rooms were good size and massive bed. Good storage space and wireless charging and usb charging beside the beds. Staff were very nice. Don’t understand all the bad reviews as this was far from a bad hotel.

Would be ideal to have air con but they do provide a fan and the window opens wide so it wasn’t the worst.
