We were given the room at our early arrival (~9.40), we had a small problem with a bed for child, we were said we will have a bed, but on the first day we didn't, on next day after contacting the other guy from reception we received the bed very fast. It is quite strange to have a shower and washing basin in your room, but we were traveling with the family and it was not a problem. I asked for the silent room, we were given very silent room, I have never had such silent room, however the view was to the inner yard, nothing special at all, but that is not an issue for us. Breakfast was very tasty, no problems with quantity. Location is very good, near Belvedere, not very far from center, we reached everything by foot. Wifi maybe better, but all in all ok.

It was not very convenient to be without separate bathroom, as a room.

The hotel is very good, the room is clean and of a good size (we had the king room). The breakfast was also good. For us the location was convenient, we walked to the city centre, Opera house and Musikverein. The room was cleaned every day, the towels changed every 2 days I think. Next to the reception there is a small shop where one can buy snacks, sandwiches and beverages. In the room there is a fridge, but empty. I think it is a better solution with the shop downstairs.

The major thing that I didn't like and, probably will prevent me to come back, is the fact that there is no proper bathroom, the sink is in the room, from the shower cabin you have to go out behind the closet and near to the entrance door, only the toilet is closed by a door, but you have to go out in the room to wash your hands.. I personally didn't like, maybe it is not a problem for others. Also, the light was quite poor, with one lamp near the mirror above the sink not working. The soap bottles were not working properly, it was difficult to squeeze a drop. There is a kettle (not a coffee machine) and instant coffee provided, which, nowadays and for a 4 stars hotel, is a little bit not enough.

I had booked a king room, but was upgraded to a junior suite which was nice. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were polite and professional. There was good selection for breakfast. The hotel is 6-7 mins from the nearest metro station, 100m from a very nice pub/brewery with a good selection of food and local beer, and about 15 mins walk to the centre. I would happily recommend this hotel.

The shower / bathtub was part of the room immediately to the right of the entrance to the room, there was no door shielding it from the rest of the room. My colleague had a different type of room, but apparently the arrangement was the same for her too. Even if travelling with a partner, this could be problematic. It will almost certainly not be ideal if you are booking a twin room.

Room was very big and exactly like in the pictures. It is equipped with tea, coffee, tea, minibar, bath robe, slippers, body lotion, vanity kit.. Note: The bathroom doesn't have a door. So if you are sharing the room with friends this maybe could be an issue. The breakfast was amazing, lots of bread options, cook breakfast, plant based milk, even Champagne!!! The location is one of the best things, safe environment to walk at night and very close to the city centre (like 10 min walking), it's right beside the Belvedere museum. 5 min walking to the train station that connects you to the airport. It's an expensive hotel in this time of the year (December) but it was a pleasant stay. The receptionist (young lady at the desk on Saturday 07/12) was kind, helpful and had a great attitude.

-The mattress was a bit soft for me. -The Hotel is very clean, but looks a bit dated from the outside and also the common areas (corridors, elevator, carpets). -The Aperol at the bar wasn't too impressive, big chunky piece (1/4) of orange instead of a slice and. The taste was ok, but too much ice.

First time in Vienna, it was very pleasant as and they made a really nice effort to give me a nice room on the 6th floor. - clean - easy check in -friendly -amazing food - easy check out Also close to tram and Rennweg station walking took about 2 mins 10/10

The only WEIRD thing is they have no privacy on the bathroom area like you can see the toilet from the beds and the bathroom is not segregated. So weird… like whatever happened to privacy and if anyone did go for a no.2 as there is no parting wall it would stink up the bedroom so not ideal for friends as it can get awk.

The breakfast buffet is really great with a wide selection of milk & cornflakes, fresh bread, salty as well as sweet options. For us the big bonus were the fresh orange juice machine as well as the juicer where you could make a fresh juice of carrots, beetroot, apple and other fruits and vegetables. Really big compliment for the breakfast as it's been a long time since I haven't seen such a rich buffet. Another plus was that there was cleaning staff for extended times, so even if we left the room at 2 p.m. they still went in an cleaned.

I feel that for the paid price the hotel room could be more modern than just refurbished or kept in good shape. One thing that was surprising is that over the weekend the hotel doesn't collaborate with a cleaning company that is open, therefore you need to plan your laundry hand-over. I think that nowadays for a 4 star hotel this is surprising especially because of the tourists doing city breaks.

I only stayed one night so I couldn't make use of all the facilities

Good hotel overall - I am not a big fan of the chain hotels that tend to look the same everywhere, and this one is a rather modern building - when you are in your room, you could be in Vienna, Cairo or Los Angeles, and you would not notice the difference. Having said that, the hotel is comfortable, pleasant, the breakfast was excellent, and the location is great next to the Belvedere!

I chose the hotel due to the location next to Belvedere, which was good. Karlsplatz is also easily reachable. Having said that, I realized the walk to downtown took longer than I thought. Next time I might try to stay directly in the District 1. The room was also a bit anonymous, with not a lot of character/charm.

- clean and well-maintained hotel with a lot of potential - we got an upgrade to a better room - freshly squeezed orange juice and prosecco on the weekend breakfast - good location, walking distance to the downtown

- you gotta be ready for less privacy in the room due to absence of doors to the bathroom. But its great if you travel as a couple! - the stuff is ok and is trying to be helpful if you ask. If you don’t ask, they simply ignore you. The stuff needs to be trained much better, giving people warm feeling of being welcomed at the hotel and during the breakfast. - breakfast is ok if you don’t expect luxury and Austrian delicious home food. Prosecco is only on the weekend. - weird sounds from the roof all night long on the 5th floor. Probably squeaky roof during the wind. We needed earplugs to sleep.

I had an incredible experience staying at Lindner Hotel Vienna Am Belvedere - JDV by Hyatt in Vienna, Austria. The service was top-notch - they arranged a taxi for me to the airport, and the hotel's 24/7 accessibility allowed me to enjoy the city in the night. The room was clean and tidy, with a minimalism but totally functional design. It was well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay, including a desk, chair, minibar, and safe. The spacious and bright room provided a sense of coziness. The shower was clean and had everything I needed. I was pleasantly impressed and will definitely return here.
