I liked the simplicity, I got what I needed. It wasn't luxurious but this was a cheap stay, so I was expecting that. I was afraid of the beds as many people complained about them in previous reviews but the bed was totally fine, a soft foam mattress, my sleep was okay.

There were small things that could be corrected. The toilet seat didn't work correctly. Or the fan in the bathroom made a crazy noise. It was unfortunate that there was some construction work on the building which limited my late mornings. The 'table' in the room wasn't really accessible as another bed was in the way, but I could make it work. For me, these were all minor things that didn't really affect my stay.

Pension Ani is a great accommodation! It is close to everything (shops: Billa, Hofer, Lidl, Interspar, etc; public transport: Tram Line no. 33, U-Bahn no. 6, etc - and those are linked to all the important landmarks of Vienna). The city center is also pretty close. The rooms have nice facilities: comfortable & oversized beds that are perfect for a quality sleep, a safe box to deposit the valuables, a TV, free Wi-Fi, good security, a shared fridge, a shared microwave and a common space for those who want to bring their own food. The staff is nice and welcoming. All in all, I definitely recommend this place because the price is okay and the quality of everything is top-notch. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

very nice pension. My personal big thank you to the personnel. I arrived very late and they came specially just because of me and gave me the key. The room is simple, serving basic needs. Everyting clean and comfortable. Every day i found the room cleaned. For me alone the room was perfect, for 2 people betther to ask if they have bigger one.. The location is very good. It depends which part of the city you need to visit. It is a few minutes' walk from the U6. Tram 33, 5 stops are around the corner. The Old Town is about 20 minutes on foot. Very safe neighbourhood. The house is currently being renovated, but it is beautiful, in the evening there is very little noise from the main street, I had a wonderful sleep with the windows open. I really recommend this pension. I hade a very good time.

I was skeptical after reading all the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's not 5-star accommodation, but it's perfect for an overnight stay. The room had a clean bed, clean bathroom, clean towels. I didn't mind the fact that there was a smudge on the curtain or the wall. The room didn't have AC but a fan (I guess it was better than nothing). The staff was helpful and kind. It was quiet in the guesthouse, the noise from outside was not so terrible. The guesthouse has a strategic location, you can get anywhere by tram. It's not for a week vacation, but for few nights it´s perfect.

The staff was very responsive as we had a terribile flight and arrived very late. We booked a room for 4 to have a bit more space. The room and bathroom were smaller than typical rooms but even so there was everything we needed and it was all very clean and comfortable. Nice view from the window. Great location, with lots of cafe and shops, close to the metro station or walkable to the city centre. Really pleasant. Good value for money. I would definitely come back when back in Vienna.

There wasn't enogh liquid to Wash hands. The kitchen area could be improved for example by adding a kettle and leaving some cups.

The location was excellent, close to bakery & cafes, rooms are small but has everything you need and are comfortable. Staff is not always there but they are accommodating and friendly and also speak English. Many rooms in Austria do not have ac or fans but this room had a nice ceiling fan that made all the difference on those warm summer days and nights. I would stay at Pension Ani again for sure, my husband and daughter also agree.

There was supposed to be free Wi-Fi; however, we could never connect to the internet.

very nice location, great view from a window, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Room was quite cozy for a short stay.

The toilet outside sometimes was used by other guests, which was a bit unusual as it’s only for one room as I understood. Cleaning in the room was quite frequent and there was no sign “do not disturb”, so it was not possible to regulate it.

I stayed 3 nights in the beginning of July, it was very good! The location is perfect - close to the city centre, but in a relatively quiet area. The tram and bus stops were just below the house, as soon as you get out of the building, here it is the tram stop! Otherwise you can walk for 10 minutes till one of the most beautiful gothic cathedrals, which I went to every day as it was breath-taking! The staff is super friendly, always ready to help and give advice about the city, and they also spoke English! The room was small but clean and cosy! In my room I had a shower, it was also very clean (and I'm very hard to satisfy when it comes to cleaning!) The view from the window was amazing! I could see the street and the buildings and some trees, which I liked a lot and spent a lot of time in front of the window! In general, a very positive experience, I would recommend this place!

As the tram stop was nearby, I could hear tram arriving every 10 minutes, and in the morning it was a problem cause it was noisy enough to wake me up. But it's only the summer porblem, cause I had to keep my window open, but if you stay when it's not hot, it will not be a problem for you! (Actually the room had a ventilator that I could use, but it's just not my thing) The biggest disadvantage for me was too soft matress, as I like the hard ones, so I had some troubles falling asleep, but it's not a problem of the place, it's just my habit.

The location is great, near two bakeries / coffee shops, and for the more social, a pub (cannot hear it). Transport points are also very close, and the best restaurant with gluten-free food (for us) is within 800m, so we had no issues. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Our mattresses were extremely soft (my family that stayed 2 rooms further had firmer mattresses). For others, this might have been perfect.

It located near U-Bahn station. 5M away from by feet. City is calm and school is near, so you can feel more safe here. It is like resident's house, so if you want to feel wien like local resident, it could be good option for you. Also, view is good that you can feel the Europe city view and it was rly beautiful.

Towel was kind of thin that soon get wet easily. Also, shower boose was so tiny that i cannot put my shower stuffs easily, and shower curtain didn't work well. With thin towel, floor was always get wet.
