The location is absolutely great. Tram and bus stops are just a few meters away. The city center is quite easy to reach. A supermarket is jut right in front of the pension, across the street. The room was clean, albeit small. There was no cooking facility, but a fridge in the room was quite handy to keep some stuff. A kettle and courtesy tea bags in the room, and courtesy coffee in the "lobby" were all very welcome. You get your keys and you can get in any time you want, so there's no issues getting back to your room late in the evening or too early in the morning. It is quite close to the University of Vienna, which in my case was a very important factor to decide my stay.

The bathroom is inside the room, like a box that has been installed within the room, it is not a different space all in all. It was a bit small, but it worked just fine for me. I had no issues with it, but some other visitors might want to consider it if they find the space a bit too packed.

It is a very comfortable place. We stayed in a very big room. We booked a double bed and we had two extra sofas to use. There is a small kettle in the room and some teas. Great thing is the coffee machine and small pots of milk in the common area and you can help yourself to it whenever you want. There is a supermarket (Spar) right opposite the Pension and another one (Billa) a couple of minutes away. The owner very nice. He speaks English. The furniture/style is not modern but totally functional. Comfortable bed. It is a 15mins walk from the City Hall, Hofburg, Parliament etc The price is definitely a good value for money.

The price is great. It's very close to the bus station. It's very convenient to take the bus. The boss and the waiters are very enthusiastic and nice. They are willing to let us store our luggage after check-out. The surrounding environment is nice. My room faces the atrium and is very quiet. The sound insulation is also good.

Because I had to change rooms the next day, the boss gave me the key in advance. However, because I went out very early and could not meet the boss, the boss chose to open the door and put the key into the room when I was not in the room. Although I had given my consent in advance, I still Feel that the boss should not enter the room during the stay. Hopefully there will be another way to deliver keys in the future. Other than that, it's great. I will stay here again if I have the chance.

The room was very very spacious, with a huge bed and a big wardrobe. I don't think the room was soundproof, but it doesn’t matter, we didn’t hear a single noise any night, and we could sleep very well. The bed was especially comfortable. The bathroom was also big and convenient. We had free coffee in the mornings.

The location could be better, the combination to the city center takes around 30 minutes. Be aware that in booking.com it says it has "Luggage storage" but it hasn't!! However, we mentioned it to the owner and he helped us to find the best solution for our luggage, he recommended us some luggage storage services in the main train station to the airport. The quality / price ratio could be better.

Clean room, good location, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Actually, when I arrived at this hotel, I noticed that I stayed in this hotel once before! I didn't like it back then because of reconstruction noise, but it is of course finished this time. The room was large enough, and it was all good this time!

The facility is a bit old, but it fits to the typical cozy European hotel. And the bathroom is made in the room, shaped as a small container cube. But it's working without any problems, so it's fine too.

The staff organized my arrival in a very precise and clear manner. It took me 3 minutes to enter the room with the instructions they provided. The neighborhood is just great - with a supermarket in front of Pension and a lot of cafes around: quite shick Alser Cafe - and Donnermaster if You want just food. I have no trouble in reaching the city by tram 2 and bus 13A. The room has every facility You need - and also a fridge, and a small kettle and some ware to eat something quickly inside. It is ideal if You have things to do in the city and are back really late.

The room is really small. I expected it so it is not minus - but please be aware. Neighbors can be loud.

I had an amazing night's sleep in this bed. 10/10 Very comfortable. Nice warm shower with good pressure. Friendly staff and cleaners. It's nice to have windows that open when needed for fresh air. Good wardrobe space with hangers and an extra blanket in case you get cold, but the heating was good enough in the rooms. Herbal and fruit tea with mugs and kettle was a nice touch and there is also a TV and a fridge. It was a nice, quiet room, we were away from the road and you could only hear the trams if you were sat in silence and really tried to listen for them. Overall the WiFi was very strong, it did cut off briefly once but it was at midnight anyway when I should have been sleeping! The curtains smelled fresh like they had recently been cleaned and the towels and bedding were the same. The tram stop is literally outside of the door and only a few stops down to the main area, or you can walk it in about 20-30 minutes. I would definitely stay here again.

It was cleaned very well in the places that count... The beds, sinks, showers, toilets etc were all very clean and well maintained, it could be improved with a refurbishment but for the time we spent in the room it really didn't matter, and the comfy bed was perfect. If you're fussy and going to look around for dust in the corners of the room and on light shades etc then this might not be the place for you. The shower height was perfect for me, my partner is 6ft and it was a bit small for him. The pillows and mattress were brilliant but maybe investing in new duvets would make it even better.

The location is great, close to the city center, next to tram/bus/metro station. The late check-in is possible (clear instructions about the self check-in). Spar/Billa supermarkets cross the street. Tea in the room, coffee in the building from the host. The room was very clean and the bed sheets were of good quality and snow-white 😊 Overall, great price-quality ratio! Bonus: the heat was on, it was really warm and cosy atmosphere!

The bathrooms are recently built, they weren’t in the original historycal building. So the system that was built for them is a little bit noisy (when turning the lights on and flushing the toilet). Being located on a main street, there’s noise from the street too. But these inconveniences were not that important for us as the pluses 😊

The staff are friendly, helpful and available - Someone will always pop their head around the corner to see if you are OK. They have coffee (though no Breakfast) and will help you with the machine. In Austria a one person stay gets you a single bed - Only in Germany & Austria! It was comfortable and I slept well. There are some fabulous shops - Billa, Spar and Spar Gourmet as well as cafes and restaurants around - Make the most of them.

No breakfast, which explains the price. And bring ear plugs - Its is facing a slightly inclined street with 2 busy trams. The rooms are narrow but not actually small - They just take a time to get used to.

A clean, comfortable room is perfect for a few days. I stayed there for 4 nights and I really enjoyed. The place is closed to supermarkets. Nice that I have a fridge, great heating and strong shower 🚿.

There is nothing that I didn't like. But I have recommendations: 1. Would be nice to have a knife in the room (you can't cut or open some products with a tea spoon) 2. I appreciate that after 2 nights they took rubbish from my room but it's better to inform that someone will come to my room
