Excellent location. The character of the hotel. Room was spacious. Very comfortable king-size bed. Good breakfast with romantic atmosphere. Very attentive staff. We celebrated a birthday and some kind words were waiting for us in the room. Appreciated.

Despite its modern and spacious design, the bathroom lacked certain amenities such as a hand-towel holder and soap holder. While the Italian shower was nice, the absence of a door made it difficult to prevent water from spilling onto the bathroom floor. A full-length mirror was missing in the room (expected in a 4 stars hotel). At night, when cars pass by, the paved street that runs between the canal rooms and the canal become a source of noise. Traffic is very limited, but this is still to be considered when booking a room with canal view.

Romantic, fairytale location. Just beautiful. ❤️ steeped in history. Fabulous hotel very historical and decorated accordingly. Fabulous hotel. Beautifully designed. Staff are great. The breakfast and breakfast staff are fantastic. Chef Softest scrambled eggs delicious. Food presentation and attention to detail by the breakfast ladies is outstanding. Nothing ran out even when it was busy. Missing our breakfast thank you love room 31 xx Room very cosy with nice old furniture. Stunning bathroom. The biggest bed I’ve ever seen. Not just a bedroom and bathroom. Quite location great for sleep no noise. Lots to do and nothing very far away, still managed to get 12-16,000 steps in a day. 👍 we will be back x❤️ Ps beer and chocolate and pastries good too. 🍻🍫🥐🥮

This was a beautiful, comfortable and stylish hotel which was perfect for our stay in Bruges. The Library Room was absolutely gorgeous; we loved the big comfy bed, the spacious bathroom and the decor -- it was absolutely worth spending a bit more money for this special room with a view over the canal. There was so much space compared to many of the other hotels we stayed at during our month in Europe. The little sitting nook overlooking the canal and the statue of Jan van Eyck was the best part. The staff were friendly and extremely polite and prompt when we asked for a few more pillows to be brought up (as we weren't used to European pillows). The hotel isn't right in the centre of the old town, but it's only about a 3-5 minute walk to get to market square and it means the neighbourhood is nice and quiet. There's a bus stop right near the hotel, which goes to and from the train station, and this made our day trip to Ghent extra convenient.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Location is perfect , walking distance to most attractions. We stayed in the Suite which was enormous and had canal view which was very nice. Breakfast was excellent , had both hot (scrambled eggs and bacon) and cold (nice selection of croissants, cold cuts, fruits, etc.). Staff was very helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Not really a big deal but parking is a distance away and will cost you extra per day.

The location is good, about 8min walk into the centre and less then 15min taxi from Brugge train station. The hotel has lots of character and charm and the rooms were spacious. The breakfast is more like a continental breakfast, but with enough choice to fill you up and set you up for the morning. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The reception staff in the evening were especially helpful when we checked in during the evening. I'd requested a bottle of champagne as we went for a birthday and that was sorted for us and in the room ahead of our arrival which was great!

Parts of the hotel do need a bit of TLC, some wear and tear of carpets etc that need sorting.

very good hotel located just outside the city so very quiet the breakfast was good and everything was there also a cozy bar where you could have a drink the room was good with an excellent bed just the bath shower I found a little less but that is also because I am tall but is also a personal choice ideal to believe to go everywhere just 10 minutes from the city also very easily accessible by bus from the station take bus 2 and get off at the theater 2 minutes walk from the stop in other words a top hotel if you want to discover the city

Spacious and well decorated rooms. We booked a Family room and were pleased that the child’s bed was in a separate room within the suite. Stylish decoration throughout. Great location.

On booking the property was listed as having “Private Parking”, however it turned out it is 1/ not free and 2/ it was all booked out. We had to struggle to find a parking and organise ourselves to leave our luggage first and then walk from the public parking far away back to the hotel. We lost 1.5 hours from out holiday dealing with parking shenanigans. Please make it clear how your parking operates!!!

We stayed 4nights in the Isabella suite (Deluxe suite with canal view). The suite is very spacious & beautifully furnished. The bathroom is HUGE, & there is a seperate toilet room with a built-in bidet. The suite looks as if it’s just been fully renovated to new. With a super comfy bed! It was so nice to have our own luxe space to come back to after exploring each day. The service was fabulous. Including catering to our requests for wine, chocolates, & keeping the ice bucket for wine full. We had the breakfast one morning & really enjoyed. It was an easy walk to everything including a few restaurants next door.

We wished the bar fridge in our room was bigger so we could have added more drinks.

Charming hotel on a canal at the top end of the old town. A short walk to Markt square and all the main dining and shopping options. The room (Room 105) was very spacious and beautifully decorated. It has an alcove with a sofa bed which was perfect for our teenaged daughter, because she could close the door between us and have her privacy. The bathroom was spotlessly clean., the beds were comfortable, and the room was dark and quiet at night. The room also had a large terrace overlooking the garden, which would be lovely in summer.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is in walking distance for the city centre and other neighbourhoods. Brugge train station is a 20 minute walk and there is a good bus service. The hotel sits on the banks of the canal and we were lucky enough to have a room overlooking it. The hotel room was lovely and large, with that wonderful view. There were 2 comfy chairs to sit and read in, or just chill. I found the bed uncomfortable because I like a firmer mattress, but that's just my opinion - my husband said he felt it was fine. We were given 2 bottles of water every day, which was great because the weather was very hot when we were out and about. There is a small chiller fridge and a safe. Overall, I would recommend the hotel.

Our room was extremely hot and we had to have the air conditioning on 24/7 to make the temperature more bearable. It still felt very warm at times. The bathroom had no windows and it was permanently hot, which was hard when you were trying to have a cool shower to escape front the heat outside. For a hotel of this quality, I would have expected there to be shower gel and shampoo in the shower, but we had to buy our own as there was only a small bottle of shampoo provided. The bath towels were very small and not of great quality.
