* Staff: best thing of all. Lady on reception booked us in and offered to get us reservations for dinner. The restaurant was unavailable so she tried calling repeatedly through the day, and then called us when it was booked. She was amazing and so helpful. * Location: Bang in the middle of town. * Presentation: Excellent - premium. Beautiful. Excellent 'Dali' Lips sofa in the common areas and beautiful bar and yard. * Breakfast: the best pate I have EVER had. Good selection of hot and cold buffet that we used after our run. they even provide hand sanitiser (essential!) * Room: Comfortable, quiet, excellent shower and pressure. Key card access. Plenty of plugs and excellent lighting. Free wifi everywhere. Good size TV with a great selection of media (but nowhere to plug in HDMI). We really loved it here so much that we made it a point to go back for one more night before the end of our trip.

* Parking. the only complaint we have. There are 4 spaces. We selected hotels that have parking but there are only 4 bays and you don't get a bay unless you specifically ask for one, which was not clear during booking. But given everything else, this was a minor issue. The lady of reception gave us a map of car parks nearby. * Pro tip: Park at ALFA PARK which is very close to the hotel.

Perfect location in the heart of Bruges. The lovely receptionist recommended (and booked) a Flemish restaurant around the corner for us (Diligence) which turned out to be the best meal we’ve ever had in Belgium! We enjoyed a drink at the hotel bar when returned from a post-dinner stroll around Bruges - pure bliss. Our room was very clean and fresh feeling. We had a wonderful night’s sleep.

We stayed on the ground floor at the back of the hotel by a pretty little courtyard. The rooms were immaculate and had air conditioning. There was coffee/tea, a safe, complimentary toiletries, bottled water, fridge, tv with European channels, a shower and bath. The room was beautifully furnished and felt very luxurious. The hotel was in a great location near the small market square and although in the middle of all the attractions was so quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was great. A wide variety of food. The hotel was adults only so if you want a peaceful stay in Bruges as a couple or adult family it’s perfect. The staff are helpful and friendly and gave us tips of where to dine and places to visit. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and would visit again.

There is nothing negative

The rooms were very tidy and very comfortable. The interior was very pleasing to look at as well. A good feature was, that the air conditioning was working also, when you left the room. The breakfast had plenty of options and we never had to wait in a huge line or something like this. It just takes a couple of minutes by foot from the hotel to the city centre of Brugge.

The were only two things that were a little underwhelming. The fact, that the showers had super low water pressure and the water took a couple of minutes tilll it was even a little warm. And parking spots from the hotel are very very limited. We had to park in a parking garage. The garage was only roughly 400 meters far away, but it did cost us around 70€ extra for a 4 days stay.

You read many reviews when deciding where to stay and we’ve stayed in a few places around Bruges over the years. This is by far the best hotel. Breakfasts are generous, well organised and have something for everyone. There is a daily room cleaning/tidying service (means no need to ask for toilet paper or more shower gel). You have enough towels in your room rather than on a ‘per person’ basis. The bar actually has service. You can open windows. These are things that most hotels no longer have or do. Obviously the location is great, central enough that Bruges is easily accessible, but not too close to the higher traffic areas that bring boisterous issues to you. Staff are always there, polite, approachable and have the answer. The hotel is solid, a genuine hotel rather some rickety staircases that makes you feel you’re staying in someone’s spare room. Which means it’s quiet. Rooms all around us were booked but we were rarely disturbed. All in all our favourite stay by far.

The property is ideally situated near to the City centre for quick and easy access to the local attractions and facilities. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is more than adequate with plenty of choice. The rooms are well equipped and spacious. I would recommend this hotel.

If you are travelling by car then there are only 5 car parking spaces available in the hotel car park which are at an additional cost of €25 per night. There was no mirror on the table where my partner preferred to get ready for the evening and she had to rely on other less suitable mirrors.

This property is amazing and the pictures only don’t do it justice. You get a comfortable experience as well as a luxurious one! Superb breakfast in a superb room, amazing leisure rooms that make you feel like staying there, nobody is making you feel uncomfortable and you can serve drinks at the bar and that is also a very intimate nice experience. They do have a few policies for smoking and late check out but it’s only fare you can’t smoke inside and the late checkout costs a little extra.

Location and the high build and decorative quality of the hotel. Breakfast service was great and the friendliness. Nothing was too much trouble.

The hotel appears to have only 4 parking spaces, which is what it is, and unsurprisingly they were booked to other guests. The hotel provided a list of local parking but only three were bookable and the nearest two were fully booked, which left the Station Parking as 1.1 miles from the hotel. That's a great car park and very, very cheap (€4.50 a day) but a nuisance distance. None of this is the fault of the hotel as such but is the counterbalancing inconvenience of being in a medieval and sought after location.

Our room was on the top floor which has exposed wooden beams both in the corridor and our room. you need to be very careful not the bang your head, especially if you get up in the night. Location was excellent, just 5mins walk to brugges centre. Private secure parking at the rear of the hotel, access via a secure garage door which is opened by reception via an intercom.

The signage outside the hotel is quite small. We were on motorbikes and rode straight past the hotel as we did not see the sign. It was however a very sunny day and the road is One-way traffic and when you have vehicles behind you urging you to 'get on with it' (No patience some people!!) Construction work was also being done outside the hotel making pulling over to stop impossible.

Amazing location, beautifully done and lovely rooms, helpful staff. Had the triple room for our grown up family and it was really nice, spacious and the loo was separate to the shower/bathroom which was great for 3 sharing.

Nothing major! Just to be aware that there isn't a fully staffed bar or restaurant, although the concierge staff are lovely when serving you at the bar, the communal area is a really nice space to sit in, and the breakfast is good. Only negative is that cleaning staff took away and forgot to replace some towels/stuff in the bathroom one day that's all.
