Staff and quality of the room. Cosy atmosphere. Breakfast is great! I sincerely hope that electric smoking is not allowed in the breakfast room (don't know). Bulgaria has a smoking ban in pubic spaces but in the end one can choose between sitting in other people's (heavy) smoke, sit in a room next to the nicotine-obsessed room, or sit in strawberry smoke, because Bulgarians think it is harmless and just like summer air. Fresh air is underappreciated in Bulgaria. I hope this hotel understands this and will separate smoke from smoke-free.

Airco noise (switching on and off throughout the time we were there) just outside our room. make sure you check before you book. Also, the net curtains (behind the real curtains, which are fine) are uninterrupted and to open the window one almost needs to tear these curtains out;-)

If you choose the superior room then you get a very nice renovated room (even tho the toiler/shower wasn’t really renovated and there was mold on the floor of the shower). The bed was comfy the pillows not as much. The breakfast was really worth it. I found the location just fine, its basically around 15 mins walk to the main street. If you are willing to use a Scooter so just 5 mins.

Late check out wasn’t possible. The toilet and shower area felt extremely cramped, making it difficult to move around comfortably. If you’re on the heavier side, you might find navigating this space particularly challenging. Moreover, the bathroom clearly hadn’t been properly renovated, as I noticed mold on the shower floor—a concerning issue that detracted from the overall cleanliness and comfort of the room. The tight layout and lack of maintenance made what should have been a relaxing experience quite unpleasant.

Breakfast was most pleasant. Staff were so friendly. The front desk people Ava and Alex were incredibly helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for Sofia opera’s Ring Cycle. Particularly helpful were dinner recommendations.

Nothing. I liked all. AC was a little tricky to figure out. Sometimes too warm and sometimes too cold. For several days I had a long legged daddy spider in my tub. I did not want to kill him but did not know what to do. Showered around him. One day he was gone. I just hope he disappeared to the place where he had originally come from.

I notified in advance that I would be arriving in mid-morning and that I would like to check in early. I was told that this would depend on availibility, and indeed when I arrived I was given a room. The room was comfortable and had everything that I needed. Breakfast was good, including fresh vegitables and fruit. The location, near central Sofia, is convenient. And the staff were helpful.

The wi-fi was very weak and kept disconnecting. I don't know if that was just the floor or wing I was in, or the entire hotel. My room was in the "other" wing, which was a bit cut-off, but okay.

Clean and properly decorated. Breakfast was excellent. The receptionist (Kathy) was exceptional, provided excellent alternatives and suggestions of tours. She was so kind. I recommend that when doing reservations at the hotel, the hotel should provide the taxi coordination from the airport to the hotel. We had very bad experience while looking for taxis at airport; they over charged us. This could be a good service to receive from the hotel and receive a room charge for the service.

Carpet in the floor is not the best option for the rooms. The bath tube was very dangerous since no security handle available. The room was so hot that I have to open windows all the time.

24 hours reception that came super handy as we had an emergency. Very caring staff (thanks to Teodor!), we got free upgrade on the room and any questions were taken care of. Great location in the walking proximity to the centre and in a quiet area. Affordable prices. Nicely decorated inside. One of the very few hotels that actually have hair conditioner in addition to shampoo and gel. :)

The facilities can be a bit retouched. The shower holder had a small crack and couldn’t hold the shower if the flow was set to a maximum. The mattress is too soft to my liking. :)

We arrived in Sofia after a long flight from Montreal, and after having visited Rome. The hotel was everything we expected. It was right in the center of the city and it offered excellent views and services. The staff were very polite and their hospitality was highly appreciated: they let us check out later than expected since our flight was late and we needed more time to refresh before leaving for our next stop in Bulgaria. Plus, they kept our luggage in storage for free for as long as we needed. The spacious room and the huge terrace were excellent for enjoying our stay in Sofia.

There were no downsides.

Front desk staff were super friendly and very cooperative. Katerina Teodor and the manager Vanya went far beyond to help, advise and recommend sites to visit, rental car, etc. When we requested rooms upgrade they did it without hesitation and with reasonable fees. Breakfast staff were also pleasant to deal with..

Two minor improvements, first add more variety to breakfast, eg eggs cooked on order, and may be few more traditional items. Second, air conditioning unit some time goes hot and we did not know how to manage.

The hotel was very nice, in a nice location, with car parking, very nice breakfast and very polite staff! We chose the junior suite since we were travelling with 3 kids (10, 8 and 1.5 years old). The room was roomy and comfortable for all to sleep and run around. Nice coffee and tea add-on in the bar, bath robes and slippers. In general the hotel is a great choice.

The baby cot requested during reservation (one month ago) was not setup upon our arrival and had to remind the reception to bring one up. The staff did not know hot to set it up. Also, an annoying light was flickering in the bathroom. We mentioned it twice and requested an electrician. The light never got fixed. Both were minor incidents which did not actually

The receptionist who greeted us - Planon? - was warm & welcoming when we arrived. He organised a reservation at a popular nearby restaurant for us to ensure we didn't miss out. The location was great, close to a mini mart and restaurants. Easy 15min walk to the main sites of Sofia.

The sink/bathtub were slow at draining and then the plug got stuck? Wasn't bad but is the closest to a con we had. Didn't have an opportunity to get it sorted before we left but I'm sure they would have been helpful.
