Perfect location for downtown and for walking the waterfront. Comfy, clean rooms with good bathroom supplies. Very fast elevators. Friendly and helpful staff.

Things have changed since our last visit last year. They now charge for using their wifi in your room unless you are a Marriot Bonvoy member (signing up for that is free). We were given a ticket for a complimentary buffet which was very nice but, otherwise the price is $33 per person which is expensive (they no longer have the espresso coffee machine in the buffet area). Parking is now by Valet only. It is convenient but costs $55 plus taxes per day.

Location. The breakfast buffet was amazing every morning. I didn’t appreciate though that for 3 of us, only two buffets were included. I still spend more money on breakfast, as the other prices were pretty inflated. However, Alex who worked as a waiter, in the Mizzen was absolutely amazing. He was one of the best servers I have ever had. He deserves high praise, and much gratitude from me. He made the breakfast, not the food:)

My room was cleaned everyday, however, a lot dust and crumb around the coffee machine. Kind of gross. The bathrooms could use some updating and a deep clean.

The room was clean and there was plenty of room for four of us having a girls night and attending a concert. We had two double beds and a great view of the city and the lake. Great location close to restaurants and Scotiabank Arena. Front desk staff very pleasant. The buffet breakfast was fresh and delicious with plenty of options.

We had booked the breakfast for four as part of our reservation. Even though we showed proof of this before entering the restaurant and being seated, the "gentleman" serving coffee did not believe us (we are grown women, not kids) and would not bring us more coffee. What appeared to be a manager eventually came over and provided us with more coffee.

Jasmine at reception did a fantastic job checking us in. She was in-training but you wouldn’t know it. Although the Hotel itself has aged quite a bit and is looking a little worn, it’s people like Jasmine going the extra-mile that make up for it. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff were excellent there as well.

When I stay at a once great hotel I always expect a bit of wear and tear. No exception here. They can’t (or don’t) maintain these hotels in a way that keeps up with a more modern build. The age shows on the crown mouldings, the AC vents, the doors. The hotel was clean but those aged features felt it from feeling crisp.

I love the fact that I told them my family has bad allergies with pet and due to the fact that they can't guarantee no pet has ever stayed in the room, they steam cleaned the carpet! The floor was still damp when we got there but I requested a fan so when we came back from our dinner, the floor was dry! Thank you for going the extra mile to make my family stay great! The valet and rest of the staff was courteous and professional. Location was also a big bonus.

Buffet Breakfast was very good especially the omelette station (this was included in my booking) and all the waiting staff were very efficient and friendly. The hotel itself was in an excellent location close to many great restaurants and the harbour and various attractions. The running club was a nice touch.

There was a limited choice on the food menu in the ground floor restaurant/bar for a hotel that size. Overall we had a very good stay but compared to other hotels we've stayed in the price we paid per night for this hotel would have included an evening reception.

The staff at the Westin were very helpful and took on my comments when I was offered an accessible room but declined to take it in favour of a room with a bath. The swimming pool is located between the north and south towers of the hotel with great views into Toronto. Concierge arranged my complimentary bike use and I was able to store my luggage after check out before my return flight. I stayed on two separate occasions in the same week and because the second room was on a lower floor than the first I was given a complimentary breakfast at the hotel which was very nice.

I stayed on the 7th floor and there was some maintenance work being carried out which meant there was the sound of a drill a few times, but not at antisocial hours.

Fantastic location on the waterfront with views over Lake Ontario. The activities on the lake (ferries, planes arriving at the city airport, sailing boats, tourist boats, paddle boarders, the islands, fireworks, air displays) provide constant entertainment. The room was spacious and comfortable, which was fortunate as we ended up staying 13 nights (due to COVID). The buffet breakfasts (included in our package) were good quality. When we needed to self-isolate the hotel offered us a room service breakfast budget which was more than adequate. The room service receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, and made the whole self-isolation experience endurable.

Check-in took a very long time, with only only one receptionist on duty. Once we were self-isolating we were partially dependant on room service which, whilst adequate, was invariably served in take-away containers which did little to enhance the experience. The bathroom was adequate but very dated. The public spaces and particularly the ground floor bar were uninspiring for a hotel of that size. Overall the hotel is overdue for a makeover.

Location was excellent but the staff went above and beyond what could have been expected. We had to leave early due to hurricane Ian barreling towards our home in Florida. Carvin Contractor, the concierge on duty was able to cancel my dinner reservations at CN tower 360 without a charge. we arrived on our 28th anniversary and waiting for us was a complementary bottle of champagne. After our dinner in a nearby restaurant, we return to find more goodies and a bottle of wine complements of the management with very sincere personal notes about our predicament. I just can’t say enough good things about the staff and management of this fine hotel. We will definitely be back, probably this summer.

Location is perfect for the waterfront and downtown sports and exhibitions. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom toiletries provided were very good. The breakfast buffet is extensive.

Our room overlooked the water and the Toronto Islands. Sadly, the windows were very dirty on the outside so the view was not that good. The espresso machine at the breakfast buffet (yes, they only have one machine for this huge hotel) did not work very well and most of the drinks were only warm. Staff were aware of this and one morning put an out of service notice on it. Next morning it was back in operation but still only giving warm, not hot, drinks. The buffet breakfast is $32 plus tax per person and so one would expect better than this. Consider going 100 m down the road to Aroma Cafe for a much better breakfast.
