Amazing location, very warm, friendly and helpful staff. The lobby is spacious and comfortable and a great place to sit and chat with family. The terrace bar is convenient with excellent views of the city and fireworks at night in the summer.

Bed was too soft and room frequently smelled a little musty when it wasn't smelling like the restaurant (which was not a bad thing but you have to like that). We were on top floor below terrace bar/restaurant and it was a bit noisy at night from the music but we didn't mind.

The hotel was located right on the port we were visiting for Grand Prix, which allowed us to take the ferry directly over super convenient, especially for this specific events. The hotel is located in old Montreal great coffee around the corner at Café Olympia, and if you’re looking for a quick work out we were able to utilize William Gray‘s hotel, pool and gym. We knew it was a longshot especially for the busy weekend but we called ahead to Concierge to see if we could get into Joe Beef and he was able to make it happen huge thanks for an incredible anniversary and Grand Prix weekend. Concierge also booked us at another amazing meal for our stay. We had champagne waiting in our room and the big huge windows overlook the beautiful port.

there was mention of loud music at night, but at 10 o’clock at seem to quiet down so if that’s an issue if we would suggest just bringing some air plugs otherwise everything was perfect. My fiancé also had a request for softer pillows and Concierge made it happen immediately. Thank you so much for an amazing stay.

The bed and pillows were super comfortable, so luxurious. The location was amazing — out the front door was the old port & out the back door was one of the many pedestrian zones, just 500 feet to the right was the main Jacques Cartier square. Even though our room overlooked the pedestrian zone, it was mostly quiet on the 4th floor. We could hear the saxophone player and a few loud people. Upstairs is the beautiful Terrasse and within a few blocks were several other recommended rooftop bars. We took the hop-on/hop-off bus as transportation to many other parts of the city and only used an Uber to get to the La Plateau area. It is less than 2 miles from the hotel so would also be walking distance for many and the walk on Rue St Laurent all the way up is full of shops and restaurants.

Be patient with the elevator! The stairs were often quicker.

Location was perfect - right in the heart of the old port, but also very calm and quiet once you were in the hotel itself. We booked a room looking out over the water - the view was great (we were on third floor). The room was clean, stylish and very comfortable, loved the big walk in shower and Le Labo toiletries. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Only one lift meant you had to occasionally wait to get up to your room/down to the lobby. We had the brunch on one morning, was a lot of food but choices not that inspiring - would have preferred more healthy and fresh options.

This hotel is a gem! It is a beautiful, boutique style hotel in an outstanding location in the old town of Montreal. It is situated along the waterfront and the rear of the hotel is on St Paul Street which has all the shops and restaurants that make up the beautiful old town. The lobby and the rooms are exceptionally beautiful and squeaky clean! The staff at the hotel are simply superb! They are friendly, incredibly helpful and professional. We needed some help in making arrangements for various activities and they could not have been friendlier or nicer. Two of the staff in particular, Magalie and Albert, at the front desk, were so helpful to us and made our stay all the more enjoyable! It is clear that the hotel goes to great lengths to find the best people to staff it. They really add warmth to the whole experience at the hotel.

We were only there for a few nights and wish we could have stayed longer!

Super comfortable bed, shower, ambiance and amenities, soaps, comforter et al. , Staff was attentive, helpful , kind. 1 of 2 restaurants was excellent - more casual style than prices would indicate. Would LOVE access to hot water or sauna. Any freebies, wine in the lounge, treats of any kind go a long way. We paid on booking.com and believed we had a better deal. The price is borderline appropriate to the quality since hotel is lovely and luxurious but the Vieux Port is not the destination location it may have been. We enjoyed our stay though. Thank you!

I wanted a sauna or hot tub is all. One round of fre drinks in the "Living Room" or snacks. Any small free offer to make us feel more "at home" and appreciated.

Great location in the old city, within walking distance of most things you'd want; restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, the cathedral etc. Staff were all great, and I think they were really what made the hotel exceptional. Everyone at the front desk was eager to help make our stay better. The room itself was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The bed was great if you like a soft mattress, which we do. The brick and stone walls really add to the overall feel of the hotel. The attached restaurant was also very good, if you just want to stay in for dinner and not go out wandering.

The only downside was that the walls which were not brick or stone were incredibly thin. We could hear every conversation in the neighboring room, and it didn't seem like our neighbors were exceptionally loud. Similarly, we could hear everything going on in the hallway as well, which could be frustrating if you're trying to get to sleep early.

Exceptional young staff bend over backwards to assist you. Wonderfully comfortable lobby areas and two very fine restaurants on the premises. Bed was huge and comfy. And the location was ideal: at the centre of the Vieux Port facing the quai-side promenade, with a view of Cirque de Soleil and the Grande Roue (ferris wheel). An easy walk to downtown or a Metro Station.

I generally prefer a firmer mattress. The thermostat did not respond to being reset (23.5 degrees is too warm for sleeping) and it was impossible to find cold water on the swivel tap.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel and I must say, the hotel room exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked through the door, I was struck by the stunning décor and luxurious furnishings. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with every detail carefully thought out to ensure maximum comfort and relaxation. The bed was incredibly comfortable and provided a restful night's sleep, while the linens and pillows were of the highest quality. The room was also equipped with modern amenities such as a large flat-screen TV, high-speed internet, and a coffee maker, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The bathroom was equally impressive, with a spacious shower, plush towels, and high-quality toiletries that left me feeling pampered and refreshed. The overall cleanliness of the room was outstanding, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner of the space. What truly sets this hotel room apart, however, is the exceptional service provided by the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable and hassle-free, and their warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel room to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay. With its beautiful décor, modern amenities, and outstanding service, it is truly a cut above the rest.

Room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. view over the old port is wonderful. Great location.

Hotel security is marginal at best. There’s a public rooftop bar and access to hotel is wide open via stairs or elevator; anyone can access any floor anytime day or night. Night staff is sometimes at desk, sometimes not, barely look at who comes and goes and there’s no key or code required for entering. Housekeeping staff did not insure our door was shut and locked and on a couple of occasions we returned to the room to find it open. A delivery guy banged on our door one night around 2:00am trying to deliver a pizza that we had not ordered. Why was he even able to get upstairs?
