The kitchen is perfectly equipped with all the necessary stuff (pans, colanders, cutlery, oven, microwave, kettle) and you have a superb commun room which is very confortable. The bedroom was good with two windows that you can open to ventilate the room. The street is very calm. The Hostel is close to the center and you just need to walk a bit. There seemed to be entertainment at the hostel bar but I did not try.

The motion detectors for the showers and for the bathroom sinks didn't work perfectly. The water low for the shower could be increase a bit because it could be difficult for a person with long hairs to wash them. You have a multi-socket for each bed pair which is not ideal because you need to put it between the top and bottom bed. There is no proposed breakfast . Except these few things, everything was perfect.

The staff was v nice! They made us feel welcome. Double room 'Australia' was decently sized, and window was big. Toilets were quite clean, and the kitchen too. The location is absolutely excellent, with many vintage stores and cool food places nearby. I would come back to this hostel as it is good value for the location & amenities.

Just before arrival, the rule was changed, and we had to pay extra for the bedlinen. It wasn't a big amount, but I wish I knew it during the booking time. Also, I wish clearer rules were in place regarding the opening times of the reception desk - their reception/bar was closed at around 12 pm when we came, which left us a bit confused. Fortunately, an employer spotted us quickly and helped us.

The common area was great. Very sociable. Staff were lovely. It was volunteer run. There was love music on Saturday in the common area, great atmosphere. Very cosy when it wasn't the night-we ordered a pot of tea to share and got 4 1/2 cups out of it. The bathroom was big.

The room was quite crowded but it was okay. Radiators were tiny, couldn't dry clothes on. Only two toilets on the corridor for all the rooms. The beds were extremely squeaky. The biggest thumbs down is for the fact we had to bring or pay for our own bed linen, fair enough if it is expensive for them, but it doesn't say it anywhere in the booking, we just received a text after booking. That annoyed us a little.

I really appreciate the fact that young lady in charge with check in was so polite and understandable and open up the door for me , even if I was late, after check in procedure. Don't know if other places will do so, but for me was a big deal , and I really appreciate. If wasn't her.....I'll look for sleep in the airport.🙆😁🩵

Not necessarily "didn't like" , but for the future you can provide a solution for "Self Check in" , in case of someone's missing regularly hours unintentionally. Otherwise they could stay out or search for another accomodation.

Really good value for money! The place has good vibes, is full of young spirited people. You are almost guaranteed to talk to someone, at least the volunteers will make you feel welcome. But you have to come there for the people, the location and the fact that it's run by ActionAid volunteers. You cannot for instance be some boring tourist looking for full-service hotel experience or some other type of luxury.

If you're up early and the first one to use the showers, be prepared to let the water run for a lot of minutes before it gets warm. If you want to sleep late, bring some ear-plugs to be sure.

Very quiet but probably because we visited in the off season and we had a private room. Liked the view of the street from the 2nd floor. Washrooms and shower were very clean and not too busy except for around 8am weekdays. Good location for exploring the city. Good price for a family room. The cafe/bar downstairs looked fun and cool but we didn't have time to use it.

Water pressure in shower was low on hot. Hot water did not arrive in early morning shower until the end, so it was mostly a cold shower. The after hours door was malfunctioning and I was told this happens often. So there is potential to be locked out if emergency number is not answered. Kitchen hours are very inconvenient and we were unable to take our food when we had a early check out. Staff in reception are all volunteers so quality of service varies.

I only stayed for one night but I was very pleased with the experience. This is a wonderful hostel and it not only has the vibe of a cozy hostel, but it is a non-profit project. This brings an additional good feeling besides the enjoyment of the hostel as such. It is run by very special group of volunteers (mostly young), all very kind, helpful and with a great energy. The place is special too, the cafe is pretty, very Copenhagen like and the live music is a big plus. Ideal to hang out and meet other travelers for a night out. Definitely recommend it!

I liked how friendly the staff were and the simplicity of check in given my arrival was late due to flights. The cafe downstairs was great with a variety of drinks, snacks available and a great atmosphere. Great location for exploring with Norreport being a 10 min walk for public transport. Checking out was simple by placing my room card in a red box before 9am as I had a morning flight.

Showers tended to be slow and didn't seem to have much pressure to them resulting in a longer time but otherwise temperature was great. Nothing else I could fault in my experience.

Perfect location, close to everything, excellent value for money. The concept of this hostel is amazing which fights to strengthen human rights and solidarity. The common area is very pleasant to meet travellers, play board games, have a drink and else.

The only small negative point of our "Palestine" room was the noise in the evening. The bedroom window is just above the tables on the terrace. Difficult to fall asleep before 1am. But the weather was amazing when we were in Copenhagen so we could understand that people wanted to enjoy a maximum outside. :)

The location of the hostel was excellent, with everything you need within walking distance. The staff was amazing, especially the girls at the reception who were incredibly polite and helpful. The checkout process was also very convenient, allowing you to check out at any time, which was a big plus for flexibility during our stay.
