The location of this hotel was perfect for this trip. We wanted to have easy access to the city, but also easy access to relatives who live a little outside the city centre. Access to public transport is excellent. Many different bus lines stop on Borgbjergsvej, which is almost directly in front of the hotel, and the Sydhavn Train station is around a 3-4 min walk. This meant it was easy to buy a city pass or individual trip tickets from the machine at the train station, and easy to get to places such as the city centre, the Fisketorvet Mall, Valby Park and Nørrebro etc. The casual atmosphere of the Moxy Hotels is also welcoming and the staff are extremely friendly. (If you want a more formal, traditional style of hotel service, this will not be to your liking, but having stayed in other Moxy hotels before, we knew what to expect.) Staff members are one of the best features of this hotel - Dragoș at the front desk could not have been more helpful or efficient. The room was clean and comfortable, but like many other European hotel rooms, on the small side. Casual food options in the area are pretty good. The burger place across the road is great, the Desi corner, also across the road, was not bad, Palermo Pizza on Borgbjergsvej was great, and having a small Fakta supermarket on that same road was very convenient. But the highlight for me was the South Harbour Cafe about 1 min walk toward the train station. The Moroccan food here was delicious - particularly the brunch. The atmosphere of this family run this cafe was warm and welcoming. Overall, if you want for value for money, great transport links, and don't need traditional, formal service and a large room, then this hotel is great.

You do need to be a little patient with staff at times because they must multi-task - not only must they check people in and out, they are also concierge and bar staff. Many seemed to be in training. But all were very friendly and attentive. The television in my room didn't work, and it seems this may be an ongoing problem. I was immediately offered a different room, but didn't care that much about watching TV so it wasn't a problem for me. All of the Moxy hotel branding is a bit over the top, and feels like it is trying too hard, but it isn't a problem.

The hotel has a great location for what we were looking for (with a parking place and close bus/train connections to city center). We also liked the friendly personnel and generally nice atmosphere. All in all, a good ratio between price and what it offers.

Our door (no 350) had sometimes troubles locking when we got out of the room. Unfortunately we only noticed and reported that in our last day. Also, cleaning service knocked on our door at 8:30 in the morning in the day we checked out and actually woke us up. I would expect for the personnel to have a list with what rooms are occupied and until when, and not clean a room in the morning of the check out day.

Very high tech, which can be hard on our generation, 69+, but we learned and survived. Staff was very friendly and helpful. First time ever being checked in at the reception desk which is also a bar by a receptionist who is also a bartender, but it worked out great. I didn't realize how far we were from Copenhagen city center, but once the recept/bartender explained how to use the Metro and how close it was, about a 2 minute walk away, we had no issues. He suggested buying the Copenhagen Card so we where able to ride public transportation for free plus free entry into many attractions. Very glad we did!

Never did figure out the TV and would have liked to have a small frig and coffee maker in the room.

good breakfast very dog friendly! Thé place to be if you're travelling with a dog Great and extremely helpfull staff. Good location near the train station (taking you to the centre of copenhagen in less than 15 minutes.) Good vibe in the hotel! It's basicaly the vibe of a yought hostel with the comfort of a decent hotel.

as mentioned by others: very small bathroom and no wardrobe to put your clothes. Airconditioning continued to blow 17 degrees cool air, which was cold at night and we couldn't turn it off. Parking is expensive (But then again, this is the case everywhere in copenhagen) and upon arrival we heard that none of the electrical recharging stations where in functioning condition. Travellers with EV's beware! At the time of writing you cannot charge your EV!

Hotel is well located, area is clean and nice. It is about 450 m from Sydhavn station. From Sydhavn station to central station it is 2 stops - 5 minutes. By bike it is about 10 minutes - it depends on your speed. You can rent a bike for 300 DKK/day at the hotel, or you can rent a bike in the city f.e. from Donkey Republic for better price. Staff is nice, hotel is modern, clean. Queen Room was perfect choice, it was cleaned every day. At the breakfast, you have choice of milk (fat, light, oat, lactose-free), one yoghurt, a lot of cereals. You have also sausages, eggs, ham, cheese, butter, fruits, vegetables, great FRESH! bread, small pastries (like small croissants, donuts,…), pancakes with jam/nutella. Coffee, tea, water, juices. I think everything what you need :)). So I didn’t understand people who weren’t satisfied with breakfast in the reviews. I think these people are greedy. Copenhagen is beautiful, when you do not choose those crowded places with tourists. The mentality of the Danish people is incomparable with the mentality of Central Europeans, the Danish people are very hospitable and nice.

The hotel was closer to the metro station than I expected, so the location is great. Reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was compact but very clean and practical. The breakfast was nice and diverse. There was a lot of good sushi in the neighbourhood. Would stay here again!

No complaints! I could have used a desk, or even just a tray to prevent my computer from overheating on while sitting in bed. Then again, I didn't ask ... maybe they had one. We were only there for one night but for a longer stay the room might need a mini fridge and coffee/tea stuff.

Clean modern rooms well equipped, great shower. The whole building is very well isolated and soundproof. Even being on the ground floor, the room was very silent. The breakfast buffet offers all you need to have a good start of the day. The access to the train and metro is just a 5 minute walk.

Bike rental is not included and will cost about the same price of a public transport pass... so choose what you prefer. The pillow on the bed was quite small and rather uncomfortable, but I guess that is personal preference

- Moxy brand with designs and stuff in bright purple color look nice - Good idea to have the bar and the check-in counter at the same place - Cool innovation to have the lights around the bed turn on with a movement sensor (quite handy during the night when going to the bathroom) - Good sound isolation with the windows - Private parking was convenient just in front of the hotel (the price of 150 DKK/day is okay in Copenhagen standards)

- The location is a bit further (~3km) from the center, so one needs to use the public transport to get to the busy areas (we downloaded the DOT app to purchase daily tickets and moved around by bus) - The room and the bathroom could be a bit bigger

The hotel was well-decorated and clean. The room was also clean and comfy. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was sufficient. It's not in the city center, but the train station is in 5 min walk. We really liked it.

On our last night at 6 a.m., the emergency alarm started for no reason. With all the other customers, we evacuated the hotel. It was found that there was an error in the system, but it was a bit scary in the first place.

Hotel and staff really great as always. Breakfast was fair. Love all the little things and cocktails you can buy in the reception. 😊

There was a problem with the air conditioning. Previously when I stayed at Moxy it was possible to open the windows in the room. This time, it was not. The only way to air out the room was through the aircon. Unfortunately that didn't work well and in the second day it was way too warm in the room (23.5C). The only option that the staff had was to move me to a different room. Thats just weird if you ask me. Also, there was a problem with booking a room on site. I arrived and wanted a booking on the spot, but that wasn't possible. So I had to make the reservation online while in the hotel lobby. This was a bit strange imho, but maybe it was because of the time of day (11pm).
