The reception staff were very attentive and welcoming, they pushed the boat out and went above and beyond, even at 1am when we arrived. Big thanks to the staff! The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The TV and channel selection was excellent and the amenities were great.

The carpet had a black stain in the middle of it, which worried my wife who suffers with severe OCD during her pregnancy. I know these things take a lot of money to rectify, just letting you know. Also, the tiles in the bathroom had some wear and tear on them, which she was also worried about - incase it was dirty. It wasn’t but it caused her a small amount of stress.

Hotel was clean and facilities were very good, the staff were polite and friendly.

We have an electric car and one of the reasons we booked was because it electric charging points however there was only 1 charging point that was in use so we were unable to charge our car and had to search the area for an alternate charging facility, this was very annoying! Given the size of the hotel and the facilities on offer and the fact that 1 charging point was all that was available we found very disappointing sadly, it did detract from our stay due to we were only there the 1 day to visit family in the area so our time could have been spent better than searching for ev charging points.

average hotel on the outskirts of an average city... In close proximity of the highway and that was handy for my trip purpose. However, charging 5 pounds per day for a basic parking outside seems a small rip off

breakfast served at late hours and at an outreageous price. If not booked in advance at booking, it would go to 20 pounds... for a concentrate orange juice and rehidrated eggs... kind of steep...Not too many details given at check in..except that you have to fill in an electronic form on teh spot to be able to park... Sorina did not let me a chance to breath until I entered the car registration details (difficult task for a rental without the licence attached to the fob)

Exceptionally clean. Modern beautiful room best nights sleep we have had for ages the bed was perfect for us. Lots of little touches. The pool and sauna was an added bonus it was great. Loved all of the staff so helpful and engaged. The evening meal was really good lots of choice the meal came in a very acceptable time and was plentiful and tasty. No issue at all paying 5.00 for the car park I assume it's to stop the race goers and local workers using it so to us it was a reasonable nominal charge but should be mentioned on booking.com. breakfast was great so much choice on hot and cold and loved it was buffet/self service but there were lots of staff around and everything was continually restocked. Did not have any issues at all with noise from other rooms but I always take eye mask and silicone ear plugs when I'm away. Would I stay there again... Absolutely... Used park n ride to go into Cheltenham all in all perfect just wish we could have stayed a few days longer.

There was not one thing that we did not like

The hotel was perfectly situated for our work commitments, allowing us to get a good night sleep even in the pull out bed, with our group booking. The staff were very attentive when minor things needed to be added, were very polite and friendly.

My only gripe was with the restaurant, the food was a little below what is expected, (burnt fries & the garlic bread was rock solid) I did politely mention this and to their credit, the waiter apologized and agreed. Then they not only deducted the fries and garlic bread without me even asking but almost halved the entire restaurant bill, which I felt was more than generous.

The rooms are great, staff were great. Only the food let it down big time.

The set menu for dinner was very limited. I had advised in advance that I had food allergies however when ordering dinner I was left standing for 30 mins whilst the barman made sure about what food I could actually eat as the printed menu provided had wrong formation narrated in it. This needs to be looked at.. I am aware that there were 2 coaches in however most of them appeared to have eaten. It took a further 45 mins for the food to arrive. My husband had ordered fish and chips however the fish provided looked like a Findus frozen fish, it was disgusting, it was all dried out, not what we expected at all. The gammon steak was okay. Also the cooked breakfast was not great, items were overcooked and dried out especially the sausages and bacon.

Breakfast was all that we expected on a breakfast and evening dinner meal deal. Certainly enough fuel for the day. The evening dinner menu (3 courses) was basic for an all inclusive deal but was adequate for our 3 nights stay. Longer, and the menu would have been a bit samey. However, in no way were we disappointed, as the food was delicious. The room was adequate for the two of us but would have felt a little on the small side for a longer stay. The bed was very comfortable and the air con was easy to control. The gym was adequate for a small hotel and the pool was too, except the shallow end, which was very shallow and my partner bumped his knees on the bottom of the pool several times. However, we're not complaining, as one soon gets used to different pools. The staff were superb, each and every one of them, reception, restaurant and cleaning staff, and the hotel was spotless.

We felt a bit uncomfortable when the restaurant staff, on more than one occasion, queried our dining status, stating it was unusual for 3 nights guests to receive 3 dinners, as normally these bookings would include only 1 evening dinner. We mentioned that we booked through booking.com and the meal deal was for all 3 nights. However, the next time we visited the restaurant, the staff worked with a printed list of guests with room numbers and dining preferences, so we felt a little more comfortable then. The food was delicious but the waiting time in between the courses was sometimes lengthy. But again, we're not complaining, as the staff were very busy and the food was worth waiting for.

Our Breakfast and evening meals were excellent had good choice of food, the staff made sure my food was all gluten free, our room was large and clean beautiful cosy bed, the bathroom was easy to get around in a wheelchair loved the shower i pulled the emergency cord by accident and the staff were at the door in less than 30 seconds. We were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and the staff gave us a bottle of wine and congratulations card .Thanks to JULIE and CHARMANE and all the staff at Breakfast. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant on an evening the decor and lighting were amazing will come again.

We enjoyed our stay even our dog loved it we found no negatives

The surroundings were tranquil. Staff were welcoming and anything extra we needed was delivered quickly. Breakfast meal options were varied and the team made sure my food sensitivities were noted and catered for. The size of the sofa bed was very surprising, we didn't expect it to be so big! The mattresses were very comfortable - I wish someone would gift me one for my home 😄😄!! Or maybe one of those wonderful sofa beds 😄😄!! Water and shower pressure were brilliant. I know some properties struggle with low water pressure in the mornings but we didn't have that challenge. Overall it was an amazing stay!

I can't think of anything we didn't enjoy or appreciate on this stay. Maybe just that where the bathroom shower screen meets the wall and tub, that space needs to be blocked somehow as water seeps through it onto the floor.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and well kept and looked after. Public areas were great and looked inviting. Rooms also were very good. One small point is that the usb sockets in the bedside tables don’t work; the ones on the desk do work. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Breakfast was average at best. We were there at 8:30am, and the cooked breakfast looked like it had been sitting there all night. Not at all pleasant and not value for money.
