Fairtrade refreshments in the room and what we saw in the dining room. they recharged the mobility scooter I was hiring from the conference centre ready for next day and stored my wheelchair for use in the hotel behind reception for me. At breakfast I was catered for well as a gluten intolerant person and toast was done separately and safely. The poached eggs were arriving freshly done.

We had a very long wait to register the car when we arrived as only one person on duty (it was 12.20 pm) and had to deal with someone with a lot of questions about the parking. It made us late for our 12.30 event. After the event it took a long wait to check in a 3 pm too. The event was a lunch meeting and it was not at all clear what was gluten free in terms of the sauces etc. The allergen list put together all sorts of grains so for instance wheat and soya was marked in same column as far as I could see, but the printing was faint. At breakfast items in the cooked and chilled section were not allergen labelled. I had to ask about the fried potatoes for instance. But there should have been allergen labels.

The hotel was ideally located for the convention centre, albeit further from the entrance in use for my event than I had expected. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, on-site parking was secure enough that I had complete peace of mind leaving my belongings after checkout.

The mattress on my single bed was harder and lumpier than I would have liked for comfort. I booked a twin room because I was travelling with my father, and I had assumed that the beds would be separated. While it wasn't a major bother to move the beds myself, I hadn't thought that I would need to after a long drive.

The location was excellent. We had come up for the annual knitting and stitching festival in the convention centre - the hotel was next door. The hotel is also away from the main centre, meaning there was very little to no external noise. Parking arrangement was excellent too, which having stayed at some other properties around Harrogate is very unique.

Other than the following two points, the property was perfect in every way: 1. The lifts. Only two of the 3 lifts descend to the parking garage, this I was soon to discover became an issue and resulted in delays in accessing the parking garage. This occurred mostly during breakfast & checking out time. 2. My second issue was more personal - I struggled to sleep due to the temperature of the room - even when turned down to my normal bedroom temperature, I found it too hot. Although it is possible to open the window it was extremely windy and the force of the wind against the open window resulted in a squeaking noise.

Lovely big clean hotel. Smelt lovely!! 5/10 min walk into the centre. The receptionist was lovely. Our room was a good size big bed good size bathroom. Good tv although we only had it on for morning news.

The bed was so uncomfortable. Think I saw every hour clock watching as I couldn’t get comfortable. I didn’t say anything as we didn’t get to bed til late. My husband thought it was comfortable though! The room wasn’t 💯 clean. I had to clean the sink out as they had missed bits and the carpet could have done with a hoover but that could just be me being picky! But the bed sheets were lovely and fresh!

breakfast and food was lovely , it was always hot and plenty of choice , room was perfect with large super king bed , our room 802 was at the end of the corridor so was very quiet, so we had no disturbances ,

there are only 3 lifts and at busy times could not cope with so many people either going one way or the other, mainly breakfast and dinner times or when customers where checking out and trying to get to the underground car park carpet in our room unfortunately had a few bad stains on and the bath shower screen leaked badly even with the screen inside the bath edge

The room was really nice and very clean, breakfast was good and although busy was well managed with food constantly topped up.

We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on our first night and even though it wasn't busy the service was very slow. After being shown to a table we sat there for nearly 10 minutes before anybody came over to take a drinks order then 20 minutes later I had to remind them about drinks which finally arrived almost 30 minutes after sitting down. When the food finally arrived it was piping hot and was very nice. I was overcharged by £50 at check-out which when I returned to reception and queried was refunded although a week later it still hasn't gone back into my account which considering it was their error is pretty poor.

Couldn’t fault this hotel at all… Location is brilliant, right in the centre just a short walk to everything! Parking was super easy! Directly under the hotel is a car park with a separate entrance for hotel residents clearly sign poster. You take a lift from the car park into the hotel so no need to go outside. Pay £12 at the hotel for 24 hours. Honestly parking could not be easier. Rooms were spacious and clean. Huge beds that were really comfy. Had a great nights sleep. Bathrooms again spotless and modern. Lobby and bar are really nicely decorated. Breakfast catered for all and was tasty. Staff were all friendly and helpful. 10/10 will definitely book again when we come back to Harrogate.

Great location. On site parking and 24hr cost was reasonable.Well maintained. Helpful professional staff. Accomodated request for room on lower floor. Very clean. Spacious room. Comfy. Didn't have breakfast or use the bar. Great functional hotel n value for money. Would recommend

Room very warm despite turning control down/off. No face cloths.Hospitality tray limmited choice. Yuk UHT milk. Sparkling complimentary water only. Nice touch Kitkats not great one crushed. Biscuit option poor. Stayed to attend Christmas Market which we did pre Covid n it was fab. It's totally changed and is dire won't reviisit or recommend!. Not hotel fault but will impact.

Excellent breakfast. The room was spectacular (920). The bed was huge and so comfortable.

The Restaurant for dining in the evening.I ordered Classic burger with SKIN ON CHUNKY CHIPS. I was served a classic burger with French Fries.. My wife ordered a dessert and as she did so I ordered a pint of Stella (No list of beers available, just word of mouth). My wife had eaten her dessert and my pint had still not appeared. It came as I was about to complain. The reason? I had to change the keg! That is why I did not pay SERVICE CHARGE

Good location, large room, great atmosphere in the bar area, lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. The guy behind the bar at night certainly knew his stuff and was really friendly and professional. Parking was straightforward and fairly reasonable cost (although I do question whether hotel guests should have to pay at all).

I asked for a double bed as we were on a romantic break. We checked in not long after 3pm and saw plenty of people staying for work so didn’t think it would be an issue. We were given a room with two single beds put together. I went back to reception to ask for a double. Although they were polite, they kept saying “you only paid for a standard”. It made me feel a little embarrassed. I don’t think wanting a double bed is too much to ask for a £100 a night stay. We did finally get one. The only other slight negative is that the pillows were uncomfortable. Other than that we had a great stay.
