We stayed here after the value was better than a well known chain . We certainly were not disappointed . Arrived on a very cold night . Room was lovely . Huge . Spotless . Kettle provided along with some biscuits . Bathroom was again tastefully done and clearly newly renovated . Would definitely return again

If any negative it would be parking . Limited and not much room either . We parked on the main road if you resort to main road ensure you check the parking times and fees

The hotel is beautiful I can't speak for all rooms we stayed in a deluxe double and it was beautiful loads of space really comfy bed clean and warm location is brilliant right in the centre and easy to find we really enjoyed our stay and will be back

Parking is a nightmare as can't book and even we arrived there was no space but multi story is a 2 minute drive away and only £13 for 24 hours

The location of this hotel was fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Staff were welcoming on arrival. Breakfast was really good too!

We had never stayed here before and it said there was paid parking available - we didn’t realise there would be so few spaces so they had all gone by the time we arrived to check in. That being said, the reception staff were very helpful and directed us to a nearby multi story car park which was only 6 minutes walk away. The room was also very hot and stuffy, we could’ve done with a fan in there.

Central very comfortable hotel, good breakfast and lovely staff. Bit surprised we had to pay £15 for parking as we were residents, this was the only thing that would put us off going back.

Very small but very comfortable with all the facilities you need and all well positioned within the room. Very conveniently near the town centre. God parking available.

I recently stayed at the Yorkshire Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. It’s a lovely, traditional hotel with a charming character, perfectly located in the heart of Harrogate. While parking is limited, this wasn’t an issue as there’s plenty of on-street parking nearby, which is affordable. Although I didn’t dine at the hotel, my room was beautifully presented, clean, and very comfortable. The bar area was welcoming, and the staff there were especially friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I’d happily recommend the Yorkshire Hotel to anyone looking for a cosy, well-located place to stay in Harrogate.

Parking but not a crtitism.

Hotel room was modern, clean and fresh with everything we needed for a relaxing break. It was my birthday weekend so I was just looking to get away with my girlfriend for a couple of nights and this hotel ticked all the boxes. Great central location, easy to find and had front parking we could see the car from the room. Staff were friendly and efficient, cleaners did a great job topping up supplies of tea and coffee plus towels and shower gel & shampoo, also tidied the bed and emptied the bins it was a breath of fresh air to return from a day out to a sorted room. Quiet also no noise from any of the other rooms or guests, didn't eat in the restaurant but I heard good things from the other guests. Overall would stay again if visiting this city as it was spot on.

Only thing I can say is the shower wasn't very powerful, we took showers early morning, daytime and late nights and it remained the same just very weak pressure made for a slightly underwhelming experience but that is my only thing I can comment on. Maybe it was running an old system or something but it certainly was not like I'm used to in my own home. If the shower was power that would have been immense and would give the hotel a 10/10 but this just drops it down to 9.5/10 - just to be clear I had no other issues at all.

The reception, bar and lounge were beautiful and well appointed parts of the Hotel. The Hotel was in a superb location to explore the town. The young people on reception were all very friendly and helpful especially Amber. Breakfast was also excellent

My single bedroom was poor. It was small and there was a very small TV placed at an awkward angle. The room was on the front of the Hotel and you could hear people shouting on the streets until after midnight. My heater broke down but thankfully the helpful Amber from reception brought me a free standing one and set it up for me

Location couldn’t be better for all town centre amenities. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself looked spectacular with Christmas decorations. The bed was big and comfortable.

Our room was one of the cheapest options and was at the back of the hotel with some noise from local bars in the evening which became a problem when we had to keep the window open all the time to cool the room down as it was much to hot. There was a fan in the room to help with this problem which I assume was there to help alleviate this issue.

Location is great. The room was a good size, 2 comfy chairs to sit on, which was a bonus. Tea and coffee in room. All usual services. It was good to have a fan as it was warm weather. Good that the windows opened. Nice big windows, good view. Nice walk i n shower. Staff all friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast available. Good bar and restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Plenty space. Good TV with access to Netflix

Bed mattress hard to me - though wasn't a problem for partner. Pillows not soft enough. The shower was good, but it needs a shelf as you end up balancing bottles on shower parts. No phone in room to reception. Car parking charge excessive at £15 per day for guests. Decor VERY grey. some variance , especially on the corridors where everything is grey would be welcome. - just my preference, I know. Rooms okay.
