The location at this hotel is fantastic. It is the 3rd time i have stayed there. i went with 3 friends and we had 2 single rooms and a double. All were well equipt with a fridge and a fan - we needed to ask for a kettle but i knew that before we went so was not a problem. My single room was fantastic with a small balcony over looking the market square - but was noisy when they were setting up. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as we were running ParkRun at 09:00hrs on the Saturday morning. It was a very hot weekend and the rooms could have done with aircon.

Aircon would have been nice but fans were provided. It is an old building and I can see why it doesn't have it. One of the rooms ran out of toilet paper!

The location is perfect, in the very centre of Bonn, surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Public transport possibilities nearby. The breakfast in the 1st floor is excellent and you can watch the marketplace of Bonn from the window while you are taking your meal.

It is a 450 year old hotel, so do not expect modernity. The floor is squeaking a bit, the room shape is not rectangular, but this means the flair of the hotel. There was no air conditioning in the room, so I do not know how hot it is in the summertime. In the beginning of June it was perfect if we opened the windows for the night.

The only way this hotel could be MORE centrally located is when it was placed atop the Beethoven memorial!. An enormously convenient location makes this the perfect basecamp for exploring Bonn. The main sights are all within easy reach (sometimes even within sight) and if you venture further afield, all public transportation options are just a short walk away. The hotel itself feels slightly outdated in terms of facilities, but it's clean, spacious, and with a friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Breakfast is extra. But they advertise this beforehand, so that cannot be a surprise.

A very nice hotel in a superb location, in the middle of Bonn, close to various public transport options including central station. Breakfast was very good, rooms have a modern interior and are well appointed despite it being an old (but very nice) building. Layout of the room I was in with the shower and half bath on both side of entrance is a bit unusual.

I can imagine the room being too warm on nice summer days and nights. You have to account for some city noise being right on the square above /near several restaurants with terraces. (Nice though!)

Very centrally placed, a short walk from the bus or train stations, and plenty of eating places outside the hotel. Clean and friendly staff. Good breakfast

The toilet and shower rooms are separate but adjacent to each other, wjth a separate door closing the two from the main room. As stated in the details of the hotel there is a separate hand wash basin in the main room, which is not a problem during the day but if you need to use it at night then you need to turn the lights on which disturbs your partner. Theres no air con in the room, only a free standing pedestal fan. We were too warm in May so I would not think it is too comfortable during summer. BTW as the room we stayed in overlooked the busy square outside it can be noisy as well as nog letting in any air during the summer months.

The location is very convenient and the room was very quiet, facing an inner courtyard. Clean and comfortable.

Strange old-fashioned room keys with big heavy keyrings… like out of the 1950s. Very impractical to carry around. They should replace them with electronic cards. Also, if you’re a woman, it’s hard to hang your clothes on the large clothes hangers in the room, which are clearly made for men’s shirts.

The breakfast was excellent! It was rich and very tasty. The location was perfect. Right at the old town's marketplace with a magnificent view from the balcony. The room was nice. It was clean and comfortable.

The room was a bit too small. It was actually smaller than I expected - especially the toilet. But other than that, everything was great. It was still comfortable all in all, and the location makes up for all the little imperfections.

Awesome location right in the middle of the shopping area/sights. The price was very reasonable for the location and the staff was helpful and friendly. Very old building with history.

The room was too warm (August), but a fan was available to keep cool. Because of the location, the noise from the plaza was there, mostly people yelling. Very small WC and shower, but renovated and well working.

I travelled with my family and they loved the excellent location in the heart of the city, next to main city sights, river and shops. We managed to get a good feeling for the city in 3 days.

The breakfast could include some more options for children.

Excellent location for exploring the Christmas market. Public parking nearby was easy to find with plenty of spaces. No noise from the busy streets below. Beautiful spacious room with comfy beds and lovely deep bath.

Shower was a little bit low for people over 6 foot.
