It was the best hotel in my life! Lissy and Rainer took care of me as if I were visiting family! The hotel looks like an elegant home! It has an elevator, though I didn’t need to use it. A clean and cosy room in a beautiful house, with tea, coffee, and a kettle provided. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The soundproofing was excellent. The room is actually much more spacious than it looks in the photos. The bathroom was spacious, with clean towels. Frau Lissy herself prepares and serves breakfast, and they were fantastic! I also loved the terrace and the garden, which she tends to with so much love. But the most important thing is the attitude toward the guests! I had to leave very early, so Frau Lissy prepared sandwiches for me! Thank you for your care and for our conversations! I wish you good health and prosperity for your hotel! I will definitely come back one day!

I liked everything!

This small hotel is really well located right in the centre of Bonn. It is very quirkily decorated, with a modern bathroom with good shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet with amazing bread plus fresh strawberries, yogurt, meat and cheese, and eggs. It was very tasty with plentiful coffee. The main draw of this hotel are the lovely owners, so welcoming.

Nothing. The decor is different from what I would choose, but it made it feel like staying at the home of a charming, quirky friend.

Great small hotel right next to Aldstadt run by beautiful couple who were an absolute pleasure to meet. Room was perfect, with a fan provided which certainly helped in the hot evening. Breakfast was carefully prepared and was plentiful for our cycling journey. Bikes were able to be securely stored inside the hotel and a lift to the room was great. Felt like leaving old friends, who provided local travel information and genuinely wished us well - thank you! Definitely recommend to all

Hotel Löhndorf is a small, unpretentious 2 star property with a very unassuming entry and a vibe that initially threw me back to traveling in Germany in the late 80s - a bit squeezed, perhaps a little hard to navigate for non-native speakers. But the rooms themselves are modernised, everything - towels, bedding, mattress, sockets, lighting - is of good quality. What really makes the place special is the warmth of the couple who run it. Excellent breakfast, absolutely central yet quiet location in the heart of Bonn, and very reasonably priced. I will be back!

The location was a 1 minute walk to the pedestrian part of the city. The unit we stayed in also had a private terrace with a table, chairs and plenty of plants, making it a perfect location to relax after exploring the city.

When we stayed it was 97 Fahrenheit and the unit had no air conditioning , but that is expected in Europe. The bedroom had a portable fan, which made it bearable. To be fair the unit wasn't advertised as having AC and in Germany it usually isn't 97 Fahrenheit, so for 99% of the year this wouldn't be an issue.

We LOVED the unique and lovely garden. It's covered so lovely even in the rain! What a great retreat just steps away from Bonn's iconic market square. The furniture isn't all brand new but it is full of character, like getting to stay in the home of a (very clean) artist. The staff/ owners were absolutely warm and hospitable - just lovely! They are even mailing our daughters cherished hand-made doll back to us. A level of warmth and service unapparelled in all my visits to Germany!

A lovely stay for a couple of days exploring Bonn. The apartment we had was very central (a few metres from the Rathaus and market square) and also incredibly quiet. The owners were lovely- very supportive and kind- they provided us with English breakfast tea on request, remembered how we took our eggs in the morning and kept our luggage safe until we left for the airport. They were there in case of any questions we had. The apartment was comfortable and had everything you needed. Beds were comfy- two single beds pushed together, so perhaps a better set up for slightly older guests or friends but we slept very well. Definitely recommend this place. The breakfast was delicious too- freshly made & everything you need!

Hotel Löhndorf is a little gem in the centre of Bonn. The location is very central but also quiet at night. The hotel has recently been renovated to a high standard. There is an underground public parking garage very near the hotel, so no problem carrying one's luggage. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and they provide a varied and excellent breakfast. There is a terrace for the warmer months. We fully recommend this hotel.

At the price, everything was perfect.

The apartment was wonderfully spacious and clean. The hotel is run by a husband and wife who are both extremely kind and accommodating, it felt like a slice of home on my travels. The hotel is very centrally located and perfect for those commuting by train, metro or bus. The breakfast was simple, but more than ample and very well prepared. Overall I highly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Löhndorf.

The room was was equipped ( with every conceivable little detail (hairdryer, even iron and small ironing board). The hotel's location is ideal if one wants to be close to the center (the minster, the town hall, the university). The two owners were truly exceptional -- very friendly, very helpful, to repeat: really exceptional. -- Breakfast was also excellent (prepared by the owner lady) and - since it was a nice July day -- served on a beautiful maintained terrace. --- As someone who has stayed - even lived for months - in Bonn, I had not known this hotel It is truly excellent.
