Nice location, nice room, friendly reception staff

While there was one extremely friendly, I encountered two very rude, unfriendly and unhelpful staff at the pool/spa reception. One woman with a ponytail literally rolled her eyes on me, didn't give me full information, didn't look at my face and just seemed grumpy. She needs some training for sure. That spoiled my mood for a bit.

The spa, indoor pool and outdoor pool was excellent. The location on the green and quiet oasis of Margaret island, in the middle of the Danube, was great. There are restaurants and bars on the Island within 15 mins walk. The breakfast was good. The view from Hotel balcony was excellent for me (park and Danube views towards Pest side).

The Hotel should do a free shuttle service into downtown Buda and Pest

We received a friendly, speedy and welcoming greeting when checking in. A special mention to Christian ( apologies if I’ve got name slightly incorrect) for the very kind offer of a complimentary drink on arrival for the occasion of our 40th wedding anniversary. Nice touch and very welcome. The view from our room on the 8th floor overlooking the Danube river was lovely. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The hotel is within the beautiful grounds of Margaret Island. The spa / wellness facilities are superb . The thermal pool at 38* is equally perfect and having a neurological medical condition made me feel wonderful. This hotel has it spot on in every department. Staff : friendly and helpful Food : excellent 👌 A real thumbs up from me and not a case of if we go back but when. The hotel manager should be congratulated on the running of this hotel and the quality of his staff.

Very nice hotel, modern and comfortable rooms (we booked a premium double room in the 5th floor) with a lot of storage, warm with controllable temperature, large windows with a view to the garden and the Danube, big bathroom etc. The breakfast buffet contained everything you can imagine for a breakfast, in a location with a Danube view. Of course you will benefit of the thermal baths, in an indoor pool (in the summer there is an outdoor one as well) which is open from 7 am to 9 pm, again with a magnificent view. Most of the days we stayed in the hotel, we were visiting the pools twice a day, before breakfast and after 8 pm. There is a bus stop next to the hotel (line nbr 26), running every 20 minutes, which is very convenient, and you’ll find connections to other bus, tram and metro lines to both Buda and Pest. The only problem with it, is that the last bus leaves from the starting point in the railway station at 22:03 pm (at least in the winter), hence you need to leave the centre before that time, if you use public transport. All in all, a very good value for money, if you book in advance.

This is my second stay in the hotel. Clean, very good facilities, huge selection at breakfast. Yet it's located on island not near the center, it's well connected by transportation and easy access through bus. Highly recommended.

Very well cleaned and decorated. Easy access to the city center with public transportations but it's located on the greenery island so that it was quiet and beautiful. We loved inside thermal pools and breakfast place most. Plus Croissant Sandwitches (Room Service) was wonderful. We ordered twice :-) We could experience Eastern European tycial dense fog and see lots of people run or walk in there which looked very healthy and beautiful.

I would avoid the restaurant as the food is poor and very overpriced - Maybe it's as it is late season but they only offer a buffet option for around 8000 HUF ( Circa £25) per person and the food quality is poor and limited with no starters and a limited selection of mains - The restaurant prices are not displayed and when the restaurant manager was asked how much and what do you get he started telling us how much food in town costs which is always a worry as I wasn't asking for other prices just his - We ate as were tired after running & enjoying the Budapest marathon activities so decided to bite the bullet but really wish we hadn't Shame as the breakfast (especially the omelettes and fruit) were very good

This wasn't our first time as it is the perfect place for a short, relaxing break. Just staying at the hotel and going for a walk in the surrounding area is perfect.

Children weren't monitored well, and there were occasions when young children were jumping in the Jacuzzi. Even in the pool where there is a sign that no children under 14 are allowed, children were diving.

Very good hotel with nice River view, excellent breakfast a lot of choices verity of foods, nice beautiful island if you like play sports like walk, run,... etc.

A solid 4. The restaurant (breakfasts) - on top, except for waiters who can take plates from behind your back (this is unacceptable). Pools and thermal waters (the essence of my vacation) - above all praise. Who wants to just relax in the thermal waters and spa, my recommendation.

The air conditioning was not working in the room, while it was hot, I was informed that due to the month (October) everything was already turned off in the hotel. There were stains on the carpet and curtains. The safe was blocked, I waited 2 hours for the safe to be fixed, so I couldn't leave the room.
