Breakfast was fabulous and the staff went above and beyond to help us find our way around Iceland! Gold Star to Lavinia who took SUCH good care of us and helped us book excursions! Thank you so much!

Would’ve liked access to ice machines on the floor and there was no exhaust fan in our bathroom

We stayed at this hotel because central city hotels were fully booked and were very pleasantly surprised. Excellent breakfast offered a wide array of fresh foods and Icelandic specialties! Hotel is clean, modern, unpretentious. Warm, helpful front desk staff.

Room (triple) a little tight but okay. Location of hotel requires driving a car or taking a bus to get to sights.

Very professional and friendly, kind staff. Breakfast is good. The hotel is well connected by public bus lines to the city centre.

The restaurant is too crowded and too noisy during breakfast. The hotell is too basic and too simple for such a price.

Free parking, The breakfast is awesome: Consistent, hot, fresh ingredients, and good European-style variety. The hotel is light filled and the staff is always welcoming and polite. The rain shower is great, except...

The shower heads need to be decalcified with vinegar. We stayed in two rooms and they both have this problem where the shower head streams shoot all different directions because of mineral build up in the shower head jets. It's a small critique, but just one of those cleaning details that has an impact on the experience. Location not ideal if you want to be in the center of town during your stay, you'll need to walk 20 mins to reach the edge of downtown.

The breakfast was very good choice & quality, we enjoyed our breakfast every morning before we set off to explore Iceland. A good sized triple room, requested all the bed to be separated and they were done so, the beds were positioned were we all happy. The room was very clean and catered to daily! The staff were excellent very approachable credit to you all, they were very helpful especially one young lady who helped us organise our day with recommendations and transfers, we have a lot of good memories and enjoyed every bit of the day!

Nothing to dislike!

A clean and comfortable hotel with great breakfast.

No air conditioning or even ventilation: no air flow in the room whatsoever so stuffy indoor air. you have to keep the window open most of the time which may be inconvenient when it’s really cold outside. Staff was quite passive, didn’t always greet when you pass by and didn’t get the usual check-in speech with instructions on how to get around the city, where to find restaurants etc. Hairdryer was missing from the room and when I asked for one they gave me a faulty one that nearly electricuted me. After that I got one that worked. I was mislead a bit: checked before hand if I can buy a city card at the reception and they said yes. Turned out that you can pay in the reception but you still need to pick up the card somewhere in the center.

Staff friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was very comprehensive, a lot of choice. Room clean and comfortable. Hotel is a little out of the city centre but it was ideal for me - my plans were for very close by. Car parking was available next to the hotel and there were a number of restaurants only a short walk away.

Limited choice of beverages at the bar. Road noise from main road if room is at the front and a window is opened.

It was one of the best hotels of my stay during this holiday and in top 3 of hotels during my visits to Iceland ;) For the price what you get it was awesome. You can see it is one of the newer hotels. Excellent single room for solo traveller, bed, shower and even toilet. Enough powerpoint to charge your telephone. Maybe the best room I ever had in Iceland . Check out around 12.00 is excellent if you have a late flight back, so you don't have to hurry and can sleep longer especially of you have a heavy tour the day before. Great view also :) Sometimes is better to pay a little more for your accomondation (if you can affort it).

Curtains in the room are not really blinded (or how you call it). So when coming in mid summer you have to bring sleepmask for better sleep. I did that :)

Breakfast buffet was good, and included scrambled eggs and bacon, so more than just cold buns and cheese. But no smoked salmon, which is included in the best nordic-style buffets in other hotels. On-site free (i.e. included) parking was essential for our rented car. Of course, you trade-off location. The hotel is a bit too far from shopping and city attractions for easy walking. So you need the car, or the city bus (good if you know how to pay for it - we don't).

Room usually comfortable, but one day/night sweltering hot for no apparent reason. No A/C in Iceland. (None anywhere.) So people along the corridor all propped their doors open, which allowed air to flow. As a person who uses crutches, the shower is unfriendly or even treacherous. No bars to grip while the floor is awash with slippery soap. Nordic design is clean and simple. Everything is rectangular. Most everything is white. No ornamentation. Some love it; I find it cold.

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing, very fresh and always topped up. Lots of choice. One gripe however is that they advertise a ‘breakfast box’ for early departures for flights / trips etc, but then try to charge over 2000 krona for it 🤣 Shame because there are times you will miss the breakfast because of this. They do put some plain croissants out with coffee but they’re a bit dry, no butter / jam etc. Location was good enough, 10-15 mins walk into town then once you’re there Reykjavik is very small / walkable. Plus there are restaurants nearby, the pizza place next door is good.
