Nice comfortable place to stay. There are several restaurants nearby.

The building houses two hotels and it wasn't easy to find the entrance at first. I called and a very nice staff person helped us to find it and get our key.

Clean, new furniture, comfy bed, good heating system. Common area in ground floor has free tea/coffee/chocolate as well as microwave, toaster. There were even some snacks that other people left in order not to waste food. The design of the common area and stairs has interesting facts about Iceland, I,ve learned a lot of new facts 😁 There’s also a laundry room fully equipped, you don’t need to buy anything

Nice clean hotel with great facilities. We arrived before check-in time and there was a place to store luggage, a comfy room to sit down and have a free hot chocolate from the coffee machine, and also toilets on the second floor we could use before we got into our room. There's a supermarket nearby and a few places to eat. The room was very nice with everything we needed for our stay. There is no reception but a phone that can be used to call the manager, though we didn't need to use it. The hotel is about a half hour walk from the centre of Reykjavik so we hired e-scooters to get into town, though the bus was also an option. Parking outside the hotel was free and easy when we picked up our rental car.

Loved my ground floor room! very clean with very comfortable bed, fridge. Free laundry with free detergent. Very nice community area with tables, free coffee/tea/hot chocolate, microwave, toaster. Great location. Great staff! Teresa helped me to figure out bus routes and provided great recommendations! Thank you!

I liked everything!

Loved the self service concept, room was super comfortable. We spent 2 nights but could have stayed more without any problems. Location is great, in a quiet area. Free coffee, hot chocolate tea etc...

I have never rated a stay so highly as this one. Ole the manager and owner is a fantastic host and a lovely person to speak to. The hotel has everything you need from a self service perspective, including great free tea and coffee, a toaster, a microwave etc. It was spotlessly clean, and I love the self-serve concept. Perfectly located if you’re hiring a car, with ample parking around the hotel. The accessible room was fantastic and had loads of space for a wheelchair to get around, and the bathroom is great. We had an accessible parking space right next to the door which was great (thank you Ole for sorting this out)!

A great hotel! Extremely clean, staff is super friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel is self service, the manager is available to answer any questions and help. Coffee and hot chocolate are free in the kitchen on the ground floor. Coffee is very good (freshly ground grains). There is also a microwave, toaster and panini maker available. Washer and drier available as well as detergent. Small fridge available in room which is great! Storage for your bags as well is free of charge. Location is great only 5-10 minutes walking from the city center or 5 minutes by bus.

That is a fantastic hotel, in a DIY style. I mean, frontdesk is not available 24/7, room service is limited and so on. Keep that in mind and understand that if you want staff at your disposal and traditional hotel services, this may not be for you. But if like me, you're fine at your own, this is a great hotel! Rooms are big, confortable and clean. The living area is nice and the free coffee is always nice. Although not always at front desk, the staff is always availables through other means.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, and moving around in this city is not particularly easy.

How easy self check in was , we were sent a code for the front door then a seperate code for a lock box located in the entryway to get your keys to your room, from arriving at the hotel to being in our room took 2 minutes, so easy. Room was spotless clean & the whole hotel was nice & warm. Beds & pillows very comfortable. Everything you need is there in your room, so handy having a mini fridge & full size hairdryer, if you need anything extra , more towels etc it's all there for you to access but there is staff around if you need them. Plenty of sockets & usb ports for charging electronics. The communal kitchen area was perfect for making your own breakfast each morning or some soup after a night out in the cold & there's a sink area & cloth for you to wipe down your table/counter area after use. Free tea/coffee/hot chocolate 24/7 is a great perk. There's a supermarket close by where we bought milk, bread, eggs , butter & fruit for our breakfast each morning & it was not very expensive. If you are booking tours & Hotel Muli does not come up as an option then select Hilton Nordica for your pick up, it's less than a minutes walk away. This was our first time coming across a self service hotel so it was all new to us but it exceeded our expectations , it's a great idea that actually works really well. I loved this hotel & will stay here on my planned return trip next year.
