Great central location! All the staff were so helpful especially Bea on the front desk as we checked in!
We didn’t have any water for aprox 2 hours one night, but the gentleman on the front desk did a great job ensuring we were able to get to have a shower, not sure what happened but he was great in attending to this so swiftly

Upon arrival the staff member who greeted me was incredibly friendly and put me at ease, talked me through the different aspects of the hotel I may have asked questions about, was very upfront about the noise from the pub downstairs- there were earplugs in the bedside drawer, for my convenience. The propery itself was awash with charm and very interesting, my room was very cosy and comfortable. The breakfast in the restaraunt downstairs had been described to me by that same staff member as phenomenal, and she did not oversell it. It was absolutely delicious! Also, the water pressure in the shower was AMAZING ! And the choice of complimentary shampoo and conditioner, being the Rituals brand, felt very luxurious. Location cannot be beat, either. Next time I'm in Dublin, I'll absolutely be booking into Kelly's.
I run quite warm, and even though the windows had been opened for ventilation before I arrived, I found the room was quite warm. Then again, if I'm honest, I reasoned the lack of air conditioning to the status of the complex as converted Georgian townhouses - it would be so difficult to facilitate the installation of aircon without massively disrupting the convenience of patrons staying in the hotel.

The Breakfast was a real surprise! Very tasty, very good, delicious! The bed was very comfortable. Location was really good, everything is near, you can reach most tourist spots by foot. The stuff is really kind and polite. We couldn't charge our phones in our room so the receptionist kindly gave as suitable charger. Our room was on the inner side of the building so we didnt hear the noise from the street so we slept like babies. There is free tea and coffee in the room. Wifi was good.
No hotel slippers in the room. The shower had a fixed head (we like movable one). Traditionally there are two devided pipes in the bathrom, one for cold water, one for hot water. The floor is wooden and you can hear people walking in other rooms. But these are just little things we didn't like, at the end of the day we were very happy with our stay.

I think it’s ok . Nothing really ostentatious but it serves a purposes and the location is fantastic
The manager . The rest of the staff specially Bea was LOVELY !!!! She was so accommodating and helpful specially when I came back yesterday from a 12 hour tour and in the middle of the day the manager called to charge me €399 for one night or she was to put all my personal belongings in a bag to be collected at reception because I forgot to book another night on the hotel . I mean . What ?! That level of stress when I was miles away . Thankfully Bea rectified the error , made amendments and we could get a better outcome of all this situation .

Fantastic location! Short walk to Dublin Castle and the other attractions, and easy access to public transportation. Staff was so friendly! Beds were super comfy. I was traveling with friends and family and we had 4 rooms booked over a weekend. Yes, the rooms are a little small, yes there was noise, there is no elevator, and there was no climate control, but I knew that when booking. I knew it was a "boutique hotel" in an old building and was not looking for a "Holiday Inn" experience. We received several emails from the hotel reminding me that it could be loud and there was no lift before we arrived. From my room I heard "white noise" in the evening from people talking in the establishment with outside dining below us - it was like one would hear in a crowded restaurant - it didn't keep me awake and I didn't need earplugs. We ran the fan and kept the window closed. Those in our group who had street side facing rooms had a bit more noise, especially Saturday evening, but we were all able to sleep just fine. We didn't book breakfast with our reservation, but did add it for our first day. It was a very nice breakfast for a fair price. We also booked a bus tour through an affiliate of the hotel and that was a lot of fun.

I loved the location for the price that we had paid. It was smack bang in the middle of a hopping town full of bars and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was clean full of amenities that you would typically find in a hotel. The hotel is also connected to Bar With No Name which was handy!
It would be great to have air conditioning in the rooms especially during summer months as it can get very hot. We couldn't also open our windows to get air into the room so it would get quite stuffy when hot. Our shower door was quite flimsy and when pulled to close it felt like it was about to fall apart.

Fantastic location Room was large with everything we needed (en suite bathroom, wardrobe, hair dryer, kettle etc) Breakfast was divine and a lovely addition to our stay Yes the bars nearby are noisy but if you want to stay in central Dublin, what do you expect?! It didn't affect our stay in the slightest, we still had an exceptional sleep as the bed was so comfy and we were tired from travelling / exploring. Staff were friendly and always available if needed. The perfect spot for a break in Dublin!

The hotel is located next to aye busstop which was quite handy because we came straight away all the way from the airport that day. The staff was really nice :-). We had breakfast included and had to leave quite early on the last day. So they arranged aye breakfast for to go - which was really kind!
Our room was facing the backyard and close to the kitchen from the bar below. So we had the whole time the smell of the kitchen meals in our room. We told the staff about it and they offered us as soon as they had available rooms to change the room.

Receptionist (Marie) was very welcoming, helpful and kind. The location was amazing, in that there were so many places to walk to/see/shop at nearby.
They mentioned several times that they are in a noisy area. However, I had (wrongly) assumed the noise would only be on the Friday and Saturday evenings when live music went late. But there was a lot of street noise overall every night, even into the late hours. The ear plugs they provided came in very handy. Also, a small fridge in the room would have been amazing.
