The breakfast was 1st class. Staff so friendly and helpful. I do want to mention Gabriel in reception he was exceptional!! Would like to mention 2 other lady staff but I didnt take their names, one was in the bar the lady was in the restaurant.

Perhaps the area, i was unaware of north and south of the river! However, it didnt matter to us for a short break.

Excellent room , very clean , water and biscuits a lovely complimentary touch since last time i stayed , great bathroom . overall excellent hotel . Your member of staff Gabriel was particularly helpful , curtious with some help we needed. Asset to your hotel .

The hotel is close to Dublin's city centre, just 10-15 minutes walk to O'Connell Street and Jervis Shopping Centre.

Sometimes, the room can be a bit dry, so it would be great if the AC system could set the level of humidity.

Room was quiet even though was at front of hotel overlooking the main road. Was noisy when opened window. Friendly staff at meal times. Liked there was a restaurant which we used twice in the evening. A good selection at breakfast time though this was often very busy and had to wait to be seated. Quite often items needed to be replenished. As a vegetarian, found there was choice. Would have liked more pastries as ones I liked often empty baskets.

Uncomfortable pillows. Had a couple of stained bathroom towels. No sky/cable TV. Just Irish channels which made National and international news hard to acquire. Distance to main sites. Hotel at far end of North side of river. Not as close to attractions as thought. The initial impressions of the area were a bit off putting. Run down top end of street and massage parlour across the road didnt instil a lot of confidence. However, road was busy with bus stops used by many and generally felt safe. It’s a shame the massage parlours lower the tone.

Excellent service with charming staff. Great restauran and breakfast. Clean. Round the corner from the Hugh Lane Gallery which also has a great cafe with home cooked food for snacks or lunch.

The duvets were far too thick for this air conditioned room. Sweltering so we hardly slept all week. The hotel is situated on an extremely busy main road so again impossible to sleep with open windows due to noise. For these reasons wouldn't stay again. The decor - dark brown - could do with a revamp. A pity because other Maldron's we've stayed in are excellent all round. The area is slightly down at heel (a contrast with Parnell Square's illustrious history) and a little away from city centre.

The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were comfortable with several amenities (even an iron!). Nice to have tea and coffee everyday in the room. The location was superb, close to everything!

It would be nice if the sheets were changed more often. In our whole stay(5 days), they didn't change them. The cups were not renewed too. We had to wash them with just water so we can drink again from the same one. The floor would also need a little freshening up every other day I guess! So the cleanliness was clearly an issue. Oh and it didn't have a fridge! I thought that it was essential for all hotels. I needed to keep my baby's milk inside, it went bad sooner and I had to throw it away everytime.

The room was very clean, the lay out of the room was perfect for 4 friends traveling together it afforded everyone with privacy while allowing us all to stay together, when we returned from our show we ordered Pizza's from the bar which was a great bonus and I must say all the food we had including lunch when we arrived was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Dublin and know that everyone in the party were equally impressed, from food, location, friendly professional staff, comfortable and clean stylish rooms its 10/10 from my party.

In most American hotels, a family room would mean a suite with beds in separate rooms, so I was surprised to see a big room with three queen beds. It wasn’t a problem, but you should know! It felt like a family slumber party. The hotel itself is very secure. You need a key to enter different room blocks in the hotel. And it’s central enough that it’s easy to walk to the main attractions on this and the other side of the river. If you don’t like walking, the hop on hop off bus tours last stop is quite nearby.

We seemed to be having plumbing issues as the toilet smelled terrible on our second night and the shower kept gurgling. Another annoyance was the thermostat that kept lighting up throughout the night and it was VERY bright.

Property was clean and fresh, the aesthetic was nice on the eye and the bedding was nice and crisp. The bathroom was beautiful, I’m a sucker for good lighting and a fantastic mirror - it certainly came through on my tick list. The shower!! Fantastic, great pressure and two brilliant heads with worked wonders with washing such thick long hair. We stayed in one of the master rooms and it was incredibly spacious with large beds. Fantastic tea and coffee options in the bedroom and lounge area. Breakfast was a 10/10 many great options and cooked to perfection. Nothing was overcooked nor undercooked and seemed to be changed to fresh food very frequently. With many options of juices and waters, cooked and pastry’s - was a fantastic eat.

There wasn’t much not to like at the hotel, everything was to perfection and the staff hold their job in high regards.
