I loved the beautiful smell as you enter the hotel. The bedroom was nice and comfortable for our stay. The receptionist when we were booking in was friendly and polite.

We came back to the residents bar around 11 15 and we were left waiting for a long time. When a staff member eventually came, he didn’t know how to make an Aperol spritz. He told me I could only have a glass of wine which I didn’t want. The receptionist that was on duty passed us by and had a sad face on her.

Very friendly staff, it's a plus that it's 24/7 reception availability. Always helpful for recommendations in the neighbourhood. Breakfast was very extensive. We loved that! The room was big enough and we location in the city was on good walking distance. We really recommend a walk at the cliffs of Howth. It's easy to go there by bus or train.

We mostly don't like it when there's carpet everywhere but we're well aware that this is personal preference. Next to this, the heating in the hallway was too high. For a late night drink it's better to take a pub for there isn't much to do in the hotel itsself.

We heard no noise from other rooms, the room was clean and comfy. They had two types of pillow which was really good for choice and comfort. It was a great location with so many cafes to choose from nearby, and lots of bus stops right down the road. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated the quality of the extras (balloons, chocolates and wine) that we ordered for a landmark birthday!

Only a small thing of having very small coffee cups in the room, however when we asked for bigger cups (we're both big mug of tea kinda people) the staff happily swapped them

Great little hotel close to everything. Room was very nice, big window with lots of light, coffee machine and even some cookies. Beautiful bathroom with a duckling, our 2 yo was very excited 😃 Everything was spotlessly clean. Warm welcome at reception and on breakfast. Special tnx to breakfast staff, they were amazing, I’m sorry I can’t remember all of their names, I only remember Biljana.

We exchanged parking ticket to avail of discounted parking, supposed to be 25€ for 24 hrs however the ticket didn’t work and then the parking staff charged us 27€ + we had to pay extra 3.30 on the ramp exiting so that was a bit weird.

The location was great to access the shops and restaurants.

Our room was small. I felt we had been given the room in the corner overlooking the ventilation equipment because we had not booked directly with the hotel. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel because we felt it was very expensive. We ate breakfast at two local cafes that provided great food at half the price of one meal at hotel.

Clean, comfortable, with very friendly staff. There is one elderly cleaning person from Ukraine who was so friendly and helpful. I would go back just because of her! Breakfast was very good; the desk attendants were friendly and helpful; the dinner was very good too. We took bus tours that left at 645am and about 50 meters from the hotel. Easy walk to Croke Park and downtown. Perfect location.

Not much not to like.

Great breakfast , staff super nice , responsive and helpful We were able to park free on the street on the weekends. Our room had a musty smell. We told front desk and while we were at dinner - they did their best to eliminate the odor. Worked pretty well and we could open the windows. They also gave us a voucher for our whole family for drinks at the bar for our troubles!

The shower in our children’s room overflowed and flooded the room! We told them but they were unable to fix. No biggie- they just used our shower

Hotel was clean and fairly modern on the inside. Staff at the reception were very professional and friendly, and accommodate the request for an early check-in with little notice. The shower was great! Location is very central and easy to reach most common tourist spots on foot.

We enquired about the possibility for breakfast as we didn't have that included, but found that it was a bit expensive. While it's in line with most hotel breakfast prices, it's still a bit on the pricey side (16 to 19 Euros if I remember correctly). Plenty of places not far from the hotel to get breakfast if needed, so this was not an issue.

Was quite warm and could only adjust climate control to 19 so needed window open Bar stick wasn’t great, didn’t have ingredients to make a number of drinks, hadn’t restocked wine so could only offer warm wine as opposed to chilled Pre booked breakfast for 2 days via email, confirmed both days booked but only 1 actually booked, caused issues on the second day with tables

Overall this is a very good hotel in a very good location and very good value for money in comparsion with some other hotels in Dublin. If I'm travelling to the capital again I will certainly look to go back.

If there was one very small thing I could recommend it is to take a look at the shower pressure/temp - I was on the third floor and once I turned up the water to get it hot, the pressure started to drop. This really is just a small issue in the context of this overall excellent hotel.
