The location is great. It is quiet area, there is no party crowd around. It is walking distance to O'connel st, Temple Bar and attractions, very close to bus and train stations to quickly go out of town and get to the sea side. The staff is amazing, very friendly, welcoming and helpful, always in a good mood. We stayed in a twin room. The beds were comfortable, the room size was good and it was super clean.
We found the room was very basic. There was no AC, it was very warm and we could not open the window. There was no cupboard / wardrobe or drawers to put our clothes, only a few hangers. For a 5 night stay, it was not ideal. The room rates were very high for such a basic room. Double the price from usual, as there were lots of events in the city (Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, Girls aloud, Europe football final )

Originally, we were planning to take the train from Belfast to the hotel, however the train was down so we took a bus. Both the bus drop off and train locations were very convenient. It was probably a five to seven short-block walk from the bus, plus taking the bus to the airport was super convenient since it picked up about one or two blocks away. Inside the hotel, it was pretty nice, though nothing all that special. The rooms were clean, comfortable and pretty quite for being in the middle of the city (our rooms didn't face the street). The restaurants had decent food and the staff were all very polite and helpful. I'd stay there again.
The hotel is in the heart of Dublin and the neighborhood was okay. Some homeless sleeping on the street nearby and there was litter around the entrance and outside plaza. Not the hotel's issues but it did feel a little sketchy outside. I wouldn't have felt safe walking around there at night alone.

Walkable to bars and shopping. Good location. Water pressure is great! Love the style of the hotel, with many hallways and creaking stairs. Feels more like a bed and breakfast than a full on hotel. Make no mistake though, this is a full on hotel! Dining and a bar are available downstairs.
Not super quiet at night, but if you bring earplugs you’ll be just fine. I slept without and managed. Also a little further from the sights of the city than I'd have preferred to be, but you can't beat the value you get for the price of this room.

My room was comfortable with plenty of hanging and storage space. There was a heater which was quite convenient to take the chill off the room although the hotel seemed quite warm generally. The bathroom had a shower over bath and was very clean and there was plenty of hot water.I ate in the bar several times and enjoyed all the meals.Breakfast had a good selection of options and was quite busy but well organised. All the staff I had contact with were very polite and knowledgeable.
The lift seemed a little slow so I walked up and down the stairs to the third floor as it was quicker. The hotel is situated in a location which is surrounded by traffic which can be quite exhausting, noisy and scary at times. All the surrounding buildings have grown up and around the hotel so it seems isolated but it is convenient for Connolly Train Station and Epic and Custom House. This is not the hotels fault.Dublins traffic is very heavy all the time.

What an incredible stay! We planned a trip to Dublin to celebrate New Year’s Eve and ended up at this hotel in a bit of a panic after our previous accommodation canceled on us last minute. The Booking customer service recommended us this hotel and let’s say they did GREAT. From the moment we walked in, the staff were absolute stars. Robert the front desk manager, and his assistant Lucas were super understanding of our situation and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Robert let us check in early—at 11am instead of 2pm! And as if that wasn’t enough, he upgraded us to the most beautiful room! It was honestly the best surprise ever. The room was so elegant, spacious, and just perfect in every way. What a perfect way to initiate 2025 🎉🍾 Throughout our stay, we had the occasion to get to know other members of the staff better. Big shoutout to Deyse and Abdoull. They are the nicest people ever and going to the reception was like going to hang out with friends ! You guys always keep your happiness and your smile ! We had such a great time chatting and laughing with them, they really made us feel at home and we can clearly see that they do everything they can to make the trip memorable for the guests. We also thank Rocio that we haven’t seen that often, but was so nice to us anyway! We couldn’t be more grateful for their kindness and for turning our stressful start into an amazing experience. When we come back to Dublin, without any doubt—we’ll be staying here again. Big thanks to Robert, Lucas, Deyse, Abdoull and Rocio for everything! You guys are the best. Location and all amenities. All staff we dealt with were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel room was modern and spacious and everything was clean. The beds were also very comfy!
I read the reviews for the hotel before we arrived and some comments guests had made concerned me, but, I am glad to report that we had none of the issues that others guests seemed to have. I know some people complained about the noise from outside, but, its each guests responsibility to check the location before they go. Of course it's going to be a little bit noisy outside being beside Busaras and the Luas line, but, you get what you pay for!

The location is great - opposite the bus station and near a train station (Connolly) in central Dublin; the staff were friendly and accommodating; the room I stayed in was absolutely beautiful and very spacious - it was a grand room in the Georgian part of the hotel overlooking the Custom House - I really appreciated this upgrade - incl bathtub, thank you! Everything was very clean; there was abundant tea/coffee in the room; the heating was on all the time. I arrived before official check-in time and was allowed take the room (as it was ready). (It turned out I realised I had worked in Beresford Hall Townhouse - boutique hotel now incorporated into Beresford Hotel - 19 years before!)
It did take a little time to reach the room from reception (up and down small flights of stairs), but it - the room - was well worth it; unfortunately I was unable to leave my bags at check out as the hotel was closing for a few days over xmas (typical, when I had just done xmas shopping too), but luckily a very friendly man in a small hotel nearby let me leave my luggage there (after I had enquired about luggage storage facilities)...

The location was about a 10-20 minute walk to everything that I had planned to do on this trip. The staff were very friendly and attentive when you enter the building to make sure that only guests enter the building, so I felt very safe staying there. There is a Tesco Express and Lidl about a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel and this is great for getting water and other groceries in the evenings. I would recommending walking most places, but the taxi's are always in the area so it is easy to get a taxi fast and they have an easy time getting you back to the hotel too. I used Uber to get taxies a few times on this trip without any problem.
The beds were not super comfortable. I was so tired that I still slept well, but know that the beds are very firm. The drainage in our tub and sink were also not great as it took a while for them to drain and you will be standing in water for a while while taking a shower before it drains completely. It is across from a bus station so there is a population of homeless people in the evenings, but none of them ever bothered me or my family. The hotel is also a bit of a maze, but this adds to the charm of it being in an older building.

Our stay was exceptional! The hotel was spotless and had such a cozy, inviting atmosphere. A huge part of what made our visit so memorable was Robert, the manager. His kindness, friendliness, and cheerful demeanor made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, and his hospitality truly added to the overall experience. A beautiful hotel is great, but it's definitely made by the friendliness of the people which is important and Robert was very helpful, cooperative and cheerful! On top of the spacious and immaculate room, Robert’s excellent service made our stay feel like home. We’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in the area. This hotel offers fantastic value for money. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Lady on reception when we arrived was very pleasant and helpfull and the gentleman at reception the next morning also very helpful. The room was newly refurbished and clean and beds very comfortable.
When we went into the restaurant everything on the menu had soya in it. My daughter is intolerant to soya and even the salad had soya in it so there was nothing there she could eat and the server just shrugged his shoulders. When asked he didnt even check to see if there was any bread rolls in the kitchen just said thats all they had. We had to order sandwiches from Just Eat that had no soya in them.
